Global Punjab, Hadapsar, Pune

The food over is pathetic. I didnt liked the food at all. They charge you well for the food but the quality is not upto the mark. Only the name is global punjab but they really dont know how to make biryani. I had ordered chicken biryani and tandoori chicken so tandoori was ok but biryani was like curry and rice. Didn't like at all.

This place is situated in Destination Center(DC) area of Magarpatta City. It is right in the center of the place(good ambiance overall, but you don't get a view of Magarpatta Garden). We went there a few days ago, and were not disappointed with their food quality.

For starters, we ordered Golden Fried Prawns and Paneer Tikka. Prawns were large in size but few in number. Paneen smelled fresh, but was a bit chewy. However, on our second visit, it was better in quality, so it must be a logistics issue.

For mains, we ordered Chicken Rara with their famous Guccha Parathas, and the combination tasted really awesome. What I liked was that the Guccha Parathas were really nicely done, and had several visible layers. It was really fresh and Chicken was good quality too. For vegetarians, the options would be Paneer Tikka Masala, Manchurian gravy or their famous American Chopsuey.

Overall, it is a good restaurant for sure, but a bit heavy on pocket. A meal for a couple would cost somewhere around 600/- if you are hungry. Ambiance, as stated earlier, is good. Staff behaves nicely and is prompt in service. All in all, a good hangout place for couples. Bachelors would find this a bit costly for budget though:-)
