It is not so good. I feel the skin getting dark after using it. I don't recommended it and it leaves white marks on my skin after using It as it does not absorb completely into the skin.

No.Not at all.After applying it, the face becomes dry.And after going to the sun, the face starts to turn black.Friends, from my experience, I would say it should not be used.

No doubt, this product has been a prey of criticism since age old, which is very genuine, and may be for that reason, the Indian Subsidiary of Unilever announced to rename the popular skin-lightening brand "Fair & Lovely" as "Glow & Lovely." But does it change the content of the product? Or does it delete the impression made till now? Alright, forget all those, will it change from "Skin-whitening" to some other product? No, definitely not! Because, the company claims it to be that. I don't know how much skin it really whitens or brightens but yes, you must have to agree that this so called product is a lightening or a whitening or a brightening cream. If anymore synonyms you get in mind, please do comment below. Haha! It was a pun.

Well, I am not here to change your mindset or make you agree my perspective of view but I am going to type here my opinion and say the honest review. Firstly, according to me, this product or you may say, the company is doing nothing but promoting negative stereotypes around dark skin tones. It is purely discriminating people against skin colour into fair and dark or white and black. There purely is seen what we call 'internalised racism, ' which is a so very bad thing, at least I am entirely against it. The country where we do live, and take pledge, an Incredible India; where there are so many religions, so many caste, and so many more, where we learn EQUALITY, FRATERNITY, BROTHERHOOD, if such companies with such products and advertisement will be around us, what more can we expect of!

In one sentence, if anyone asks me about it, then I would say- Renaming the product doesn't mean anything, that's just colourism by another word! Hey, where am I talking about only India, I must say that they are aimed at women in the Black and Asian communities. Truly, I don't have anything to say anymore. And how can anyone forget its various advertisement one after another. All its ads have been associated with either marriages or job. It purely says that if you are fair, you will get to your desire, be it your desirable job or partner or anything. If not, then? Well, what about the sentiments of those millions of people having dark skin colour?

Yes, I do agree, the same product has come up with some career options where one needs to register and follow some steps accordingly but I don't know how far it has helped as I myself tried once to opt for Teaching, it didn't work. If it isn't the case with you, I would be glad to hear from your side.

Oh I am so sorry, I was so much carried away with the controversy and the Externa that I totally forgot the Internal content. Well, who wouldn't have used Fair and Lovely! At least, we all must have used it in the childhood. Even I have. And talking about its performance, it is the worst one. I don't know why it is named as whitening cream, but it does the opposite. Yes, it has a good fragrance and texture, while using it or applying a top layer, there is a good feel. But a little later or one hour later, or after coming back home after some work, I would recommend you to see your face once. Trust me, it would have been better if you would not have applied even a sunscreen and went outside. Yes, its that bad! And I have to say that the chemicals in it are seriously harmful and as a cosmetic with cheap cost, it is not going to do any good but harm your skin. Being in a Medical field, I will never recommend or suggest this Cream to anyone.

I can say that this cream is worst cream you can ever see .

Firstly it whitens the skin but after some time it gets darker than our original cream.

and specially it is too different from its advertisement.

please don't use it you will not get fair skin as you saw in ads

I recommend you to not to use or buy it. You can use other products but yess I liked the fragrance of cream.

It is a very good cream. I am using it from last 3 months and it has helped me a lot in removing dark circles, dark spots and it has healed the skin- makes my skin fair, beautiful and glowing. We can use it in any season or in all 12 months. I usually use fair and lovely fairness cream . It is well worked with me. There would be no any pimple on my face while using this .

when comes to price 50g pack costs only 95 rupees. later to try a new face cream I prefered fair and lovely multivitamin face cream.

I applied it for two days . after that I observed some pimple used to appear on my skin. It is so embarrassing thing to me. black spot appeared on my skin. then I stopped using that cream. I find too much difficulty to remove the spots again. So please don't ever try this product.It's costs is 145 rupees that is more than normal fair and lovely

My friend is using this product from last two months. so she suggested me to go for it. But when I made use of this product I felt that this just like an ordinary cream. After applying it on my face my skin becomes dry and a whitish layer form on it. so if you want any cream which gives you a brighter appearance please go for another one rather than using this product. thanks for reading.

My mom is using fair and lovely cream from last 12 years. I saw my mom use this for fairness and every day she use it. I noticed that this cream does not give fairness.

One day I had tried this cream and this is very very unuseful. When you apply the cream on your face the cream gives a type of oily skin.

If you are struggling in outdoor then your skin goes dark because of the cream.

My sister is using fair and lovely cream from last 5 year.we can say she use this cream every day.but I never noticed any benefits of this cream on her face.but when she stopped to use this cream I noticed her face is start glowing.her real color is glowing.that was the best shade of her face.

I don't know about face creams but I think this cream is just waste of money.
