The ingenuineness of this review appears doubtful. Justify your opinion.
I feel this review is:
Patna is a very crowded place. There are some places which are worth visiting, and beautiful. One of them is also Gol Ghar.Which can not be called beautiful now. Heritage, So you can go to see it. It is not taken care of at all. The Gandhi Maidan is visible which looks good. But the surrounding is dirty. Now the building has become a lot, so Patna does not look much from it. But good can go once.

Golghar is lie in Patna ( bihar) .it is a great place for tour. I live in bihar so I know about golghar.
The history of golghar is very interesting. It is a stupa which was made to keep the grain in excess of amount.
It was made in 20 July 1786.It's texture is rounded like a rounded rounded mountain. It's very high to climb.
It enhances the beauty of Patna ( India) .it is located in west of Gandhi maidan and the Gandhi maiden of Patna is also awesome to tour.
In English it is called "Round house".its height is 29 Meter. It's really a nice place in bihar to roam.
Golghar is a large grain house located to the west of the Gandhi Maidan in Patna Bihar, India. it was constructed by the British Government, its formation began 1784 Warren Hastings and was completed on 20 july 1786, its size is 125 meters and height is 29 meters. Its made without piller. on the base of the golghar there are curved stairs made up of two sides on the top of the wall of 3.6 meters wide. A spectacular observation of the Ganges river and its surroundings, which flows above those stairs, Is possible. I have come here many times and I love this place. THANK YOU
YOUR RATING ON
This is one of rhe most historical place in india . This is one of the most popular Palace in India so I am very happy to I know it is its it's known as Golghar. This way is 9 to 10 kilometre so I know it is very impressed to all Indian peoples and all world men tourist its. Golghar is one of the most largest building in India show I am very happy to go through it
It is one of the most important and historic monument present in our city. It is just 9-10 km away from my home. I use to go their regularly because it is present in main town. I use to visit their through public transport or by own vehicle also. It is situated near Gandhi Maidan and auto stand. It was used to store grains during British periods. It was built by Britishers. It has approx 250+ stairs. Its structure is round so that's why we call it Golghar. There is no any security facility available here, anyone can enter here. It needs maintenance. Our govt. also does not look after it. It outer wall has become very weak, it needs repair. But no one is here to look after it. During day time, any one can visit here but at night, it's not good place. There is no any good hotel around it . So, it creates problem for the tourists to visit here. But even then also many tourists come here and visit this historic place. Our govt. should look after it because it is one of he important historic monument present in our city.
Hi, guys I went to one month before it is really unique place I went to with my girlfriend and same friends I enjoyed lot, this is a big shape house store for grains created by British government's officer John grastin 1786 when magdh Samrat was Ashoka his name Patliputra
Golghar is also a famous name in patna tourism. But it is not good as it was used to be.
1) Accebility here is not easy anymore you can't spot it from far dustance. Beacuse ot the rush and building.
2) local sigtseing is also effected by increasing population and huge buildings build near it.
3) Hotels and accomodation are available but they are pritty far away from here.
4) It is probably safe if you get hurt there are hospitals near by and it was repaired recently.
Thanx
Zainul haque

overall this place is very dirty and should not be visited, if you want your safety.
Hi dear, I am telling you about a historical place in Patna - Golghar . I have gone this place 2years ago with my parents, sisters and brothers . I spent 6 hours in this place . it's located near gandhi maidan . I have climbed 700 stairs, 350 going and 350 coming . it is developed by English rulers for stored grains . it's built in 1786 by john grastin . when I go to top of the golghar then all over Patna seen looks beautiful . I want to golghar again .
It is a historical place situated in Patna near Gandhi Maidan. It is just 10km away from my home. I have visited here a lot of time. It is big round building in which there are stairs made from outside the building to reach at the top. There are approx 278 stairs from one side. There is a large area for parking in front of this building. It was made by britishers for the storage of grains. So, earlier it was a grainery storage buliding. But now, it is empty from inside. Many tourists come here too see it. But there is no any hotel or restaurant in nearby. So, it is quite difficult for the visiters to stay. It is a safe place because it is situated in mid of main town. It lacks security guards. There is no any security check in at this place. There is poor maintenance of this buliding. There is no any to look after it. The outer walls are not in good condition. It looks not very good from outside. It needs painting on the outer wall. Most of the stairs are also not in good condition which is quite danagerous for the visitors. Our govt. should look after it because it is a historical place. It needs repair .
I went to Golghar one week before and this is really a brilliant place to visit for a day trip. I went with my family and we enjoyed a lot. this is a dome shape big house created by the Britishers to store the grains. well golghar is the largest dome here in bihar. we went up through stairs and believe me awesome scene of capital Bihar from the top.
We felt the clear and pure air from the top and this place is remarked as historic place of bihar.we can saw the Ganga river from the top. this place is near Gandhi maidan and you will get all kind of transportation to reach at this place. this place is tourist place and per day more than 500 visitors come here. I traveled during the rainy season because the scene is superb at this time. I like everything about this place specially the Dome, I don't like one thing and that is you will not get any thing to eat on the top so if you are going carry your snacks with you. I am planing to go on this weekend again because this place is really so interesting to visit. This time I will click the pictures of the best scene observed from the top. I will recommend this place to every one because this is our ancient place and we should visit at lest once.
Friends, Golgarh is located to the west of the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, capital of Bihar state, India. It is a granary built by Captain John Garstin, in 1786. it has a storage capacity of 140000 tons.
Built in the Stupa architecture, the building has a width of 125m, and a height of 29 m. It is pillar-less with a wall of thickness of 3.6 m at the base.
One can climb at the top of the Golghar through the 145 steps of its spiral stairway around the it. The top of the Golghar presents a wonderful panoramic view of the city and the Ganges. The best part is the view trom the top of it. One can see the whole city from top of it.
Golghar is an ancient creation which was built in the year 1786 by john Grastin. First time I came to this place with my grandfather when I was of 8 years old.
There are more than 600 stairs and to go up you have to walk through the stairs 300 for going and 300 for coming.
This place was built as granary to store grains and one most important thing that golghar is constructed in such a way that it opens only from inside so one have to go inside the golghar from top and then he can open the door. It’s a marvelous construction.
I went on the top through the stairs and the scenery from top is mind blowing you can see entire Patna. You can see the huge Ganga River gushing beneath. I come every year to this place and I really feel so excited. Well you will find so many crowds during the weekends you will get all medium of transport for this place and you will get nice restaurants and hotels if you are planning to stay. I will sure recommend this place to everyone
