Joke of a courier service

Put random customs and delivery charges without actually delivering the product. This is the motto of DHL. It’s been 2 months and they didn’t deliver the package. Their service lines are non existent and it is always on hold. On top of all this, their delivery charges are almost the price of the product itself. Delivery charges for not delivering the product. Clown of a courier service.

Worst. Ordered deepAvaLi Sweets from India to USA. I got literally fried up by my customers. One of the worst planning, execution, customer service and communication that I have ever had. Horrible and Pathetic. Haven't received the sweets yet and deepAvaLi is gone. Confirmed the Sweets and Snacks has been handed over to DHL on time. But DHL did not even worry about anything and sending the parcels at their own pace. Pathetic people. Would not recommend them to any of my friends. Most worst people in the planning and execution. Very bad, worst and night mare business experience with them.

The most pathetic and slow courier service. Nothing about their process is automated. Every process of theirs is manual and slow to the core. Keep living in the 1980s. Only their phone callertune is catchy but no one actually picks up the phone. Hilarious and joke of a courier service. 0 stars if possible

I have ordered a few Apple products on an urgent basis from the USA but it's been 2 months and they are simply not delivering my products. and for the custom duties they are asking 100% custom duty so basically buying these things again from DHL which I have already paid at USA store where my friend bought these products(Since it's high priced in India) and sent them to me. Never ever use DHL guys. they will fool you. one excuse a day and stop your package. That's what they are. I am still waiting for my package to get it delivered. and when I asked the customer agent. they said if they have a doubt they will start your phone too. This is ridiculous. can't you see it packaged from Apple? ridiculous


Slow response and express is a joke

I ordered some very important automotive parts from Malaysia and shipped it on dhl express, after reaching India they asked for some KYC and proofs, which I sent. Now it’s been over a month and everyday when I call them they put me on to a different department and make me wait a long time. I still haven’t received my shipment and they aren’t responding to the sender too.


Worst customer service ever, never will I ever use dhl in my life.

I am surprised to know that Deepali Gulati is still working with DHL as its VP-Business Development Supply Chain division. After having duped so many clients and the company as well, she is now harassing her clients to increase the commission else she will withhold their shipments. This is bizarre situation. How can a company as big as DHL unable to deal with this situation?

Avoid doing business with DHL Singapore. It is a well-known fact that Dxxxxxx Gxxxxx who works at VP BD Supply Chain at DHL Singapore is a con lady. She believes in duping and blackmailing her clients for cuts and commissions. What is not known is why DHL is not taking action against these people who bring shame to the organization for their own benefits. Why she is still being allowed to further jeopardize DHL’s reputation?

Happened to meet Dxxxxxx Gxxxxx in Bangkok in January 2020. She is working as Vice President-BD, Supply Chain at DHL Singapore. Feel fortunate that we didn’t fall for her trap of cuts and commissions. Got to know that one of my friends who struck deal with her is feeling cheated as she is now blackmailing him for increased commissions. She is a con lady, a fraudster. DHL must take action against her.

Customer care executives atend calls in a very impolite and unprofessional way. Staff dont attend customers properly. General Medicines sent from USA to mom wer askd to take delivery on payment of rs.11000 whch was not informed at the time of booking. Cal centre staff Varshana informed that they wil destroy if not received. The cost of medicine is more than the cost of delivery and other charges. I suggest not to go to DHL. Its painful experience and horrible.

-My courier consisted of very important documents and that's why I feel obliged to write this review.




  • I had a great experience with DHL services. Overall the process was quick, smooth and my parcel was safe and sealed at the time of delivery




-I could track my parcel throughout the shipment


-It was delivered before the expected time frame


-Whenever contacted customer care service, they helped me at best


-Cost was low as compared to other courier service that I enquired


-I would want to use the same service in future and also would recommend it to my friends.

