It's a simple to use and large iron box with numerous features such as self-cleaning, steam burst, and water spill, among others. And I recently purchased this iron, which is in excellent condition. So far, I haven't had any problems. It's light and simple to move around. Its size is also compactable, making it convenient.

I bought this company iron from a store in 2018. it was an automatic electric iron, at the time of purchasing the iron, I was told by the shopkeeper that it has a 1 year warranty. I bought the iron and come home. I used this iron for 2 months at that time I could not see any problems in the iron but shortly after that, the iron stop it heating then I talk the iron and went to that store and I call the problem. The shopkeeper does iron repairs but after a week the iron problem again I talked the iron back to the store but the store keeper didn't repair my iron, then I contact customer care of this company, but the company did not solve any problem.

This Iron is very attractive and useful. This is a low charging electric iron. If your side the electricity is no more voltage current then other iron may be not worked well. But the Crompton iron can be used in very low voltage current. It makes hit immidiate and goes for long time. You may use it earlier but the new products of this iron is easy and simple. It a round switch on it that make it's power high or low. If you have not buy this iron then you can try it for one time. Your money would be not waste.

I bought the product steam iron in Arpil 2017 from Crompton and I was thinking that it would be a value for money. But the steam iron didnt even work 5 months properly and there were issues. I called customer care and it was fixed by them. But then again after 4-5 months some issues came in the product and I had to take it to their service station cause guess what crompton now no longer provide service at your home. If the product gets fault then you take it to service station who will fix the issues in next 4-5 days and then you can collect back from them - 2 days wasted.

After that just 2 days back, on the day of Diwali, there was a short circuit in the iron while using that and guess what I again have to take this amazingly non user friendly product to their service station to get it fixed and again ill have to waste two days.

So this what happens when you buy product from Crompton, it will not run properly for 5-6 months, you will have to take it to their service station every now and then, waste time, money and energy and their customer care 18004190505 will not even talk to you properly and with that the number which they provide you for service station would be not reachable or switched off. They gave me number of star ad -7530997560 which is not connecting for complaint number 1811058411

They are just their to take the money and screw you after, Not at all value for money and crompton is not the same company which can be trusted anymore. I would advice to not to buy their products.

This electric iron from crompton is one of the worst products to buy and use.The only good thing in it would be its handy use and a little okay appearance, except this everything from durability to its quality is just bad.Its been just 5 months since I got this product and now after 5 months it's dead now and its not at all working.At first 2 months it was good working but then in the 3rd month it started to get sparky and some burnt smell was coming out of it. But still it was working not for 2 months, after 5 months it is dead now.I just wasted money and time into this product. This crompton electric iron product totally not worth.

Its very good. I have purchased it recently and it is weightless and easy to handle.its size is also compact able so its handy. it has also been given warranty for 1 year.you have many colours in it.you also have steam iron collection.so try it out guys.

I am writing this review after using the iron 2 months. The iron is okay but not so amazing. It's cord is very durable and the build quality of the iron is fine. It does get heated very fast. The price of iron is very affordable as compared to other's and the weight of iron is very light so you can ironing the clothes according to your use. While doing iron may be the clothes will burned of you are not alert for 1min. It is a nice product for whom who want without steam. LED light do its job nicely. The knob is working well. It is a good product from a reputed company.

I bought Crompton greaves ACGSI-PYRO steam iron from amazon.in before 7 month. Now a days it was become useless because of worst product. When I buy it in beginning it was very good in working but after 3 month when my wife is doing iron on my clothes it smell very bad and it was coming out from iron. Then she stopped and told me about it therefore I decided to give in service center and I gave. After repairing 2 week same problem arises. Because of continues problem I decide to buy another company iron. Ultimately I am very disappointed with your product and as well as your service. So I suggest to not purchase this iron never.

