Girias Children's Explorium, Bangalore Reviews

Closure status not updated in the Social media

Without going through any of the review, i ventured out to this damn place, with my grandson giving him a lot of false homes. Hiring an auto fro home, managed to hit the place just to find closed doors, seems since ages. A road side vendor informed me that it lies closed since more than an year. Doesn't have owners to update in the social media that the unit is defunct and permanently closed?

Horrible hygiene, poor staff and too pricey - avoi

This was once a good place its not anymore. The published time is 10:30 am the staff crawls in at 11. Nearby establishments say the staff being late is routine. Many items are not working or have become old, dirty and dysfunctional. It doesn't seem a good job of cleaning is done. The toilet is broken and dysfunctional but the charges dont change. There is paper strewn and nobody ( just 3 ladies who manage the place). You are not likely to get even a bottle of water on sale. I particularly worry about hygiene. There are enough people who have complained about the price. Inr 750 per child on the weekends. The value for money is horrible. Go here if u want to take a chance with kids health. Avoid the place Many such have come and like them this will go too. This is my third time here. Previous reviews i gave were good on google. Not this time.

Overpriced and defective play equipment
Apr 27, 2018 03:18 PM3237 Views (via Mobile)

Girias charges 750/- per child on a Friday!  As per them on Fridays, weekend charges apply! We are here right now and a lot of their play equipment is either badly maintained, under repair, missing or lying in some other area! The ground floor has a few staff who are not interested in showing the kids how the equipments work. The first floor does not have a single staff around and play equipments of different play stations are lying in different places, with no one to put them back. To top it all the toilets are dirty, the tissue paper counters are completely empty, and  only one washbasin has water. The equipment with pins into which kids insert their hands and face has a smell. Complete waste of RS 750/- per child.

Jan 19, 2018 10:46 AM4421 Views (via Android App)

Last September, I went to my uncle's home ( banglore) . When I reached at my uncle's home, My uncle decided to go girias children's explorium( banglore) with all family members. There was two types of tickets ( adults and children) .they charged rs 600 for children and rs 200 for adults that was high rate as compare to other place. One negative point about that is You can't enter with any food items because it is not allowed. When we went to cafeteria for soft drinks and some milk shakes . We was shocked with their price rate. it was costly. I took two choclate shake for rs 240.My uncle wasted his money on girias children's explorium.

Girias children's explorium

I will share my reviews on Girias children's explorium which is located in Bangalore. I visited Girias children's explorium few days ago with my kids. Charges of Girias children's explorium are quite high as compared to others. The cost per child is 600 and for the adult it is 200.

The most negative point about Girias children's explorium is that we cannot carry our food inside it and the food present in Girias children's explorium is quite expensive. It is not a nice place for enjoyment. I will never recommend you all to go for Girias children's explorium. Thank you everyone.

Cost of entertainment for the kid clearly outweighs the facilities provided. It is only two floors and although there are some items that clearly are of interest to children (bulldozer, crane, etc), the overall cost 600 per child for the whole day and 200 per adult is not justified.

What is appalling is the food services. You are not allowed to bring your own food inside, you are not allowed to go out for food (once you go out, your ticket expires), and you have to buy the food which is available inside the cafeteria, which even Bill Gates would frown upon. One buttemilk glass = Rs. 100 only.

For the record, I am not going there again. Kyds Adda at Banashankari is a much safer bet.

The only positive thing would be the staff, they are courteous and polite. I am not able to find any other positive items.
