You know sometimes we all get in the mood to bake a cake, or some cookies, or a pie. We even sometimes get in the mood to stir-fry something healthy! (My kids run from that healthy stuff!) We even get in the mood for good old pancakes. Now I don’t know about most of you folks but I hate to grease and flour cake pans, and I hate to grease the pie pan and I don’t always care for a little oil in the frying pan for the stir-fry, or other similar items. So basically what I am saying is why do something that is not necessarily the way to go! Why not look for an alternative to grease and flour? I certainly did and boy was I ever glad of it. What is that alternative you say, well I will tell you what it is! Cooking spray! And I don’t mean the expensive ones either. I mean the everyday, run of the mill, generic bran d made by Wal-Mart, Great Value'' At first I was leery about cooking sprays, but once I tried them I loved them. I have used the “Name Brands” but one week when the budget was tight, I discovered that Great Value™ made a cooking spray. Great Value™ makes lots of wonderful products. Cookies, sugars, shortenings, cakes, pies, tissues, and the lists go on and on. Just about all products that Wal-Mart offers in a generic brand such as Great Value™, Equate™, Sam’s Choice™, Old Roy™ are wonderful products. But, this review is about cooking spray. You can check your local Wal-Mart, if you haven’t already for these great products!

How I feel
I love this cooking spray. I use it for everything that I bake, or stir-fry. My cakes and cookies and pies come loose from the pans with no problems. The cakes fall out without sticking and leave no cake behind in the pan. Cookies scoop right off the baking sheet. And the pies cut out nicely. Pancakes brown nicely and come right up. Meats do not stick either. Making some hash browns? Use this cooking spray! I have had no problems with Great Value™ cooking spray as of yet. And I have been using it for a number of years now. I use for scrambling or frying eggs, pancakes, French toast, bread pudding. Everything! The clean up is very easy. Most of the time I can just wipe the pan clean with a damp cloth of paper towel. However, eggs do require a little bit more muscle. But for the most part clean up is very simple.
So the next time you are looking for a cooking spray consider the Great Value™ brand brought to you by Wal-Mart. And remember, not all generic products stink. Most are rather good products. I know, I am a bargain shopper! I hope that this has helped in some kind of way. God Bless!