Hey, guys so today I will share my experience with this product that is Crompton Greaves Presto Steam Iron.Actually, I was searching for a steam iron for my daily usage.So I went to the nearest electronic and home appliances store to buy an iron.I didn't had any choice at that point of time so I was randomly searching for a steam iron that will come under my budget.Then I found this product.It was looking good and the weight was light.It was looking attractive also the price was under my budget.So I purchased this product.After the first usage, I was totally disappointed with the results.It was consuming too much of electricity and also there was an issue with heating.It was taking a long time to heat up the device .Also after some time, the handlebar starts heating which made me frustrated.After a month of usage, the device stopped working and though there was no service centre near my area so I didn't get a replacement also.So, guys, I will not recommend this product to anyone because it will be a waste of money and also the device is not durable.So, guys, this was my experience with this product and I hope it will help peoples and if you have any queries then please comment below.Thank you

This CG- SD dry iron by Crompton Greaves has been serving me since 8th April, 2015 which I bought from D-Mart store. Its a basic iron designed for the sole purpose of basic ironing and not fancy ironing. It performs its main function quite well for the price charged by its maker.(Rs. 735 mrp but Rs.449 @ d mart store). But, what stands out is its handle design. Its handle is designed keeping in mind the'chalta hai'( anything will do) attitude of indians, pakis& banglas and so I titled my review accordingly. The front part of the handle looks'undernourished' or as if it has been nibbled by some rodents like mice. They should have made the front part of handle as healthy looking and'fuller' as the middle part like they did it in CG- LD Plus model. Overall, good functioning but with funny& incomplete looking handle design. Hope, my review is fair and just with maximum observations.

This iron is the best dry iron .it is alos so light weight .so we can carry by our luguage. .It has adjustable nobs so we can maintain heat on diffrent clothes like cotton , nylon , sikl , wool etc .the styling and handling is so easy and good we can place any wheara and iron very easy to use .And the price is also afordable.Also we have any problem the company gives quick and good service to costomers .

User friendly

The iron is very easy to hold & use. It heats up within 2 minutes & can iron mostly all type of cloth we wear. Maneuvering the iron over the cloth is very easy & smooth.

Durability

We are using the iron for the last one year but it is still in good condition & is serving its purpose very well.

Handy

The iron not too heavy to use & can be carried to any place. The wire is long enough so there is no problem in pressing long clothes.

Style and design

Our iron in sky blue in colour and it looks very nice. The design of the indicator light is also good. The base of the iron is coated with Teflon so there is minimal frictional resistance.

Support

Support of the company is very good. If there is any proplem them we cam give it to the shopkeeper & he will solve the problem free of cost if the iron is in warranty.

Crompton greaves is a brand which has a rich experiance in the field of home appliences. I bought cg hdc iron box of crompton greaves last month.

It is a light weight iron box with colours white, blue and grey. Its very easy to use and hold. The design is very good and it has a covering of full body with plastic so we can use it so easily without touching our hands on the hot metel under.

It has got 2 led indicatior with red and green colour and a controller to adjust the heat according to the cloth we use.

It comes with a teflon 2 layer coating so it is nonstick surface and very easy to clean.

It has a 2 year warrenty also.

This one is a good choice if you are looking for a light weighted iron.

Hello Friends, I have purchased a crompton greaves dry electronic iron last two months back. Crompton company offers various electronic appliances when compared with other brands in the market.

Product quality: The iron working is normal in starting and the wire is an inferior quality which gets cracks. The thred has been wounded on it is removed which can easily get shocked.

Product Packing: The packing of the product is not good quality and its wire is damaged can cause electric shock.

Service: The iron has 2 years of warranty but no use because its plate got rustings at its edges and it can be used not more than six months.

The range of features: The features of the iron are not having quick warm and it can't press different type of clothes like silk, cotton, jeans.

Value for money: This iron is not valued for money and handling of this product is very difficult while ironing the clothes.

I bought Crompton Greaves CG LD plus dry model Iron. I trust this brand and heard a lot of positive reviews for the same. The product is in warranty period of 2 years. After one year, I started facing problem with the wire of iron. It was breaking and detaching from the connecting point of iron and was giving shocks while we were touching it. So I called their customer care representative for the same, reported the issue and requested them to visit home to diagnose & solve the problem. But he refused saying that inspite of being in warranty period, I have to pay Rs. 250 for his home visit. They made fake promise while selling the product that pick up of product from home facility is available during warranty period if any problem arises. Style and design of product is good and is easy to use. But somehow it is dangerous too as the quality of the product used eg. wire, is not of good quality and often creates problem. Customer care service is very poor.

I am using this iron last three months and I bought this iron from a showroom. This iron has also auto cut feature and ease of use. It's everything good. I disappointed because this iron is more time taken for heating and high electricity is consume. It heating plate was dark within one month and my many clothes are strain and auto cut feature does not proper work. I went to their showroom but they did not exchange it but made it. This iron is good work at a present time.
