East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore

As I have studied in this college and did my MBA course here. I would suggest people to refrain yourself from joining this college...I had a bad time...the management is extremely bad ....

I joined the college thinking the admission fee was comparatively less and they said the amount paid during the admission is the final

They did not give the receipt of the no due certificate after the fee was paid...on top of that all the silly expenses made on uniform, admission fee the receipt was not given ..every other day they come up with one new payment which I don't really understand why should we pay

They collected 1000 from all for the clg fest ....I thought the clg fest should be free from all...but since this clg was a scam college my hall ticket was kept on hold

I'm fed up asking unlimited money from my parents due to the unlimited expenses given by this clg for which the receipt is also not given back in return ....so what do I tell my parents?

The placements are bad, , they don't have lecturers so we had to study accounts by our self... lectures were provided 2 months after the clg was started so basically we wasted our time initially

Had the worst experience with this CLG

They have smart TV only in selective rooms so v don't give a chance to use them when required

I am student from East Point College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. Myself and two if my friends were the last to leave the college hostel during this Corona pandemic. The college authorities took special care to ensure that we reached the airport safely. The CEO personally enquired if we required a transport help and had gladly helped us. The non teaching staff took good care of us.

The college is full of mucks and tainted pupils on your career prospective this shouldn’t be a last option too, it’s better you refrain from joining here or else you will have to regret later

And the college management is least bothered about the disciplines in the campus and has one to monitor around

As told in the title, its an average college , in the outskirts of Bengaluru, near bidarhalli. Its little tough to travel as very less buses availability to the college.

It has all recognized breaches of engineering, & is under VTU university.

Talking about the placements, it is not such great. So, if u have less option, then opt this college.

Its a good college my brother studied in this college

good faculties which are friendly and loving

and having a good knowledge and skills

good campus even a bit small but overall a good campus

good environment to study so overall a good place to complete engineering

but here placements so comming to the main point placements are very descent hmmm I cannot say it a good but yes a descent because not much company will come and our effort will require more 80% will should be our effort so overall its a nice college to study if you have a bit confidence about yourself in terms of placements

As I studied in epcet( east point college of engineering and technology) the campus of this college is very good, teaching faculty is good but we go for palcement in this college it is very bad( as I know) and it is very difficult to get our internal marks .

As per speaking about academic progess it is not so good, PTM( parents teachers meeting) is not done at all. Only our internal marks sheet are sent to our house( only if students are given right adreess many students will give wrong adress) ,

Adminstration is very friebdly but fees are very high, must be made low , campus is fully surrounded by greenery, canteen food will be good, zerox shops are inside the college and bank is Near by college , it is good

As I am the student of EPCET(east point college of engineering and technology) I wanted to share some experience of my college.(my life)

who ever think of college they mainly see towards the academic(teaching) and placements. To say frankly teaching is extradinary and coming to placements its 50-50 means only few companies will take part, so I can't say u that u will be placed for sure.

Then administration of the college is taken seriously and by maintaining the records of the student and here there is no encouraging of parents and teachers meeting but parents can make a call to the teachers for academic details.

Then coming to the point of student view, they think of extracurricular activities(such as sports, dance, debates, quizzes, etc).Of course students should have all talents but in epcet such talents are not supported completely but all in one they conduct during feast called SAMSKRUTHI which will be held on even sem which won't be such entertaining.

SO I CAN SAY THAT U CAN HAVE THIS COLLEGE only after the trial of other colleges because even traveling to this college with out own vehicle is difficulty.

This college is full of rowdies and there is no proper education but there is extra curricular activites.

For those of your who don't know about the East point college of engineering and technology, let me warn you not to take admission in this college if you are concerned about your career. I myself was a student of this college. I was not lucky since we didn't have blogs like this in our time to read the review of this college. After I got admitted my career was ruined. The management as well as faculty of this college will literally torture you and will mentally harass you, trust me.

