Dosa Stop, Jeevanbima Nagar, Bangalore

Dosa Stop service is aweful. First I caled them directly, they said they had "no delivery people" as they had a packed restaurant.

I had ordered for the food and told them I will pick up the food in 10 mts (my house is less than a km from their jeevan bheema outlet. I reached there and saw that there were hardly 4 tables occupied.

Even better. I ordered "idli vada" and was charged for the same. When I came home and opened the packages, there was no vada at all. There were only 2 idlies. For which they charged me 52 bucks.

So guys ordering online or getting parcels from dosa stop, please open the parcels and check before paying for it, else you might be paying for something that you have not eaten :)

We heard about Dosa Stop a lot earlier from some of our friends. So we wanted to try it some day.

Finally, we decided to dine here on our "pre-first-anniversary day". It took us approx. 10-15 mins to find a parking place nearby. But two wheeler parking was available in plenty.The place was not crowded so we found a place for us easily. The restaurant was "pay-first-eat-later" type, like most of the restaurants in Bangalore. Although mentioned as Self Service in a big font at front door, the waiter service was available

The total damage for one rava dosa, one vegetable dosa, one plate idli sambhar & a thumps up was 170/-. Slightly on the expensive side but similar to Adyar Anand Bhawan on CMH road.The taste was amazing. Rava Dosa was very crispy and Veg Dosa was no different from a regular masala dosa but good on taste. Idli was also very soft. I would surely recommend everyone to try Dosa Stop at least once.

Well I happened to walk into this DOSA Stop restuarant yesterday. Now the place is quiet average with some tables outside and some inside and the ambience is not there at all except a LCD TV hanging in the wall.

The food is average I ate a plate of idli and one RAVA DOSA. - my head was spinnning seeing the bill - 95 Rs. One RAVA dosa - 70 Rs and one plate of idli - 25 rs.

the food quality is just average and the same you will eat in any sagar.

I still don't understand the pricing part of it all - it is just basic exploitation of the customer.

I also checked out the menu price - on masala dosa - 55 rs.Oh my god.

I am shocked too the core.i have no words to say anymore.Remeber as I told before there is no ambience as such - the food quality is too average, even their chattnis are mediocre and blunt.
