Gangotri sweets & snacks, Ballygunge, Kolkata

Gangotri Sweets in Ballygunge is very famous and needs no introduction. It is not a very grand place and hence don;t go there with great expectations. It is a decent little shop that serve some kickass delights.

Like any other sweet shop. They serve the regular mithais and snacks. The only difference is that they don't source anything from outside they make everything in the shop so you can be assured anything you buy from Gangotri will be super fresh and yummy.

I love their mawa mithai and Kaju katli. Their galebis and fafdas are very famous and people from afar come here to eat them. Along with the jalebis thier dhoklas are very yummy too.

The pricing is very low and anything and everything you buy from here is cheap and tasty. I love Gangotri it is my family's favourite. Our sunday breakfast usually comes from Gangotri and I recommend it to all.
