I bought Alienware on May 18, 2017. The purchased warranty expired on May 18, 2018. The cost of this laptop is 4 times the average. My personal experience was very bad plus it seems worst when I think about the money I have invested.
From very beginning I used to get annoyed by Dell's already installed softwares that showed up errors from time to time regularly almost every day. After many months of tolerating it, I finally got rid of them by uninstalling some Dell softwares.
The screen off mechanism had completely messed up. I later found out that anything that made the screen off ( eg. sleep, hibernate or even screen off itself) could crash the computer unpredictably. From Jan 2020 it crashed every 7-8 days.
.After around 20-30 crashes, in a period of 6 months it crashed permanently making the laptop dead forever. The repairing guy suspected about motherboard failure. I consulted so many engineers including dell authorised centres but did not get any solution. A repairing firm in Bangalore(ErrorKart) tried contacting Dell for new motherboard but they did not get any success.
After that I too tried contacting dell support, they quoted me 7K for motherboard, and 3K for visit. However I found out that the motherboard they quoted is not for Alienware. I sent them email asking, but they stopped responding.

Overall I regret the decision of buying such expensive laptop. I have gone through so many complaints online including dell community forums and it seems there are some manufacturing defects with this laptop especially with motherboard or processor. And worst part is that they are still selling it openly.
This page recently came into my notice that more than 50% of customers have been complaining about this laptop since 2016.
