Gangar EyeNation, Naupada, Thane

I have purchased spectacles after more than 10 years because of WhatsApp. I am using reading glasses. About 10 years ago one small optician prepared it for me. This time I preferred a brand GANGAR EYENATION for quality service.

They welcomed me, they explained everything in very professional manner & also gave few suggestions how I should choose my spectacles, at every stage they have gone ahead with my approval in selecting frame, and glasses and overall construction of spectacles. I was very much impressed. They were very co-operative. They told me that I have only reading glasses so they also suggested not to go for bifocal so I agreed.

I received my spectacles, but while using it, I am getting headache so I went to them & there I realized that my old spectacles about 10 years or more are more effective & far better than what I have prepare new one. They also suggested me to use old glasses if I am more comfortable. So I am using the same old spectacles. Because glass and frame both are not suiting me.

Now, if I am spending so much & not able to use new spectacles what is the use of spending on it when I am using same old spectacles. which is best in everything fitting, looks & suitable glasses which I can use all day long if required, what exactly GANGAR EYENATION gave me against what I have paid for?

Went to buy new glasses for my good quality, not so old frame. After finalizing the deal, salesman informed me, if frame breaks/damages while fitting glasses. Their technician won't be responsible and customer has to take the risk.

I thought they were joking, but they clarified again and said if frame breaks it won't be reimbursed.

I think, it's good strategy. You bring old frame, they sale you new glasses, then they breaks olf frame and sale you new frame as well.

Ganger eyenation ... please keep it up! But i we not come back to you again.

I am 10 year old customer of Gangar. On 17th Oct 2021, I went to buy a new eyeglasses from store. I selected a Ray Ban frame worth Rs. 8200 as per price tag and bar code on frame. While processing payment, the store sales person said the prices are revised and new price is Rs. 8800 as per system which was Rs. 600 more. I was surprised as how can there be a price difference between bar code and system. Further, prices can not be upward revised in system even in case bar code is old. I asked sales person to charge as per bar code however, he was reluctant to charge higher prices. I decided not to be buy the product as I din't know whether prices is actually upward revised or there is something else.

I had purchased specs worth of 3500+ in urgency from Hangar Eyenation Chembur in July 2019. Since then after 10-15 days the frame started getting lose but somehow I managed to use it. I had been trice to the branch but issue is never addressed on permanent basis. Their technician fits some screw temporarily and again the same issue pops up. Last month i told the store manager that frame is completeley loose but he just tighted the screw but didn't fix frame issue despite of reminding him. Useless service by Gangar. Better to purchase specs from. Local shops who value the clients rather than wasting money on such attitude based staff working with so called useless Brand.

By using their defective specs i have started facing eyes pain issue

Bought progressive spectacles with frame cost at 11K from Gangar Eyenation Vashi store in month of & February 2021 and observed frame developed crack in month of August 2021, went to Vashi store considering there is warranty for such expensive frame and this crack was not due to any wrong usage. Store manager assured to put up strong case for replacement. It's more than one week and still waiting for replacement. Will update status shortly

After lockdown, it is not enough for stores to just open, they have to take strict safety measures and Gangar Eyenation is doing great at it. All their staff wears mask, gloves and face shields. They sanitize the products and shelves and equipment for every customer’s use. It’s weird but it’s the new normal, so it’s good.

It is not easy to come across brands that cater to all price ranges for all customers. Thankfully, Gangar Eyenation is one of the legacy brands that ensures it has something for everyone. My whole family is chashmish and we all visit only Gangar stores for all our eyecare needs. We have a friendly rapport with the manager now and he always makes sure we get to see the best collection of frames.

The staff at the gangar Eyenation store is really helpful. I've been shoping from Gangar for a couple of years now, they always have the letest trends and fashion and the staff also updated the same. It's good to shop from a store that makes something as simple as eyewear a great experience.

I remember gangar Eyenation to be one of the first brands to introduce digital testing in stores Earlier , dad would always take me to the doctor and for some reason, I would be scared to go. But then Gangar came up with such advanced technology that now my family only gose to the doctor if recommended by gangar store optometrist.
