HCL Infosystems Ltd

Guys I am writing this review because I have experienced this company. I worked their for 11 months under the OICL project I.e. Oriental insurance corporation limited. Where I used to handle call board as well as tech department and the salary is under 5k.

After that I need to work as a service engineer on Saturdays. By my own money spent on visiting clients house or offices.

And we don't know when they will pay us back that money.

So, my request is please don't join this company at all.

You will not gain anything from here.

HCL is the worst company I have ever seen.

No proper salary benefits, No proper payment of Provident Fund after getting relieved from the Company.

Even, many of friends from HCL are crying for working there. In HCL politics will be more in the management.

They will treat the employees as Slaves. Employee is just a resource, which is to be used to get the job done.

Always they will conduct Fake interviews. They will call 200 to 500 candidates for the interview, collect their resumes and they will be send them back without giving proper updates and Finally we will get know that the vacancies have been filled up by Employee referral.

That was an Horrible experience in that company, I was working as an service engineer under apprentice there, there was a lot workload and sum I was paid was horrible I only know how I had to struggle there for my survival, the working hour was not properly defined for us we had to just work and work and give output, even though it was just my apprentice there but they use to pressurise us for the work. Over all that was the worst experience of my life I will never refer anyone to join that company.

It was the worst experience in my entire carrier. Salary is minimal, almost half of the average salary you can get anywhere for same job profile.

No job security. They hire you as a temporary employee on contract of 1 year and promise to give you permanent position after completion of 1 year. You patiently wait 1 year and all you get is contract renewal for another year.

There is no specific organizational work culture. Your ways of working will be decided by your manager. If you are unlucky like me, you have to work even after shift is over. Work till late in office and expected to reach early in office next morning. Work on weekends without any comp Off's or allowances.

After all this when I got another job offer and resigned here, my manager expected me to serve 30 days notice period although my offer latter said it was 7 days being temporary employee. I even took this matter to HR but no one even bothered to help.

I served 30 days notice, counting days to be left to get out from this hell.

When you have no hope to live anymore in this world. when all you need is some salary or resting stop for 1-2 years. then you can join HCL infosystems.

This company was destroyed a few years ago. HCL stopped producing computer goods. This not only destroyed HCL Technologies(its appraisals from last 2 years have been almost zero for most employees). but also HCL Infosystems.

Most employees left this company. Then it started sending its employees as outsourced employees. Seeing that the rest of them also left. To survive somewhat. Infosystems hired 3rd party employees and projects.

Now from 2015, Infosystems revived somewhat. so it started hiring permanent employees. but its mentality has remained just like previous era. On top of it, the working conditions are poorer than before.

1. Theres no job security. Every week there are policies that have to be followed and manager meetings where your weekly work is discussed. If you have X no. of tasks. and you did all of them. you will come under firing bracket. If you have X no. of tasks and you were not able to do any task(even if due to other external reasons) you will be fired. so you have to do some work. and leave some work.

Ive never seen such weekly basis scanning of employees work anywhere in any company. Every week managers demotivate employees that the domain will shut down and they will be out of work.

1. You cannot join HCL Tech once you come here. So those who think that Infosystems will be a stepping stone then forget it.

   
   




2. Theyve hired 3rd party employees. This is like lion getting a taste of blood. Since they can hire n fire 3rd party employees haphazardly. they treat permanent employees like that as well. They refuse to remove all 3rd party employees. and they also refuse to stop hiring permanent employees.

   
   

3rd party employees are given targets which they have to achieve or else they will be fired. Which means they get more work than you. so your learning becomes zero. Eventually if they dont get any work they will be fired. and if you dont get any work you will be fired. So there are fights in teams.

1. There is no work. But there is lot of pressure. Bullcrap assignments are given by higher management that makes no sense or are tediously boring. The work never stops. If they ask you to make a house. they keep asking for more n more till that house becomes Taj Mahal. then they say that even that isnt correct.

   
   




2. Actual work begins after office closing times. Most managers/employees/users keep sleeping all day. They dont reply to mails.

   
   

Once 6 pm comes, they all come to your desk with inputs/outputs. Manager comes on your seat to'discuss'.

This discussion couldnt happen between 8 to 6. It has to happen after 6.

1. Just like most HCL Tech employees lives are screwed. here its worse. There are no appraisals or designation change.

I have purchased HCL ME TABLET Connect 2G 2.0 on 30th September. Then it gets stopped working within next two days.( Power Issue) I went to HCL service center and submit tablet for replacement at below mentioned address:- HCL Infosystem Ltd., SCO-66-67 IInd Floor Sector-17A, Chandigarh I have submit my tablet on 4th October for replacement, since it has been almost 1 month passed and I didn't got my new replaced tablet.

Following is mentioned details:-

Purchasing date: 30th September 2013

Complaining date: 4th October 2013

Feedback: I will definitely ask everyone in future, please beware if any HCL product, it's fraud and worst company. Even costumer care and service center executives haven't any answer of my queries.

Even if a car gets minor damaged, we can have it re-paired within 15 days with insurance claim. But having HCL product and it's service is my first and worst experience of life. Best Regards info2preet@gmail.com

I strongly recommend not to join HCL-I. There is no policies in this company If any they don't follow them. It is survived by brand name not by its credibility of its work or policies. Management is worst in their standards and no one is fit to be in their position, they got the positions because of chamchagiri or chaplusi. No proper guidance on appraisal process or hikes. who ever chamchas to them they will get hikes not by performance. I have suffered personally in this company. So sincere suggestion to others not to join by the brand name.

If you have any other option, then go for it but not to HCL-I.

Please do not join HCL, a true advice. You will regret!!!

No career path, no appraisal, full of politics, people do not want to work there and neither will they let you work, no mentorship for the new employees. They treat you like slaves, full of mallus and they have their own gang that does not support and allow others to work as they see HCL infosystems as their own company. No stability in job profile, salary is pathetic, not employee friendly. The HR is always sleeping and they do not care. Whatever happens, they will never pick up your phone. At the time of interview, they will say a package of 7 LPA but when you receive the letter, it would be around 4.5 - 5 LPA.

Please stop cheating the employees, HCL Infosystems' top level management....

A year ago I had the similar incident with this so called HCL Infosystems senior HR Mr "CHIRAG JAIN". I was following up with him regarding the java vacancy in then called NDPL. After having several telephonic conversations , he called me up for interview.I burned my petrol and travelled all across the jaipur in scorching heat of may just to be thr on time even though I was running high with fever and was carrying the burden of being unemployed struggler.

But even that was not bad enough that he came with slapstick.After taking my 10 minutes interview he came up with his real hidden purpose of calling me thr and making fool of me.He told me that thr policy has changed and now they charge80, 000 per anum for a year trainning and will give me 5000, of it as a monthly stipend.

Guys even though he was just doing HCL marketing but the way he behaved and conducts himself is realy sad.Being senior hr , he should have understood his responsibility and should have told me this thing when I had telephonic conversation with him.He gave me all the false hopes on telephone and never revealed his hidden purpose of calling me up.

Its been very disgusting on HCL's part that they hire such irresponsible people in the organisation. These people not only bring shame to the organisation they work in but also to the whole fraternity. That day I exited the HCL doors eccusing this "CHIRAG JAIN". and do it till now.Only HR I remember in my life. Buddy "CHIRAG JAIN" OF HCL INFOSYSTEM...... thumps up to u........u are so good in collecting accolades for ur self that in few years u will be blacklisted by NASCOM.
