Well I had to buy that stuff to clean ones teeth with again, better known as toothpaste. Sticking with my normal brand, but getting a different type. Finding once again in life that one can be satisfied with a fine Crest® product.
Crest® Multi-Care® is ADA (American Dental Association™) accepted. And with it fresh mint taste I approve as well.
The Product
From the container:
“Crest® Multi-Care® Sodium Anti-cavity Toothpaste fights cavities, protects against acids that cause cavities, fights tartar build up above the gum-line, foaming action helps carry protection to entire surface of teeth, leaves a long lasting clean feel, baking soda that leaves teeth feeling slick and smooth, leaves breath feeling refreshed…all in one toothpaste.”
“This special multi-care formula protects the entire surface of all of your teeth, even the places that are hard to reach. First it helps clean and protect your teeth against cavities, the acids that cause them and visible tartar where you can reach. Then its foaming action helps carry Crest Multi-Care® protection even to the tiny crevices and problem-prone places in between teeth. You can tell because your mouth will have a long lasting clean feel, your teeth will feel slick and smooth all over, and your breath will feel refreshed.”
I have to say here that is true. When I use this toothpaste my teeth do feel great, and my mouth does as well. My teeth are whiter looking and my breath is cool feeling. The fresh mint taste is not strong nor does it leave a bad after taste like some toothpaste can. I have been completely satisfied with this toothpaste. My entire family enjoys it. I have also found that my son is remembering to brush his teeth more, he says he likes the taste, and let me tell you, that is good enough for me.
“Crest® Multi-Care® has been shown to be an effective decay preventive dentifrice that can be of significant value when used as directed in a conscientiously applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care. It has been shown to reduce the formation of tartar above the gum-line, but has not been shown to have therapeutic effect on periodontal diseases. (Council on Scientific Affairs-America Dental Association.)”

Now I say brush your teeth the way you know works for you, but the package says: “Adults and children 2 years and older: Brush teeth thoroughly after meals or at least twice a day or use as directed by a dentist or physician. Do not swallow. Children under 6 years: To minimize swallowing use a pea sized amount and supervise brushing until good habits are established. Children under 2 years: Ask a dentist or physician.
Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.

Size and Cost
The size I purchased is net weight 6.2 oz (175g) plastic tube with screw on/off cap, white. The box is white with gold trim and the traditional “CREST” logo in the famous colors of red, royal blue, blue, royal blue and blue, (in that order per letter). At my local Wal-Marts I paid $2.47 (American Dollars). There are coupons available as well from time to time, so check those newspapers!
The tube is plastic and recyclable. Check your local area for recycling information.
How I Feel
I like this toothpaste and Crest® is a name that I know I can trust. They make a great product. And there are lots of choices to choose from. And like I said, if my son is looking forward to the taste then that is good enough for me. We all know how hard it is to get our kids to brush their teeth, and this one is working in my home.
The next time you are in the market for a toothpaste consider the Crest® products. They have several that I will buy and use in my home and will tell anyone the same.
I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.
God Bless!
