Ginger is located at Harish Mukherjee Street Kalighat. It is bar cum restaurant. There are two floor-On the first floor is the restaurant section and the lounge bar is on the ground floor.

Candle light Dinner evening is organised on Wednesdays in Ginger restaurant. I visited Ginger with my husband on Wednesday for Romantic Candle Light Dinner.

The ambience and decor was good. The dim lighting and a violinist playing romantic songs added to the romanticism.

Service is prompt and good.They serve Indian, chinese and continental cuisine, We ordered Aloo do pyazza, Malai Kofta, Pulao and masala Kulcha. The quality and quantity of food is good. In deserts we went for Ice cream and Gulab jamun. It was awesome.The price is on the higher side but worth the ambience and food.
