It is one of the premiere colleges of odisha having a very good infrastructure and faculties. The courses offered here are B, Tech, M, tech, B.Sc(Agriculture), MBA. The best thing about this college is its campus. The campus is having all the facilities like sports courts, gym, cinema hall and food outlets. The placements are well. The packages are not that high but most of the students end up getting a job. The classrooms and labs are well equipped. The main problem faced by the students is due to the remoteness of college from the main town. Neglecting the issue of its remoteness, it is a very good college to get into.

It is the best college in odisha .it is a popular and predimuch academic program in this college .where have most of the student are talented and sensier .its teaching process is too much good of other than college .it is a fully friendly and giadance college.on the other side this college have came many more campous to select the student for their company job. And they select huge ammount of student for their job.And student are also good in extracurricular activity in this college function .it is Administrative program or management is too good .i canot explain it is all work .

To me, I think it is the best college in odisha. My brother is also pass out from this college. Many campus has come to this college and students has got the chance to perform their talent and get selected also. Before admission it has also conduct a bridge course for students to give basic knowledge of engineering course, which has helped the students for improvement.

Giet gunupur is one of the best collages in odisha.

Located in the top hills surrounded by mountains an giving a pleasant view to the outsiders. As per the education is concerned over here its quite better one . This is the only collage in odisha which is being rising like anything from placements to the other activites, like the NSS ( Natioal Service Sceme) the main moto to this to serve yourself. This collage has achived many awards from the state government which is quite a good thing.For the timing the collage is providing more than 90? placement every year this seems to giving wings to the cooming batch to explore themselves in order to excell their future So far this collage has achived many medals and trophy and in coming year this collage is going to reach the apex.

GIET-GUNUPUR is the largest Engineering college in Eastern India.GIET is a famous name at odisha for its Engineering Education since last 18 years.GIET is located at Gunupur under the district Rayagada, Odisha.

Well I have completed my B-tech carrier with this institute.I am completed my engineering degree during the academic year 2009-2013 with Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

As per my view college is very good as compared to other engineering colleges of Odisha.

There are 11 branches of engineering are there at Giet, Gunupur. Faculty is very good.Most of faculties are from M-tech and PhD background.Rules and regulations of administration is very good.

Hostel is very good.In hostel 2 and 3 sharing rooms are available.Food quality is good and tastier also.sweeper is appointed by authority to clean the room and toilet everyday.

A large playground is there inside the campus to play cricket, Football etc.Canteen facility is also available inside the campus.you can find one tea stall, one saloon, one laundry inside the campus.Library facility is also good.There are very good laboratories for doing practical are also available at giet, gunupur.A small dispensary id there inside the campus for check up the health.

Apart from that giet is also providing very good pre placement training with high qualified professors.and giet is also brings some good companies for campus requirement.

If you are from Odisha or from Bihar and you are looking for doing engineering at odisha then go for this college.
