Hawkins Normal Pressure Cooker

In the month of October I had purchased 6.5 litres Hawkins cooker from Murugan stores , Vile Parle east , Mumbai.The cooker was not performing as expected.I returned it to Murugan for repairs.They got it repaired, however the issue persisted.Murugan provided me with the contact details of Service head. I shared my concern and video of the issue where the vapour escapes from the side of the lid .Also the rubber comes off , while placing the lid.However there has been no response and I am left with a defective piece.Woukd not recommended this brand or product anymore.

The product worked well initially and then started releasing some harmful carbon patches. Even though the product is under warranty, the customer support team do not respond to the emails.

I bought the cooker on 1St April 2023, I had a issue, when reported, they asked me to adjust the cap...i did it but no use.It is always throwing out through the whistle cap... Please buy a better product

It is the pressure cooker which is very costly but it is durable.its style is very simple not fashionable so it is not for such type of persons who believe to buy a fashionable pressure cooker .But in reliability it is a very good pressure cooker.In safety point of view it is very reliable .In this pressure cooker chances of blasting shall be reduced because of good quality of aluminium sheet and its efficient technology which is used in it.one of the most important cons is its sheet is sticky in nature so foods easily stick.

I have been using these "small" hawkins pressure cookers since almost twenty years!

I have three of them - one for rice, and the other two for gravies and non-veg.

They are very sturdy, durable and I never faced any issues with it for years.

Just recently - one of the handles broke loose - after nearly a decade of rough use. The hawkins service guys nearby replaced it immediately.

I would vouch for a Hawkins inner lid pressure cooker any time. Buy two together for a long lasting experience.

I have this pressure cooker and it took only few minutes to cook the food stuffs.

I have it and it helped me in cooking my food in the morning before leaving to the office.

It really helped me in cooking vegetables and pulses.

Sometimes I use it for the rice too. It is a good product and the cost is also affordable.

I would recommend it to the users.

I would rather tell the buyers that I have been using it for 3 years but still I have not found any problem in it. So you can rely on it.

I loved hawkins pressure cooker . it is used by my mother for making vegetable & rice in my home. it is made from full aluminium body that absorbs heat very fast and efficiently and reduce the cooking time. with dual plastic coated handle it will remains cool to touch. my mother always say that it is very safe and handy to use.

now a days almost every pressure cookers in the market coming with non- stick option . this is defenitaly not a non-stick cooker but cleaning up is just as easy as non- stick .

Hawkins pressure cooker is a much needed product in every kitchen. It has become my favorite rice cooker. Here is the reason

Being south Indians, we prefer red boiled rice in every day meals. As we all know, white rice can be cooked easily with any kind of cookers. It takes less time to cook and while cooking it absorbs all the water and thus enlarges.

But while coming to boiled rice, texture is different. It is thicker than white rice. Hard to break. Thus cooking time is more. I tried to cook red rice with other pressure cookers. Even after 1hour of cooking, rice was half cooked.

I came to know about Hawkins cooker in my relative's place and just wanted to give a try.

Surprisingly cooking time was just 20mins. It was perfect! Just one whistle is enough.

It has few unique features which others don't have. Closing as well as removing the lid is tricky here. Must turn the lid in 90 degrees to lock and release. After cooking, it will not let the pressure go out immediately. Rice gets cooked perfectly during this period. It takes minimum 30mins to release inside pressure.

Note

• Must be carefull while closing the lid, otherwise you will find leakage on heating up.

Hawkins is one of the best cooker. It is very much helpful in cooking  and reduces the time of cooking. It helps a lot .

My husband bought this five years ago.still it performing well and same pressure.

Wherever my husband go for his job he took this with him because its so handy and comfortable with bag.

It looks so stylish and very small to handle you can keep it in a small luggage bags. This cooker contains well finished all edges you won't get any wound while washing.

It has one unique style that is inner lid, most of the people forget the rubber where we kept it. It solves that tension.

Service is so awesome .Wherever we go get good service and support. we have small and large one of this pressure cooker.

I strongly recommended for everyone, especially for bachelors.

I have just purchased a Hawkins Aluminium Classic Pressure Cooker of 5 litres for Rs 1, 685/-.

Hawkins as you know is a well known name in pressure cookers and it has its own market share in regards to it. I am fond of trying new recipes and in this regards this pressure cooker has proven to be a boon. It is quite durable and easy to use. For a family as big ours(6 members), it is a good buy. It saves a lot of time and give at the mark indications about the cooked food. After using it I really got in love with this. Good styling and innovative design makes it unique and guys this the really a good value for money spent.

I am purchased this pressure cooker from the market at 3000 rupees but today I may not more satisfied by this pressure cooker because it is not give better making the food and I am not comfortable to handling this pressure cooker and many peoples are unlike this pressure cooker and this company is not give return policy so it services not more better and its price in the market is very high compared to other pressure cooker available in the market and its design is more comfortable but I am not look better this pressure cooker and it is not a give better making and feel comfortable to cooking in this pressure cooker so I don't like it I think it is totally waste of money and time so thank

I have purchased this pressure cooker one year before . The quality of product is not good.nozzle not working sometimes. Also the air leak from the corner of pressure cooker upper cover. my experience is not good with this pressure cooker .I will not recommend to purchase this

Pressure cooker it is the best pressure cooker I had ever used. really friends this pressure cook look and design is not much good and quality od product not perfect good.

I am using this cooker last five months. I bought this pressure cooker from a showroom for personal use. This cooker is ease of use and also easy to clean for anyone. I was happy with this cooker performance at those time. I disappointed with the present time, If you want to cook any things in the cooker, you face overflow problem much time on a gas hob, and a floor is dirty each time. This pressure cooker does not give any return policy at this condition.
