Purchased a bottom mounted Haier refrigerator(300lts HRB-331 HP). There was a manufacturing defect and this was bought to the notice of company in a month. Even after 6 months, problem is NOT addressed. Their support is the worst any one can expect. Product has a sealing problem, gasket has a significant gap which leaks temperature/moisture/insects.
I paid 18, 000 for this junk product and feel cheated.
Advice for people looking for Haier refrigerator, check the door thoroghly for uneven finishing, gaps. Compare it with others(LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Godrej) you can clearly make out the difference(remove the gasket and check). This is a chinese product and it shows in quality and service(no matter what salesman says, like german technology etc.).
Service personal were not able to diagnose what the problem was. First they said door needs replacement, later they are saying door is fine, body has uneven surface. I am planning to file a complaint in consumer forum.
If this is the support I am getting during warranty, cant imagine what will happen if I face any maintainace issues after warranty period.
I would Neither recommend Haier products to anyone nor would buy one in future.
KEEP AWAY FROM HAIER.
