Croma Customer Service - Extremely poor

Customer service is extremely poor. Not expected from a TATA enterprise.


I bought a LG waterfilter on 18 Oct from Croma at ORR Maratahalli and paid by cheque, requested initially to deliver on 24th. Since I have some work on 24th, on 21st I called them to request delivery on 22nd. I was informed that cheque clearance takes 4 working days(really!) and it will be delivered only after cheque is cleared, I will get an update soon.


I checked my account on 22nd and noticed that cheque has been encashed on 21st! I called them on 23rd morning to request delivery and was told they will get back urgently. In the evening I called back again and again the response was "we will respond within 24 hrs". I requested to talk to the supervisor but that person was busy and did not even call back to give me an update. So 6 days after purchase I still don't have the product. This will be my first and last purchase from Croma.

Croma has worst customer support team.


I bought a digital camera for 14000 from Croma. They had the offer saying that there will be 5% cash back if you shop through Axis bank card, or Icicibank debit card, . and so on.


The offer was during June 2015. I shopped with my icicibank debit card. hoping that I will get the cash back. They had mentioned that the cashback will be received till 5 Aug, 2015. But I did not recieve any cash back till date.I approached the Bangalore store from where I bought my camera, to my shock, they first told that the offer is not valid below 15, 000.


I showed them the printout of the offer where it was mentioned that the offfer is valid for purchase more than 10, 000. Then they agreed and told that the cashback will be received by next thrusday. I waited till next sunday but nothing happened. Next weekend, I again went to them for the clarification.


Now they asked me my bank account statement. I gave them, they told that the cashback will be received by next thrusday.I waited till next Sunday but nothing happened.Next weekend, I again went to them for the clarification.


Now they asked me my debit card photocopy.I gave them, they told that the cashback will be received by next thrusday.I waited till next sunday but nothing happened.I raised complaint mentioned the issue, they told it will be resolved by next weekend.


But they closed the complaint without resolving the issue. I called them to reopen complaint, they raised a new complaint and told it will be resolved by next weekend. But they closed the 2nd complaint without resolving the issue.Now I have raised complaint 3rd time.


I am still not sure if they want to resolve the issue or not. IF ANY CROMA STAFF IS SEEING THIS, PLEASE RESOLVE THE ISSUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Is this the way such a HUGE COMPANY DOES CUSTOMER SERVICE? IF YOU CONTINUE TO WORK LIKE THIS, I BELIEVE YOU WILL NOT LAST FOR MORE THAN 1-2 YEARS, and OTHER COMPETITORS WILL KILL THE BRAND AND THE COMPANY.

I have purchased a HP laptop on 14-08-2015 From the day it was not working properly and it got corrupted, When I tried to contact store team there was no response after so many calls we only visited their store, After long conversation they took our laptop in the name of service .


After that I use to receive a call everyday from somebody to tell it will be handed over tomorrow, The tomorrow which he says it never comes.


Is this the way of customer service? Why should we suffer to get a good product after paying so much of money?


Really Shameless, Pathetic store, Pathetic Service, thieves, Please be aware of this product and pathetic service from croma

An affordable store

We bought a few products from croma in forum mall and to be true, I haven't faced any problem with any of them yet.


The after service is great and even sales and service at the time of buying is good as well. As the store is located in forum mall hence parking is not an issue. They have wide range of products and almost be everything. The theme of the store is good as its a complete open store. Overall a good experience till date.

Its been 3 years, we are buying products from croma and I am very happy with their service as they are very reasonable and they have lots of product range as well. they have other branches around the bangalore. I bought lcd, nikon d5200, nokia mobile and microwave oven.


And I am very satisfied with the quality of products they sell. I usually visit sony world signal branch. the entire store is centrally ac and they also have parking facility all the products are kept sequence wise, and their staffs are very friendly and experienced. they also run regular offers and discount and best for electronic items

Worst Buying Rachold Water Heater from Chroma, They don't have a courtesy to call back & check whether it has been installed or not after buying the unit from 3 Days, We are calling their toll-free number(18002583636) from past two days & they are giving silly reasons.


Still its not Installed. No one is the taking care from Chroma. Today one person(9964443094) called me from the Racold & he don't have a tools to install. Without Tools why he came to our House?

