I would like to amend my previous review. I've come to understand that DHL's customs clearance process can be hassle-free if documentation is provided well in advance. However, I still believe that DHL India could have communicated more effectively to save time and effort for everyone involved.


While I now appreciate the need for the extensive documentation requested, clearer explanations and proactive communication from DHL India would have made the process smoother and more efficient. I acknowledge the importance of the documentation, but there is still room for improvement in how this is communicated to customers.


DHL's Irresponsible Service: Lost Package

I am extremely dissatisfied with DHL's service. Despite providing them with the correct address and designating a package room, they failed to deliver my package to the right location. Furthermore, they are refusing to take responsibility for the lost package and are instead instructing me to follow up with their various partners and channels. The package was stolen after it was carelessly thrown on the roadside near the designated package room, even though DHL had access to the package delivery room. Now, they are attempting to evade responsibility by redirecting me from one department to another, claiming that it is not their responsibility to engage with other departments and channels. Dear Customers,


I have had the worst experience with DHL couriers. They ask you to upload 4 documents. and then they reject 2. ask you to upload the documents then they accept that and reject another 2 . They will keep calling and harassing you to upload all types of documents you have. This will go on. They will keep sending you emails that after a fixed number of hours, we will charge you in dollars. This goes on and on. Every time a new customer care person will call you. He / She will give your suggestions. they will take declarations from you.


The KYC Team is even great.


They keep rejecting your documents saying the document is not coloured or the document is not clear.


They will say the document is not uploaded in the correct place.


The document does not have a stamp and various reasons under the sun By then your fine has gone up to 10 thousand Rupees . and you still don't get your courier

On Friday 4th August 2023 I purchased an Apple iMac M1 A2439 4.5K Retina 24" LCD Screen Glass Assembly 2021 Pink from LCD4Laptop for$386.41 GBP($775.96 AUD) but it came on Tuesday 8th August 2023 but I had been in the Gold Coast for a week from Tuesday 8th August 2023 until Tuesday 15th August 2023 and this afternoon I just found out that I just received the screen, which had been cracked on the top and on the side.

DHL were supposed to deliver my items from supamart on 1 Dec 23, no updates on tracker other than item at depot and when you call them they say you will be notified when the item is loaded for delivery. I emailed DHL 5 days ago and they wanted a full address I provided this and on track n divert put it to be delivered on 4 Dec 23, but no action was taken. So I got in contact with supamart and they told me DHL need address again. It was provided again on 7 Dec 23. It's the 8th day and no update states you will be notified if loaded onto vehicle for delivery. Furthermore, got notification on 9th day that delivery will be attempted but later got delay notification. I suspect item is damaged or stolen. I have now resulted to supamarket to cancel delivery and refund if not delivered by 4pm today. It's the time of the year where parcels go missing. The way in which DHL has dealt with this leads to strong suspicions that something is wrong with this parcel. DHL are a massive company but fail deeply. They have so many complaints and nothing is done.

They have terrible service. I see there are 95% of the reviews here with 1 star and don’t understand how may their headquarters don’t worry about this.


I paid to Express delivery for 24 hours and it took 1 week to get it after a lot of emails and calls with their workers. Total disappointed with this service and don’t recommend to anyone to use it.

so many process and submitted documents properly and after that charges parcel keeping charges also+ customs duty was high.


In Future we won't use DHL services and not recommended anyone to use this services

If there was an option I would rate DHL 0/5 stars. For starters per the tracking through DHL my package should’ve been here yesterday. A few days ago I specifically put my package to be left without a signature and today I received an email that no one was available to sign for the package. I called customer service and they are NO help. They lack people skills 100%. Very flat responses. They informed me that it can be redelivered tomorrow and that it’ll be a no signature package. I specified that that’s what I had asked for this attempted delivery today and that I need it to be guaranteed being that I work tomorrow and no one will be there to receive the package. The customer service lady said that it will so I guess I will see how this goes tomorrow. Never again would I want to have and deliveries from this company!

