As I am writing this, I am very happy contemplating on the memories of our wonderful picnic to the enchanting theme park…yes, the ‘Fantasy Land.’
I wonder if this write-up can ever portray our enjoyment…maybe it’s just an attempt …to keep this day fresh in my brain {my weak memory, as I think it to be}
Okay let me start… right from the day’s start.
I am rather proud to boast that this was one of the days that I heard the alarm clock…that too at as early as 6:30.
Yes, don’t believe me?
Ask my alarm clock!?
Getting ready was never so fast…we had a responsibility of making sandwiches. At about 8:00 am or 7:30{curse my weak memory}, we were at sindu auntie’s house…baking…oh sorry making sandwiches.
Preeti, Aanand, Sinz, Shehnaz and I,sleepily {at least me} but excitedly ctrl + X the bread. Though shrajoined in later she too was of good help.
As time crept, we were more sad than happy {thanks to that irregular busman, hope he never see’s my angry face!}
We thought that the booked bus would never arrive and planned for riks {ya they are a mode of transportation}
To everybody’s surprise and relief, the bus honked …too late but it did {better late than never}.
All {sad but happy} rushed towards the bus and were seated for the Fantasy land…yes read on…
That’s still to come.
Than the Chembur-Jogeshwari road heard only loud {did I say loud? Sorry, very loud} songs from our sweet voices.
I hope they must have made out that we were singing {playing all-time favourite Aantakshari}
In no time, in about 45 minutes {yes, my memory is improved now.} We were where we were supposed to be 2 hrs earlier.
Then we Page down {alight} enter {the theme park of course} and then page up up up up {till we reach the dashing cars}
Sigh! , A long queue…but worth the wait! My dream of driving a car {sob…at least a fake one} was fulfilled.{im a minor} My happiness knew no bounds when my hands caught the steering and the car was all mine…in my control!
Then came the duckies {not Photoshop ones, really not that yellow!} I think kid Surya was thumbs up for that ride.
Then was that ride {a kind of one seater} which hovers in the sky, revolving around a fixed pole. To everyone’s surprise,after sometime the per person seater {more or less like a small helicopter} swings up and down in speed. {At least surprising me for a second or so}
This was the unfortunate place where Sinz’s bag’s chain refused to co-operate and send us three {shra, sinz and I} right at the gate to make up for the emergency bag break up.
Okay. Now for the most…most exciting ride… ya u guessed it right …{hey, I didn’t ask u to guess}
THE ROLLER COASTER: {As an honour to this ride, I have written it’s name in capitals}
I sat in this train {deciding not to think…because if I had thought …the ride would have never experienced my scream…Oops! I would have never experienced this ride}
To give me moral support or get moral support {or rather both} Sinz sat beside me and held my shivering hand tight. No, this was not the exam results or an emergency operation of a closed one…but inculcated feelings of both.
After less than half the ride… I strongly…ya strongly repented my bold decision.
I wanted to go back {where is the backspace key?}
Then came the much-expected screams and much heard heartbeats as the train {or whatever} took a full 360degrees turn.
Ya… 360{no mathematical error there} suspending us in mid-air. In a second, I called out all the God’s names possible. After the ride my confidence shot up by 200% and I found myself seated in this ride, more, twice.
I spotted some blue {rather cyan} slides twirling and twisting with water gushing on them .The very thought of getting wet repelled me away from this ride. But the very next moment the thought of missing the fun {as described by Jay’s} attracted me towards the slide-ride inspite of a four-floor climb! I liked Jay’s mention that “you never get a second chance”
And thank her for melting my stubborn thought and inspiring me to relish this ride.
After about enjoying this ride twice by us three and almost 5-6 times {correct me if I am wrong}by Nitin sir and others our hungry stomachs took us to a nearby restaurant {kamath me- thinks}. Then were taken the quick orders by us coordinators
And hogging on the tasty…umm… my mouth’s watering… Pav Bhaji.
After rest and roaming were the peaceful boating done by many.
I don’t know why …ya now I know…because of the AC… {curse the hot weather}shra; sinz and I were playing video games in an air-conditioned parlour.
Then came the pedalling boats{ya I pedaled too} and the one-seater boats…no…tyres, which I found very enjoyable.
I could spot someone {like bittu} oops it was bittu itself calling out to us and giving us the news that all were looking for us.
Jinks! Even we were looking for others!
Sky ride {a sponser ride from our class} was next.
Hey, did I mention Nitin sir’s gola treat?
Yeah…. and my fav candy floss {pink-pink in my language} added to my happiness.
Didn’t I tell you that we noticed aanand dozing while seated on a seat? Hehe…that was too funny.
I don’t think it necessary to mention the tora-toraride. I will tell you why…Sinz {50 kg I guess} was leaning on me due to our mistake of sitting together on one seat! Hey, but that too was a different and exciting ride {hope she’s not wearing sandals while reading this}
Next was that round and round and round and round {ya that can only make you picturise this ride motion}
It was some kind of swirling at 90 degrees at break-neck speed! I think that’s one of the scariest ride {for chickens like me}in ‘Fantasy Land.’
The dragone {sensation and existence gone rather} ride made me uncomfy. But I was better of, off the ride.
Then we entered the disc{all dark and loud blaring music} more like a haunted house…
Ya, we really enjoyed watching Bittu, Aanand and Shra dancing here.
Hope u enjoyed reading this. Even if u didn’t, it’s Okay {sob…. sob…}
I enjoyed writing this.
Ps: Comments and ratings are welcome{hope this tells you that I like reading comments}