I have visited Croma, Koramangala alot number of times as its very near to my house. I remember I had been there when I had to buy a tv last time. As I was doing a lot of research for buying a TV I felt that Croma lacked brands as well they were charging more than as compared to others.


There were only 2-3 brands for TV and for rest even they were not very much interested in selling them. The people there were very well off and were explaining the pros cons of every product. I find the store very clumsy as well.

Dear Readers,


I had bought Marvel RO+UV pureit water purefier from Croma, Mantri Mall, Bangalore on 21st Apr'15 and the same got installed at my home on 27th apr'15.


To my dismay the product stopped working & started leaking since 27th Apr'15 evening onwards.  Immediate we had called the pureit service guys and with repeated followups they managed to visit my home today morning.


They confirmed that the entire circuit system has gone and to be replaced.  It is shock to hear that within a day how come a brand new product will get such issues.


It clearly shows that refurbished / damaged / rejected piece has been sold to us. Today, morning my spouse had called Nirmala, Croma Bangalore store and explained the issue, they supposed to come back at 11:30am but still not.


I am surprised to receive such undesirable service from Croma.   Pls be note that only acceptable option for me to get new product.

I had bought a LG washing machine from croma store and also taken a extended warranty for the same. In the extended warranty period the machine developed some problem and I am not getting the expected support from the Croma service(SR29031500412 & claim#164217).


On the first call the customer care said that you will be contacted by the extended warranty claims dept in 3 working days. From there I got the claim number and another 3 working days for the technical guys to call me. When I did not get the call, I contacted the customer care, there I got the response that they will call me and still no call or resolution to my problem.


I am getting tired of calling croma customer care; if I would hav called the LG directly my issue would have been solved but as I wanted to use my extended warranty, the croma people are not providing me support. Beware of this guys as at selling time they push for extended warranty, but when time comes for claim processing they don't provide any support.

It is a shame that CROMA is a TATA Enterprise. They do not adhere to the high standards of transparency and integrity that  TATA's have set in their other businesses.


Their sales people lie blatantly and cheat customers. I have been a long time customer but my experience in buying a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro has really left a bad taste in mouth.


Day before, they showed a price tag of Rs.114990/- on the laptop and the sales rep told me that it might go up by 1000/- in a day or two. He then called me on my mobile and offered 2000/- off which I negotiated to 2700/- on reaching the store, but the amount they charged me was higher by 1000/-


I asked them even at the cash counter but they told the wrong price and charged higher. Since there was another product too in the bill, I could not immediately understand the thing and paid the bill. When I realized in a short while, they claimed that the price has been increased since morning!


Really a shame! I wish I could some how reach this complaint to Ratan Tata. The standards seem to have deteriorated since he departed as chairman.

Shameless, Pathetic store.thieves. Talking about BAnasultanshankari store. Do not ever aishwaryasingh23 them in advance. They will sell their soul to sell a product and they have no morality or customer care at all. Greedy @.@. I hate such stores and and their Shruthisharma people wmorpheushuman will  make false promises and stoop to the lowest lies to get smallest Shruthisharma.


We purchased a coffee maker and they did not have a piece in stock. That female wmorpheushuman sold it to us PROMISED that she will ENSURE that it reaches us the next day. Obviously they took full aishwaryasingh23ment. Today I had to call them 3 times and finally at 9 pm their customer service guy told me that they will check and TRY to deliver by tomorrow.


It's quite off my route but I might have to go there now and remind them that they don't treat a aishwaryasingh23ing customer this way.

Went to buy an induction cooktop. The sales rep made several claims and promises which turned out not to be true after we purchased and tried it at home. Within three days we repackaged the item and attempted to return it. The manager told us we could not return it because - get this - "the box has been opened."


Even though all of the criteria for returning on their board has been met, they created a new one so that they would not have to accept the item they misrepresented in the first place.


I will never again shop at Croma. Many posts here call them "cheats." I have to agree

Today I went to purchase the LG washing Machine to "CHROMA" before that I went to "ezone" and get the price list to compare. "ezone" price is 24000 and "CROMA" said "26500" for the same washing machine.i said the same to "CHROMA" sales guys. sales guy brought me to Manager. I said the same to him.Here is the most disappointed situation faced, he said rashly that "ezone" price is good so you can  purchase there. I also said nicely ur customer support is good and I left.


