I choose buses based on comfort, professionalism, and the good behavior of the staff. I specifically booked Go Tour Travels for this reason, expecting a smooth experience. However, my recent journey was disappointing.
I arrived 30 minutes early at the designated boarding point, which was mentioned as "Near Chutneys Hotel." We were standing exactly next to the hotel, waiting. When the bus arrived, they stopped a little before the hotel. Since I had luggage, I walked down to request them to come forward, and the staff agreed. But the moment they saw my luggage, the conductor started scolding us saying, "This isn’t even that much luggage! Why did you ask us to move?" He seemed unfriendly ans dismissive. when we explained that the equipment was delicate and heavy, his response was less understanding, saying, 'this is not more luggage for you, 'with a negative expression
First, they had already stopped further back than the mentioned location, so we were not at fault. Second, I had booked an extra seat just to keep my camera equipment, which is delicate and requires careful handling. Despite this, the staff’s rude and unprofessional behavior was disappointing.