The worst ever, at least in Cyprus. I import a lot of packages and most of the time it is the seller that determines the shipping method. The problems with DHL are endless. Most recent experience, I had a package which arrived in Cyprus a week ago and was finally delivered today, only after I visited the DHL office to pick it up. Instead they said I had to wait up to 30 minutes for them to search for it so I left because I had other urgent business. It was finally delivered to my address a couple of hours later more than a week after its arrival in Cyprus. I believe it is a management issue because in the past it was not so bad. I will never use DHL again. I f a seller insists on DHL I will shop elsewhere.


DHL, the worst user experience ever

You always truly know a company's customer service when something goes wrong, and you need them to solve it or at least make a fast sincere apology and a fair refund.


Listen carefully to what happened to me. On November 5th, I shipped a package with some medicine to a friend of mine in Brazil because his little daughter suffers from a severe allergic reaction, and it was easier, faster and cheaper to get this done here in Canada than in Brazil, believe me.


I tracked the package during the whole process and kept my friend informed since this important shipment had to get to its destination as soon as possible since we don't know when the next allergic reaction would occur, and they were running out of this medicine there.


The package with this medicine worth CAD$ 408.87 was delivered on November 9th, which is pretty fast based on prior experiences. But to our unfortunate surprise, the package arrived empty.


DHL in Brazil went on an investigation to figure out what happened to the package, but they didn't find anything. It took 9 more days to inform my friend in Brazil that they couldn't find anything there. They notified DHL Canada, and in a couple of days, I received an e-mail asking me to file a claim for formalities, and I did it immediately!


At this moment, even though we were all sad because this simple task of sending a package with this important medicine was not accomplished because we all know that kind of things happens, we were tied to the hope of getting a fast, sincere apology and of course, the fair refund to buy the medicine and send it again.


But guess what, it didn't happen this way! I have just received a call from a gentle and respectful attendant calmly saying that I would be refunded only CAD$ 3 and some cents calculated based on the weight of the package because I didn't choose to check the insurance option.


I was frozen, not believing in what I've just heard. At that moment, I thought that was some lame prank. But that was what they told and offered me.


It is unbelievable that such a big and renowned company, at least I thought it was, has this awful kind of policy.


I will never, ever use DHL again, and I will do my best to discourage people from doing so. I'm actually going to do this bad review in all media I have access to, including my website https://shareisthekey.com where I have numerous followers.

Completely disjointed organization. Right hand don’t know what left hand is doing. The organization runs on mercy of the God. They don’t have process, people to handle your valued goods. I reached all the way to top- CEO but they are bunch of jokers who can’t help. My shipment has multiple boxes. Each box arrived via USA to Canada in different plane. Then they wait to all boxes to arrived for custom. Once custom done, it just get stuck in their warehouse for no reasons. The status update on the website shows - required additional info. No one will be able to tell what additional info. Then you are on mercy of someone sending an email asking something (only if you are lucky). Or you just run out of luck as there will be no one to help. You just get up every morning, spend end less hours on the phone with no real info., make sure you pray to the god because that can only come to rescue and wait for your lucky day.


Unless you love the pain, there are many other options. Not sure with this kind of services, how this company get this big. They should not exist as their system is full of flaws. It is not because just this incident. When you looks closer, the company is built on worst tracking platform.


I think I warned you enough. Decision is yours

DHL is the worst service provide I have ever known, they promises us best service and fastest delivery and charge higher than all other shipping companies, but they don't have a vehicle in UK to pick up a 93KG shipment, just now I hang up with the UK and Dubai customer service as per them this is heavy weight shipment and they need 2 days to collect the shipment. Shame on you people.

Software usb and test leads removed with protective foam, and package taped up loose.


DHL tried to blame vendor but vendor sent me video of contents. Now DHL told me there will be more fees and customs on the replacement.


Customer service stinks. I'm writing complaint to Frank Appel CEO who proud of his trust culture. Forgot about the customer Frank.
