Dabur Amla Hair Oil Reviews

Excellent hair Oil
May 18, 2015 06:29 PM 22253 Views

My wife used to apply Parachute Coconut hair oil to her hair but her hairs were thinning. Then some one told her to try Dabur Amla Hair Oil.

She gave it a try about a year ago and since then her hair have stopped thinning and have become shiny and bouncy too. The amla extracts nourishes the scalp and makes hair soft, silky and shiny. She is quiet happy with this Oil and our entire family has started using it. Very good Product.

I used this Dabut Amla hair oil for almost one year in my college days. This hair oil gives pleasant amla smell and does not get sticky to the hairs. It makes the hairs shiny and gives proper nutrition to the hairs. I never felt any kind of issue while using this hair oil.

The amla extracts nourishes the scalp and makes hair soft, silky and shiny. It does not contains any toxic or harmful chemicals and therefore improves the condition of hair. It is well suitable for every kind of hair and makes hair strong. I have had a great experience with this hair oil and i'm fully satisfied with the quality of this product.

Dabur Amla Hair Oil
Apr 23, 2015 10:18 PM 22936 Views

Dabur is a very old and largest Indian FMCG and Healthcare product company, it was founded in 1884 by a physician in West Bengal. Dabur has got several fast moving consumer goods and among them Dabur Amla Hair Oil is one of them.

Since years I was using normal coconut oil and at a very early age my hair started greying and becoming thin. I was very tensed and depressed and was not able to understand what should I do to stop my hair problem.

Couple of years ago I went to my in-laws place and saw all of them using Dabur Amla Hair Oil, their hairs were so long, black and strong. I asked my wife's cousin mother about the secret behind it, she said they are using Dabur Amla Hair Oil since ages and it keeps their hair long, black and strong. So I thought of using it and started applying it, I saw some changes in my hair after applying it for some months. Now my hair fall has reduced and has started shinning.

Thanks to Dabur Amla and to my aunt.

Wonderful hair oil.

I was using coconut oil from years. I have few Gray hairs too. Last summer when I was visiting my native I noticed that my aunt and her daughters have very beautiful black hair.

I asked her secret of long, black, silky, strong hair. She said "nothing special just dabur amla hair oil". She has been using this product from her childhood. She is 49 years old now and she doesn't have a single gray hair. I decided to use it on my kid's hair so that he will not suffer from premature gray hair problem in his young age.

I am using it too.It is packed with the natural goodness of Amla(Indian gooseberry) that gives a natural shine. I found my hair growing long and it slows down the hair graying process but it smells too strong and my hair smelled of it even after washing with a shampoo. This product gave me good results I am impressed. Price is also very low.

Highly recommended for everyone.

Used a few times but switched

I used this hair oil a few times but wasn't completely happy with the results. I have fine hair and found it just left my hair looking and feeling flat.

I switched to Pro Naturals Hair Oil and recommend it over this product. It adds incredible shine, doesn't weigh hair down and protects against heat damage.

I actually went and bought the entire line of Pro Naturals Hair Care and am completely in love with it.:)

My favorite oil!
Feb 07, 2014 02:42 AM 75714 Views

This hair oil seems to be pretty popular lately. I have been using the pro naturals argan oil for the longest time and I have to recommend it because it is effective.  Leave-in treatment gently smooths the cuticles and helps fortify hair that is prone to breaking and split ends. It also helps strengthen the hair that's prone to breakage, splitting or snapping off.

It gently smooths the hair and form a protective mist on surface, against heat damage. Reduces friction from brushing and helps prevent further damage.

Leaves hair healthy, shiny and resilient and provides heat protection against electric hair tools.

Very good hair oil for those who are looking for Sarso oil for their hair and also not want to use those sticky sarso oils.

Positives:

1.Hair become very shiny.

2.Dandruff effective too - that I noticed.

3.Very light as compared to other Sarso based oils.

Negatives:

1.Not a good fragrance but ok from my side.

2.Little-bit sticky.

Overall, I recommend this hair oil to everyone who is searching for some good mustard hair oil with amla extracts too.

Thanks.

Overbearing smell and hardly any results
Jun 20, 2012 09:49 AM 32474 Views

I tried it and I honestly could NOT take the smell. It became overbearing and after a month my husband was practically begging me to stop using the stuff! Good thing I stopped too because I was beginning to get scalp rash.

I'm currently using Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan oil and it smells so much better, it's lighter on my hair and I'm definitely seeing an improvement in strength, shine and growth.

I'll be sticking to Argan oil from now on

Great oil for daily use!

I didnt use this hair oil, I used the dabur amla gold hair oil. After using this, my hair showed tremendous shine and silkiness, it was amazing!

Did you know that olive oil works this way too? Extra virgin works the best!Overall, its an oil worth buying, it has good quality. And blah whatever blah.

