Dena bank are easy to available in local area. Dena bank is a one of the largest bank sector of india. I have Dena bank account last 3 years.


Dena bank have a many number of account in there local branch of local public. Staff was small and the work load is very high. Dena bank staff is very helpful to me. There behavior is excellent. Bank staff is help people to filling there form and gives information.


I have agriculture loan of Dena bank last two years. Bank information and service is great. I am satisfied of Dena bank service and staff. I have not a single issues with Dena bank of my experience.

I am the employee of this bank which is in halol near baroda, when I saw my bank location and infra structure it is not as good as some many other bank like BOB, PNB, SBI and when


I talk about their customer why do you open your account in this bank they always said because of their service towards their customers. In spite of small premises there are a lot of customers and on an average we open 10 account everyday in the branch there is no pending works normally and staff is very cooperative and helping.


Dena bank is always there for people.

Dena bank service is very good. I have account in this bank and I am satisfied that my money is save and secure at proper place. The people working in this bank are very helpful.


It is wide spread bank which has many branches across mumbai. The type of service provided is little of old age but it is very well done and I am satisfied with this bank. It is getting bigger and bigger as the day is passing.


The atm service is very good and there is sms service on every transaction done in your account which is very important.

I'm from Vadodara, and the staff is really helping here.


I read the other people's review also. They all said not good staff. But I can say, in Gujarat the service of Dena bank is really good. I also went for a halol branch. The branch is not in a good condition. But the staff is really so kind. And thats what it matters. They opened my account in just one day.


Highly satisfied.


Dena Bank people should be imprisoned

One of the employee of Dena Bank Ltd forged my father cheque of Rs 15000 to Rs 1050000. And similarly a cheque of Rs 1239 to Rs 10239 and Rs 2456 to Rs 20456.


Please note these are the approx numbers. I also met the regional head of Raipur Region he said we did it, what can you do? This was his comment. Banks like these should not exists.

I am using Dena Bank for the last 3 years. It has provided me outstanding services.


The staff of Dena Bank are so cooperative comparative to other banks. The officers are also ready to take their time off and help you in all your queries.


Their service is quick and a good. This bank has been very convenient to visit as it is very close to the place I live.

ITS STRANGE TO KNOW FROM A BRANCH MANAGER OF DENA BANK -NEPEAN SEA ROAD -MUMBAI BRANCH THAT THE NEW FORMAT CTS2010 CHEQUE BOOKS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS BY END OF APRIL WHEREAS ALL OTHER BANKS HAVE ISSUED THE SAME.


DO YOU NOW NEED TO CONTINUE WITH SUCH BANK.

I received my dena bank internet banking ID and Password almost after 25 days from the application date....Wow what a customer service. Look at the other banks who make sure customer gets it within 5-7 days. I dnt know where Dena bank stands in this age of Information Technology. I rate you in this aspect 1 out of 10.


I used this ID and password to login to the dena portal. They way the site is designed it is not much appealing to any customer. I would rate the site as 5 out of 10 in terms of appearance.


Online Key Board is a good facility. Rate 8/10. Now Account statement downloading. There is no PDF facility.........I wonder....I am really shocked to my death. I rate you 0 out of 10 here. In 2013 you people do not have PDF facility available.???? Oh God. Dena Bank you are useless. Now look at the Baking Experience. I visited Dena Bank branch in Shivaji Housing Society, Pune - 411053 Branch. Look at the comments thrown at me by Branch Staff 1. Please do not come on saturday to Update your bank passbook. ........ I am shocked. I work from Monday to Friday and I only get Saturday to perform my banking operations and Dena staff says do not visit Bank to update passbook on saturday. What a pathetic way to treat customer. 2. Now next one is great statement. I visited Dena Branch in 2nd week of December 2012 and requested for a cheque book for 2013. As per the RBI guidelines new format of cheques need to be issued from 1st of Jan 2013. Dena Bank told me that they do not know when they are going to get new format cheque books and it is not possible to get in next 15-20 days. I was again shocked to see such apathy. Though later on RBI revised the dates of acceptance of old cheques....but I was shocked to see what would have happened in case RBI did not do so. Dena you should look in Mirror......you appear as a Flintstone. 3. Next is an Atom Bomb 70KN power. I went to Dena Bank to ask about home loan. Bank Manager Told me that Dena is offering home loan at concessional rate of 10.75 %. I was shocked to hear that...as 2 days before that I enquired with Axis, HDFC, ICICI and all were offering at 10.5%


and SBI was offering 10.35 %(like Legal processing etc.)...these charges were some where around Rs 60,000 to 70,000. I was dead. I can not rate you on this because I am just DEAD. I knew Axis charges some where near Rs 11,700/- SBI charges around Rs 7,500/- if not less. Wow Dena you are a pathetic Bank.