Let me tell you about the management first:

The chairman and his two sons are the Mafia of this college and all 3 of them have never ending hunger for MONEY. They can go to any level just to take money from the students. For small reasons they will fine you. I still remember I went to buy books after college hours at around 3.30 pm because the faculties ordered us to bring them to class next day or else they would mark us absent for the entire, month.We had no other option so I went to buy books after the college, while returning back I was late and entered the campus at around 6.30 in the evening. The chairman was waiting like security guard infront of the college gate and stopped us from entering the college. We explained him why we were late. First of all he started hitting us literally like dogs and then fined each of us with 10000 rs( we were 3 friends). He refused to listen to any of our explanations. We were not allowed to enter the college. The worst part is that he told us " bloody North Indians". We had no other options so we paid the fine. So this is a small example of the chairman.

The hostel infrastructure is good but the food they provide is of worst quality, tasteless. You have to make long Q's like prisoners and wait for your turn. By the time you reach the counter, the food will be over and then you have to wait for another 35 min to feed your stomach. Trust me you will feel like a beggar. In the hostel you will not get water even to wash your hands. The bathroom are stinky and dirty. You have to wait in Q again to fill your bottle with water to drink.

Coming to the faculties- worst faculty I have ever seen in my life. This college hires cheap teachers who dont even have proper communication skills. They will come to class teach you nothing and even if you concentrate you won't understand anything, what I meant to say is the teachers of this college are only good to pinpoint you at your small mistakes.

East Point college one of the best college in Bangalore. I have gone many colleges in Bangalore, Mysuru, Chennai etc for conferences. I asked about facility, Rules. But all colleges gave me negative answers. Why East Point college is best, because Faculty of that college are very good. If you have any doubt about that topic you can ask the respective faculty they will clarify that doubt. But accept that all colleges faculty will tell don't have time.

So for study purpose in my knowledge this is the best college. Ans also fooding facility is very good compare to other colleges. But college management is not good.

Definitely YES a better place to start the Engineering studies. EPCET is located in JnAnasultan Prabha campus, which is spreaded over 90 acres of fertile land. The college campus is set in a tranquil space surrounded by greenery.

Facilities at East Point College of Engineering & Technology -Hostel, Library, Laboratories

Sports, Computer Center, Internet, Placement Cell.

Thoughts vary from person to person but according to me EPCET is one of the good institutions. The students of this college work at some of the biggest multinational corporations of the world. The education and exposure in the college preps them for a lucrative career in fields of their education. Over the years, the placements at East Point have become excellent.

I am a passed out student of this college. I have had very good 4 years of engineering in this college. Yes I accept that the college management pulls out a lot of money from your pocket.

But at the very same time the college management as well as teachers are very supportive if u want to participate in any extra curricular activities, but at the same time they expect you to study which is fair enough from their side.

The best part about the college is it has a very good campus filled with greenery all around and a huge campus too. According to me it is a nice college to join but please do amend to the rules of the college ( which are not too many) otherwise u might fall in trouble.

College has good faculty members but that is outweighed by worst management and administration. You can not find any human being with humane qualities in the office of the college inquiries and requests are not entertained to the maximum possible extent college fees is above the range for a medium category college.

Here you can find the worst library in the world, its such a hostile environment that students fear to go to the library, it's ruled like Hitler's type dictatorship the head and the working staff have forgotten to smile. Even principal is afraid of the management and he fears to help students who are fined for lack of attendance or hefty fines imposed for over due library books.

No one dare's to comment on the management and if you ask who is this management they become angry on you and change the topic altogether it's a dictatorship that prevails in this college with the only difference that Hitler was fond of attaining more power's but here these dictators are fond of money.

IT'S AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE HUMANITY AND LOVE ARE REPLACED BY GREED FOR MAKING MONEY!!!!!!!!!