If its pure its amazing, if its not it sucks!
Jul 28, 2011 11:57 PM 41004 Views

Ok so my hair I started using oils like 6 months ago because my hair was damged and my mother suggested using oils, I finished my vatika enriched olive oil, the olive oil didnt do much, it did make my hair soft but didnt stop hair fall. I went to my local indian store with my mom, and I saw this amla oil, my mom said she used it and she got great results with it when she was my age.

So I used it, the smell was GROSS AND EW!!!  the next morning I washed my hair, my hair was falling more and more, but it did make my hair shiney and black, but whats the point of my hair is just gonna fall, I told my mom the problem she put some oil down the drain and told me this isnt pure because there were chunks of amla and stuff. I would reccomend this, IF IT WAS PURE!!  But its just old gross rotten then no, dont ever buy amla oil from any indian store, try vatika enriched coconut oil or vatika almond enriched oil if u have damaged hair. I hope my review helps :)

Amla Oil - No More Smell
Mar 29, 2011 04:51 PM 35442 Views

For those of you who can't stand the smell of Amla oil like me and but like using the oil - Amla gold is the alternative. It's amla oil with out the smell and without stinging the eyes. I have been told that it is good for hair re-growth but am yet to be convinced and would love to hear from people who have experienced hair regenerating from using the oil.

For now I will carry on using Amla Gold is it makes the hair appear healthy and shiny - what the heck I'll rub some on my face too.  I am still looking for a solution to save my pillows from being coated at night time.

Better than american made hair products

This oil is excellent, my hair through out 7, 8, 9th grade was horrible you could mistake it for a horrible old broom, my sister had bought this in 2009 I didn't try it at the time I've been using this for the past two months counting down from november of 2010, this amla oil is "very very very nice" it prevents  my hair from spiting,

It's becoming softer and softer and I can even see the shine in low lights its proof this product from India is mind blasting.

About this product I started to using it Nov 1 2010, its been 3 months.Yes I can see quite the diffrence mostly non splitting 1st because 7, 8, 9th grade I had countless amounts of spilt ends mostly from

straightening my hair so much, eventually I trimmed it, now I only have a few spilt ends.

2nd thing yes I can see the shine, even in low lighting and when its wet.

3rd the feeling of my hair, yes its quite soft but will be softer more and more

from using this magnificent'Indian Hair Oil'

Overall all great oil, I dont mind the smell at all, thats all there is too it.

I've never had problems with hair loss but it helps with hair loss too!

Stay away from it,,,

Product:               Amyway Persona Amla Hair Oil - 200 ml

Price    :               66Rs.

One of my friend is a Amyway "Business Owner" - euphemism for sales person. anyway she persuaded me to buy the product. so I bought it. regret it though . 66 Rs/- waste.

My hair was super soft before I used this oil.  I have fine hair which is ultra soft.

I thought this oil would strengthen my hair but it has made the texture of my hair rough like "coconut fibre".  I started using Parachute hair oil again . it is way better now.

OMG! and the oil STINKS . like real bad. that cheap smell. not at all sophisticated . very bad smell. the smell does not go away even if you wash your hair.

and If you wear the oil over night it would stain your pillow cover, .  and did I mention hair loss. I know 100 hair falls a day is normal but this seems to push hair fall to the next level.

Dont buy the product unless you get a kick out of cheap smell.:)

I'm a gora and dont really know much about such things but a friend brought me back some of this amla stuff from India and iv gotta admit I noticed immediate results. Iv only used it a few times and my hair feels thicker, fuller and just generally healthier.

While I wasnt a huge fan of the scent at first I must say it has grown on me and I dont find it offensive in any way. Its also nice that you dont need to heat it or anything.. As I havnt had to purchase any yet Im afraid I cant say much about the cost but I guess theres probably a markup outside the sub-continent (which one would expect).

All I can say is I hope theyr are exporting this stuff internationally because I will most definitely be looking for more when my bottle runs out. I also wont hesitate to recommend this product to my (gorey) friends.. :)

Reliable and excellent oil
Jun 26, 2009 03:48 PM 32476 Views

I have been using this oil from past 7 years. Trust me! it's wonderful oil. It helps in hair growth, add shine to your hairs. Once I tried using other oil, then my hairs starts falling and became very dull. Then, again I started using this oil and I never tried any other oil on my hairs. My suggestion is apply it overnight and wash your hairs in morning. And amla is good for hairs so hairs becomes shiny.

I am using it every alternate days. It enhances hair growth. I have recommended this oil to many of my friends and now they are also using this oil. It's really worth.Once you'll apply for a regular period you yourself can feel the difference in your hair's health:). The oil is not even that much sticky. You can wash it without any smell or stickyness. This is not even that costly as others oil are in market. You can buy as your requirement. It's cost is Rs. 85/300ml bottle.
