Awesome experience with him as he treated problem which others could not even recognise. He could be a bit angry due to his age and as he wants the betterment of patients and wants to give time to maximum possible patients kindly keep it in mind that his service to patients who are needy is very important hence dont waste time by booking time and not coming to visit.

Arrogant, Rude, Greedy doctor

My wife, Gurpreet Kaur went to a sector-33 clinic of Padma Bhushan Dr. Jagjit Singh Chopra for the neuro check-up of her younger sister Gurjeet Kaur who had come for the check-up from distant town Fazilka in district Ferozepur. They confirmed on phone about the availability of the doctor before going and upon confirmation from the attendee they had gone to the clinic.

First of all, the receptionist even refused to tell on phone whether the clinic was in sector 33-B or 33-C. When the patient was taken inside, the receptionist sent her along with the husband of the patient and her sister Gurpreet Kaur. When Gurpreet Kaur started telling the symptoms of the problem, the doctor started speaking in loud voice and rebuked them for not telling the story properly and in the way he wanted them to narrate the story. He used uncivilized language and was not at all courteous in the presence of two women.

When Gurpreet Kaur could not take it anymore, she said to Dr. Chopra very politely that if they have arrived late, they could come some other day that suited the doctor. The doctor shouted to them on this and told them to get out of his room. As if this was not enough, when they were leaving he said that they should not hold the patient and let her walk on her own so that she may fall on the ground, get some injury on her head and he could also see what happens to her in this condition.

No one ever expects this kind of a behavior from a doctor who has been bestowed with Padma Bhushan award by the President of India in 2008. This shameless fellow belongs to Fazilka. After this ill-behaviour, the doctor was shameless enough to ask for a thousand rupees as his fee for the check-up. Should the patients expect this kind of a behavior from private doctors even after filling their purses with hefty amounts?
