Good ambience, food is average in budget, was a frequent visitor to this place until last time when the service was very poor and it took ages to get the starters repeated.

Only the starters in the buffet are worth, else the main course is just not upto the mark.I wonder what has happened to the quality of the buffet over a period of one year.The management should be improved by St Laurn.Didnt visit this place over a year now dont know if they have improved.

Ebony located at St Laurn Hotel, Koregaon Park. we were out here for Buffet lunch on a friends recommendation.

The ambience is simple yet effective having a dominant blue light effect. the hanging chandelier type lights added an elegant feel.

They have comfortable table and chair seating with a well stocked bar at one end having high stool seating. the place is big but the arrangements have actually left very little space for movement and it becomes worse when the crowds start coming in.

They actually should clear out the space by reducing a table or two here and there. the seating is comfortable and the buffet spread out well. as for the food for Rs.600 you couldn't have asked for more. they had a few options on non-veg compared to veg.

We had Murg Shorba to start with( clear soup, good consistency and pieces of tender chicken in it) of the starters Chicken Makhmali Kebabs were good( cooked well, chicken marinated with a yogurt based marinate giving it a tangy feel, soft and juicy) the other fish starter was little too oily for my liking.

Egg salad( with boiled eggs, mayo and crisp fresh veggies was good to taste) the main course again had a fish and a chicken variant.(Prawn Kolhapuri had succulent prawns in a spicy red gravy) and Garlic Chicken( was milder yet had a strong taste of garlic and tasted average) Schezwan Paneer( spicy, paneer pieces soft and tender) Tawa Vegetable( live counter with a variety of fresh veggies including potato, lad finger, corn, etc tossed  in a masala based gravy) was a bit disappointed to know that the rice preparations didn't have biryani or chicken pulao.

The Dal Tadka( more of a home made dal with traditional tadka) Triple veg Noodles( again too oily) Desserts had limited option as well with Assorted Chocolate Muffin being the best of the lot. Kiwi Gateau(had a vanilla base sponge cake with fresh kiwi pieces on top) the staff was helpful in guiding us and served well. Moong Dal ka halwa was also worth a try. overall the spread was good for the price and worth a try.