*DENA BANK is a paradise of FOOLS. everybody is posing very busy BUT infact most of them ARE HEADLESS.


NAGAR NIGAM se bhi bekar halat hai. EVEN high officials are irresponsible. Every year it is becomong more WORST. TAKE cARE oF your MONEY.SOON it may be TAKE OVER by some OTHER BANK . presently NO BANK is READY.


EVEN General manager is also indulged in CORRUPTION & suspended on account of .this charge. CHAMCHO ki bharmar hai , bewkoofon ki bahar hai VERY soon it is going to bankrupt.


I know some people whose money was NOT paid to to their LEGAL heirs .everywhere court cases are filed. dena bank take the accomodation on rent & donot honour the agreement. many times dont pay rents & prefer litgations. even they are taking the services of GUNDAS because basically dena people are also like that. officers are like CHAPRASI / no knowledge no brain// they are guided by BABUS.

  3. Customer care is big joke try calling their customer care I bet you will have quite a fun talk to guys who have zero idea about banking or customer care




  4. No one is ready to take resposibiity every keeps passing ball to other departments




  5. I must applaud them in one respect that they are really innovative in giving excuses






These are all my personal experiences with the bank.So guys before you bank with them think atleast 100000000000000000 times. It's bad bad bank they gave me so much trouble that I couldn't pay my employess on time for 2 months even when I had money at bank. Customer is the least important thing at dena bank. They cut $10 on every wire transfer without giving any details about what sort of charges are they?

Yes I fully agree, Dena Bank staff is very co operative. I am also associated with this bank for the last 20 years and have no complaint.


Unlike Private Banks, there are no hidden charges. Of course, time bound between 10 am to 2.30 pm can cause problem to some business men.


Still we can have full faith on these nationalized banks. And to my experience they have really improved their customer service. Its very prompt now a day even you can get a good service after their scheduled time. Debit card is also a privilege for account holders.


But these nationalized banks should keep it in mind that this is just the beginning of their service. If they don’t keep on improving, will not be able to compete with private banks. Only interest with these banks to associate is just ‘NO HIDDEN CHARGES’ and don’t feel like cheated.

A financer by name Devkaran Nanji started a bank called Devkaran Nanji Bank in 1938 which later on became Dena Bank and was nationalised by the then Prime Minister Late Mrs. Gandhi in 1969 since then it has came a long way.


I hold a Savings Account with this bank since 1996. The first reaction for the public at large would be that 'don't bank with a nationalised bank'. But, my first hand experience in comparison to all of them is excellent. To operate a Savings Account one is required to keep a minimum balance of Rs. 500/-. Usually, its being said that nationalised bank don't give an ear to their customers after banking hours but my experience in this respect is totally of contrary kind. I always used to visit my bank after banking hours to solve queries and to everyone's surprise they would respond very decently. Whether, I want to withdraw cash or in need of demand draft all services are prompt, no unnecessary wastage of time. For, issuing a demand draft maximum time taken by them is an hour. The commission rates for demand draft, telegraphic transfer, etc. are highly competitive, for a demand draft upto Rs. 1,000/- they would charge Rs. 5/- to an account holder and Rs. 7.50 to a non-account holder, for a demand draft from 1,001/- to Rs. 5,000/- they would charge Rs. 10/- to an account holder and Rs. 15/- to a non-account holder and so on. Cheque Book charges are Re. 1/- per cheque. For, Forex transactions they are costly; for a draft upto $200/- they would charge you Rs. 180/- while State Bank of India charges Rs. 110/-, so on this front they are costly. They have ''ATM'' machines at very few of their total number of branches.


Having a loan from the bank or getting your account sanctioned for overdraft, cash credit, etc. isn't hectic. From the day when the account holder submits all the required legal documents with the application, within 15 days the account holder receives the sanctioning letter (subject to the concerned authority is satisfied). Even if the concerned authority doesn't sanction the loan they would furnish satisfactory explanation and would further guide you.


Investing in shares of Dena Bank would be quite risky. NPA of this bank is heading towards Rs. 1,000 crores (as stated in the prospectus for IPO) the bank are taking steps to minimise the NPA but doesn't seem to be working. The Government of India holds 70% of total share capital, near about 13% is being hold by the public at large and remaining is being held by financial institutions. So, to be globally competitive they would be required to be thoroughly professional.