If anyone is thinking about taking admission in East Point College of Engineering in Bangalore, let make you aware that it is a worse college that I have seen ever in my life. My brothere is studying there, he stays in the hostels which is like a yak shitty place where a electronic engineering college cannot use laptops and if they catch them using they will take your latop and charge you 2000 Rs. per annum and after paying that amount you can get your laptop back(what kind of rule is this).

Secondly if you go to meet the chairman in the college initially you be welcomed as God! and after your child has taken admission there you will not be allowed to enter his cabin, they will give you hell lot of excuses.

Thirdly, half of the students are addicted to drugs.for which there is no rules. After you enter this college and after 1st year if you feel that you are not able to cop up than you can't take out your student from the college just like you have to pay full 4 years fee than only the college personnel will release your original documents. They will not not take care of your Children if they are sick or if he/she is alone they don't have doctor facility, etc. One more stupid rule is if you step into grasses in the garden you have to pay Rs. 5000.00/- as fine.( Do you think it is necessary for a college to do all this to earn money, is this a eductaional institute or bazaar where they need only money, no ethics has been followed.)

My question is what kind of action is taken by government on this. Is anyone taking any action on this or keeping there mouth shut as if nothing has happened.

East points faculty is good but the management structure is worse than MS-13 and all they see in u is small walking ATMs. If u have any problem come to us we will personally help u"-during admission"there will be no discussions on this topic, leave my office"-after admission.

After these years if I knew all these and if someone puts a gun to my head and tells to join this college , then I will take my chances and fight with him rather than come here based on True Story.

I have done my b com graduation from the Dr.N.S.A.M first grade college it also called as Nitte Meenakshi Engineering college. Really it is a superb place to study I was there in the campus for three years I dont know how days passed like minutes still I can remember my first day in that college.

Very good faculties nice play ground hygiene canteen facility, even it is far from the city you feel the modern facilities in the college. Very nice environment it is good place to study. In the same campus there is Engineering as well Under graduation course like BBM, B, Com

Even they are planning to start evening college. Also very competitive fee structure.. If any of your friends planning to do Engineering either Degree it is good college to go for. There is separate hostel facility for grils and boys if they are willing to travel they have bus facilities also buses available from many parts of the city.

My brother joined his 1st year. Heard a lot about stupid Rs.10000 rule and Chairman’s mafia rules!!. His first day was worst day he ever had, I had earlier shared him all good experiences of my college days and how it really shaped me.

Well here you go in East Point with some idiotic rules like if you use your laptop you would have to pay 300 bucks for that (For heaven’s sake, its an computer engineering college), forget about that you cant even peace out with a nice little warm shower cause dont have that facility neither you can bring down your own water heater.

And if you dare to do that you would have to pay 5000 or 10000 bucks or else get expelled. Damn! I guess where are these 5000 bucks going specially when you have big sh!t h0le in each toilet thats not even mended properly (And yeah if you are gay you can go and see how the other person is shitting inside..lol!).

And yes, here we are 21st century and we have stupid moron rules like you can’t wear T-shirts or floaters, I heard sometime back jeans were not allowed. I dont know where the management came from, may be back from 50’s or 60’s. Cafeteria food is really crappy, you cant have more than 2 rotis or bread, what is this Tihaar Jail ??

I am very surprised to know these hard facts, Had this college been in Delhi we would have gifted some nice hardcore bashing to chairman and board. College infrastructure even though boasting about 78 acres, it is all crappy. It should be a tourist spot for ancient India, you will see sheep gazing grass and Buffalo’s having wild bath. Everything from Amazon rainforest grass to all kind of insects are there. Lets talk about sports, I saw somewhere in their website some cricket club, basketball etc. Hell yeah, I never saw any sh!t outside.

And yes, my favorite part “THE RAGGING”. This college is sh!t, you dont even have nice little ragging for juniors. Atleast there is no fun and no memories for our young grads to take away after their graduation. Comeon guys do something about it. Lets be fun and lets make this college a great place to study.
