I recently visited DMart at DLF Road, Begur Road, Bangalore (GSTIN: 29AACCA8432H1ZM) and had a very unpleasant experience. While standing in the billing queue, I noticed a customer ahead of me who had no products with him while his wife was still shopping. I politely questioned how he could hold a place in the queue without any items, but before the customer could respond, the billing executive, Mr. Dhanush N P, unnecessarily interfered.
Instead of addressing the situation professionally, Mr. Dhanush started arguing with me, insisting that billing would be done in order of who stood in the queue first, regardless of whether they had products ready for checkout. When I further inquired about this approach, he responded rudely and dismissively, showing no courtesy or respect towards a customer. His unprofessional behavior and unwillingness to handle the matter politely were unacceptable.
I would like DMart management to clarify whether this is the standard protocol for handling billing queues and if employees are trained to argue with customers rather than assist them. Customer service should be a priority, but such behavior leaves a negative impression.
I hope DMart takes this feedback seriously and ensures that staff members are trained to be professional, polite, and customer-friendly.
I have attached the executive Mr. Dhanush N.P images while he was arguing with me for your reference.
If it is unsolved, please let me know to go further legally.