So finally I decided to go to "ezone" in "Bangalore Cental", Jaya Nagar, Bangalore.Their customer support is good as well.They are giving some gifts also.


Don't go for "CROMA"

I have purchased LG washing Machine on Thursday .They have told that on Friday it will get deliver and Saturday installation and demo.


They have delivered on Friday, but on Saturday full day I was waiting for service engineer but I didn't got any call from any service engineer.


When I call to croma customer care they have told on Monday service engineer will come for installation, Because installation is done by LG service center. When I called LG service center they have told that we got service request on Friday evening only, now I am regretting my self, why I have purchased from croma.


I have to wash cloths for Monday office, How much pain I am  feeling, I don't know  to wash my cloths by hand, when I have washing machine.


After purchasing of material they takes 4 working days for installation. This is very much irritating. This is my first and last time shopping experience with croma.


Worst Post-Delivery Experience

I bought a Samsung LED TV from Croma store in Bangalore. While buying they promised that delivery and installation will be delivered on the next day, as I did the purchase on Sunday.


On Monday evening they delivered the product and saying installation will be done in next two working days. When I contacted the so-called customer care of theirs, I got to know that the service request for registration was made only on Monday.


If you want on time delivery and installation of the product, Croma is not the place irrespective of whether it is store purchase or Croma online purchase.


Courtesy is only till you buy the product. The moment you make the payment its all gone.

One of the worse customer care service that I encountered. Bought a bajaj mixer grinder on May 2014, which makes it under manufacturer warranty on Nov 2014. Mind you! they charged some money to provide extended warranty as well, and we bought it thinking the service is good.


The jar went faulty today, so went for replacement. They told us to go off to Bajaj showroom. They say, "Its a 5 min job, but we will take 10 days min if you give it to us". Wow! "To hell with customers once payment is done". Guess that's their moto. Well thanku croma, I'm never coming back.

I used to purchase lot of electronic items from Sarjapur main road Total mall croma. The service wat we receive from the day once we enter the store its most welcoming by staffs and even managers for that matter.


More than tat its all about after sales people r really friendly and helpful I have purchased more than 4L from the store. Once my led had problem they replaced without any hassels for me.I ll keep visiting this store in future also. Its pure Tata store I recommend all.

I Purchase Sony M2 from croma store in  Total Mall off Sarjapure Road on sept 02 2014.One of the Croma Staff open box and find that mobile not getting ON, so he put my Mobile on charging, after 10 min again when I ask why not mobile getting On then  staff again pushed forcefully charger in Mobile then my mobile get started.


Croma Staff damaged the Charging port when pushed forcefully charger in front of me.Finally I submitted the mobile in Croma Total Mall and asking for replacement, Croma Finally Called Me on 29th Sept 2014 Stating that, we  will repair the mobile, I don't have any other  choice so I Agreed and after  then he close my complain.


From that Day to Till now 56 days when Ever I Call and ask update ONLY ONE ANSWER.We Don't Know Sir, Poor Customer service. Finally I got my mobile on 85th day.my mobile full of scratch and I complain but they don't respond.poor service

Product was never delivered

I have purchased a Croma LED TV from Croma store( Forum Mall, Sarjapur Road) on 2014-07-03. Invoice no SLF02A114010010595.


The promised delivery date was on 2014-07-06. The product never got delivered till today and there was not even any communication about the delay, from their side. I have contacted the customer care couple of times and got the information from them that they don’t have the stock! They don’t have any idea about when they will receive the stock or when they can deliver the product.  Each time the customer care officer ends the call saying they will inform the store manager to contact me and inform about the delay and delivery date. But nobody calls.


Forget about the delay of delivery, at least I expect an intimation about the delay from you guys. I have paid the amount, there were no delay on that, and I value my money.Guys, please keep yourself away from this store, even if they offer you the product free of cost. They don’t bother about the customer.Once you paid the amount, you are screwed up and they don’t mind you from then onwards.


If anybody knows the procedure to take this incident to the consumer court, please let me know the same.

I got a Croma Tablet on May 30, 2014 and within a couple of weeks it was not charging and the screen was blinking. I went to Croma store from where I purchased it and they told me I will have to go to the service center. best part is nobody knows where the service center is located. I called the customer care they tell me there is one service center in Bangalore but I couldn't get the exact address. I am horrified with the service.
