Govinds Bandi, Charminar, Hyderabad

Hello guys today I am going to tell you people about the govinds Bandi l. So this place is near my house therefor in old city hyderabad. I have been eating at this place for long. The Govinds bandi offers south indian food that means Dosa, idly, wada with coconut chutny. The price of food before was 25₹ idly 30₹ dosa and 30₹ wad but now they have increased the prices to 30, 40, 50. The best thing to eat at govinds bandi is tava idly it gives the most tasty tava idly. Lots of people come from long distance to eat dosa, idly and wada. Govinds bandi has made his goodwill from long time and many people have shooted videos at this place.

I'm late, very late to write this review by over a year! I remember visiting this place during a breakfast marathon in the mid 2013. My first time to a place so interior for a dosa. Once called Govind ki bandi he is now Govind tiffins with all the employees wearing Govind Dosa t-shirts,  now that's a heartening sight to see:)

Directions:

Heading towards Charminar, you will see a water fountain right in the middle of the road -> take a right there ->Go straight and at the T-junction -> Take right and head straight Govind bandi is to the right where the lane curves.

Have visited Charminar atleast a dozen times and this place half a dozen times. I love the butter dosas and tawa idlis here.  I usually prefer Ram ki bandi or Laxman ki bandi but when I have to travel all the way till Charminar I would end up here. Dosas overloaded with butter, cheese and other things can actually be termed as junk food but  when served in the name of a Dosa it is satisfying that you are eating something healthy, hot and tasty;)

So yes, heart patients weight watchers just enjoy the review not the food here:)

Things tried:

Everything on his menu with the recently introduced Uthappam. All priced at 50 rs apart from the regular non butter ones which are a little cheaper at 35. Which is really pricey for the small 4 idli's he serves with chutneys.  The cheese ones are priced at 60 Rs.

Recommended:

Butter dosa( ask him to do aaram se pyaar se),

Tawa idli.

He is flocked with so many people that the last few experiences have been very forgettable. Having visited this place for over a dozen times, Today I introduced a few kids to this place to try their butter idli, tawa idli and butter dosa so that they are initiated to eat and explore street food;)

I'm terribly shocked at the watery chutney, the gunpowder having no kick nor a strong flavor whatsoever and the idlis were very ordinary. For that price, for that quantity and not keeping up with the old Govind's bandi standards of tasty dosas and idlis. I'm not disappointed, I'm sad. It's repeated three times in a row now:|

Only 3/5 for this and the last few experiences put together. Hopefully he maintains his taste and quality standards and not lose his patrons very fast. I'm definitely not visiting him for a few more months.
