I feel this review is:
HDFC was my preferred banking partner until I applied for Home Loan, From the outset of this process my experience is as bad as I couldn't even imagine with any other company working in this domain. The people working in home loan department from top to bottom has no idea what professionalism is, process or value of time, they just don't care about you, your grievances, or your queries what so ever it is.
Having this pathetic experience I've decided to put down all my banking relationship with HDFC and would not opt for any in future as well. I would also suggest people reading this review should not opt for this if they wanted to be refrained from frustration.

I taken personal loan from HDFC which is one of biggest mistake in my life. They will put lot of hidden charges and other banks quiet better compare to this. Dont go with this. They will squeeze maximum and they will not allow to you go other bank due to heavy charges on pre closure.
Worst Branch to ever open an account. Zero Customer Service. They have taken money from my account for a Saving Account and its been 2 weeks haven't even got any account details. They all believe in taking money and fake promises.

I have already a car loan running with this bank unknowingly I have not maintained a sufficient amount in my bank account for car loan auto debit which happens on 5th of every month but a bank tries 2 to 3 times for auto debit so on 2nd attempt it got deducted so practically I have never missed a single month payment it's been 2 year I am paying them my car loan EMI's and total tenure of my car loan is of 4 year only so I expected a top up loan from them but when I called customer service firstly they guy who answered was nt sounding happy attending the call secondly he said we can't give you top up loan because your EMI auto debit got bounced I told him just after that in next 5 days auto debit happened and I have not even missed a single month payment it is not said Bounced specially during this Covid time so he came up with an answer that because of this reason we can't provide you Top Up loan at all after this loan gets over then you can apply my friend who has a can loan with ICICI Bank he has payed only for 1 year he got top up loan every easily so I am feeling awful experience with this bullshit bank worst banking service anyone could get and also in the past to this bank don't have good reputation with customers I have heard lot about this now I felt it . Such a pathetic customer service. I have never seen in my life. More than 3 months, I have been behind them for receiving payments on my UPI id with this bank . Nothing has moved . For every mail I get a revised resolution date and on that date I get the same reply . Really pathetic. Never ever open a current account with HDFC. I have wasted hell a lot of time with this bank . Really Sad!
HDFC BANK SHARES CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND EARNS OUT OF THAT. EVEN THOUGH MY CONTACT NO.IS UNDER "DO NOT DISTURB"(DND) SINCE LAST 2 YEARS.
EVERY DAY I GET 20-25 CALLS FROM CALL CENTRES IN THE MIDDLE OF MEETINGS & IMP. WORK. EVEN IF I BLOCK THEIR CALLS, NEXT DAY, cALL FROM ANOTHER NO> COMES IN.
EVEN IF I KEEP THE CALL, IT WASTES 5 MINUTES OF I.E. HDFC HOME LOAN, HDFC SECURITIES, BAJAJ FINSERVE, CARE FOUNDATION, NGOs, HOME LOAN DEPts, SEVA ORG etc.
We had signed Confidentiality agreements on opening of Current & Saving accounts. This is how Customers are pissed off for just for earning few bucks. This has never happened earlier. Had complained to my RM too, but no action.
Pls. look into this matter seriously CEO & Head- Customer care and prevent further selling of data. Advise to delete my no. else, Consumer Forum.If after tolerating patiently for 2 years, this complaint is coming, it should be honored and resolved.

HDFC is not the type of bank I would recommend. The customer service executive put me through the IVR thrice only to select the language again even though I had been careful in selecting it. The customer executives didn't even speak to me properly and put me through IVR, they must understand that these calls are chargeable. This was such a terrible experience. If they can't fix the problems of customer whats of using of having them?
I opened an HDFC Banking account to experience HDFC and gradually diversify banking to contain risk. Their Branch manager forced preferred banking program to me which I declined. He kept on insisting and after he agreed to following conditions, I verbally accepted the program
No extra charges for program ever.
No minimum balance requirement.
Just after few quarters in program, my nightmare started and twice they billed me for the program and then they did all kind of tricks by shifting my relationship from branch to virtual and what not. It took one month of calls, emais and other interactions to get the charges waived. Nightmare continues;then they put minimum balance requirement also. When you need them they will never pick the call but they will keep on calling you for selling their products.
Do not opt for this program. Do not become their lead for selling products. Otherwise you will repent wasting so much time and energy for no returns whatsoever from HDFC bank
Credit card customer service is worst! They are not responding even after trying many times.
Lost my CC a few months ago, however all the payment was made before it was lost. But a month later I received a message of my credit card payment, when I called the customer service she informed that it was a GST on the card that I blocked. But nobody has guide me to make the GST payment when the neither the card or the number is available. Every month they keep sending the increased GST amount but nobody have called to inform how to do it, and also I have not received any new card.

I am getting calls from HDFC bank daily 10 times asking whether I want to take personal loan
Even my number is DND activated, they do not bother to honor DND
I have been approaching the bank for guidance to operate my Bank transaction they simple say call 04461606161 No proper guidance and support from the Branch how the elders will use it. Staffs do not behave politely and they are always hard. Net banking is also difficult and finding it hard to transfer on time.

HDFC Bank Savings Account comes with lot of customer freindly features. It provides debit card with saving accounts. Customer freindly bank. Bank is serving best to its customers with multiple retail products like accounts, debit cards, loans, credit cards etc.

Today after 2:30 PM I have visited to bank to take normal update in passbook as some 580RS was debited and to know why it was debited to take transition I went but,
I was surprised that Staff is Not Available in working Hour,
I visited twice again at 3:30pm also and wait till 04 30pm
the bank was closed
this is horrible to see my work is not done there is no one to ask and no proper response from the staff

The worst banking experience ever with any bank. At the time of opening account they will call you multiple times but once its done they ain't even bothered to give service of any kind. Even if you are unable to visit the branch they will definitely come to your place for account opening but for giving any kind of service they won't come to your place.
To be honest, HDFC has failed me as a customer now. Firstly, it is very difficult to connect with their advisers on call and that too if you are connected once, there's no guarantee if you are even going to get your resolution.
Hdfc is the worst bank which charges double the amount every month for non maintainance of balance in account, they themself changes the bank status from salary account to charge the same
One of the worst banks in terms of customer experience. I have never got anything on time in the last 15 years. They do not know how to use technology effectively. Very arrogant behaviour of some staff members. Not bothered to improve even if you point out. They will still try and justify that it’s not their mistake. If there is a choice I would recommend you to bank with any other bank but NOT with hdfc. I have lost my valuables due to the careless attitude of branch manager and relationship manager.