If u guys want to courier something please don’t use dhl service. My shipment is held since 1 month even after providing enough proof and evidence every time they are giving different reasons .. The customer service and thé employees are too incompetent to resolve customer queries. My husband had sent gift to our newborn daughter they have held the shipment from 1 month the parcel which was supposed to reach within 8 days is still under customs. all we have in parcel is few pairs of newborn clothes thats it. Yet they are making scenes of the same. Please don’t use dhl services i am even attaching the message which i am receiving daily.

DHL Software Systems are designed in such a worst manner that, I had to submit KYC documents for 1 week multiple times every day, do a manual export - merge of documents each time their system does not accept. The customer care people are very good but the company is pathetic & their systems are designed to delay couriers to fill gaps of their inefficiencies. If you have any option other than DHL, pls go for it but not this company. I have used courier services in 10+ countries but never had a single experience this bad.

Utterly disgusted and irate at the lack of care shown by DHL when delivering my parcel. If I could give zero stars on this review, I would.


On Monday 4/7/22 my parcel($2500 Coat) was delivered to the wrong address in Potts Point. Some lowlife at the wrong address signed for my coat and stole it!


DHL Delivery Receipt showing name and signature of the thief is attached.


I have been informed that DHL outsources deliveries to third party couriers. My coat was delivered by a third party courier who obviously didn't check for correct delivery address nor the ID of the receiver!


Zero accountability shown by rude and dismissive DHL Customer Care staff who keep giving me lies and the runaround.


I have been informed that the courier who delivered my parcel only works on Monday. Apparently I have to wait until next Monday 11/7/22 to allow the courier to attempt a retrieval and redelivery - really?!?!


Failing that, I will be offered reimbursement or replacement from the shipper. I cannot receive a replacement coat as my coat has sold out completely.


The next time I have a choice of courier when shopping online, I shall NEVER use DHL.


Thanks DHL for NOTHING - literally.

Worst service DHL COURIERS AND THEN CUSTOMER CARE.


I got my courier from India(Delhi) to New Zealand 14th Feb, 2022


My dress at the top of the box was torn and few things were missing worth$200 and boxes were repacked by DHL.


I called them and send emails lots of time but their staff is well trained to manipulate the complaints and annoy the customer so much that he/she customer give up .


Same happened with me . Iknow this review will also not work but still I want to do this.

We imported some product using DHL from HK to india. it was very good till few months ago. very smooth and reliable. but the horror story start this time.


since past good experience was in my mind I chose DHL and paid premium prices to them but then the crap begins, in clearance they said value evidence is needed.


we provided all of the value evidences, invoice, payment proof, order copy, online price, we also confirmed in written letter to customs that the price is correct.


but after few days to my surprise, they replied customs has decided to to appraise my price 30X more than what actually it is. 30 times more.


are you serious?


also DHL is so shameless that it is asking us to proceed with clearance with 30x more price. crap heads.


Delhi clearance team people is treating customers like customers are their slaves not god. pathetic pathetic.


they should rename them self to torture service instead of support service. no support has been provided by them and instead the person was talking like I am a thief and trying to steal something off him.

Very rude and unprofessional customer service from DHL Express in India. It's been over 20 days and I have not received my shipment even after paying penalty and providing all the paper work they asked. The customer service in DHL Express in India is so rude. They don't answer queries and simply hangup the phone. When after repeatedly asking for the call back from the clearance team they don't call back and keep making me pay penalty.


My shipment is still has a status of "Clearance Pending" It says the shipment is help pending clarification of goods evaluation. There is no guarantee if the shipment will ever get delivered.


WORST WORST WORST service. very rude and unprofessional customer service and have been misguiding so far causing further delay on my shipment. Never ever use DHL Express service if you ever plan to ship items to India.

We had hand over to shipment in Ahmedabad Transit point logistic on 18-april-2022 till date not received in Chicago.


We had paid DHL courier charges but Transit point logistic team is not deposit ( credit )the money in agents/ agency aacount.

Used this courier when shipping items from abroad. These guys are worse than government office(which is loads better now). Each individual office has its own rules.


Even after multiple communications and a visit to the local office, still unable to get the item. Central customer service and local office dont communicate well and they also make up new forms to attach. These guys have zero sense of customer service. Please use a different courier to save you heart burn.
