Any reviews will be helpful: Do they provide decent food and hotels, and stick to their commitments? Many thanks!

The tour guides do not give the gratuity to the drivers. They are keeping the money for themselves.


This company charge a big amount of money to their customers, they come to United States and never give it to the drivers.

Worst experience in my life working with Cox and Kings.


I joined the company because of its brand name in the market on 13dec2017.


I started working with the company slowly slowly I realised it had not job satisfication as per the enviroment of the office.


They used to give the good salary package but that was not on time later in 2019 they stopped giving our salary by giving an excuse to their employees that indian office had no funds to process the salary and the management also mentioned that by august 2019 they will process our salaries they have requested to u.k office to release the funds to process the salaries.


We waited as per the management request. Finally august month got over than they gave another excuse that there are some delays from u.k office than they said by sep2019 end they will process our salaries. Everytime the management gave us false commitment and promises to the employees of cox and kings and sister companies even though they were know everything but still they did not disclosed anything with their employee finally they declared in month of 11october2019 employees will receive their salary and on 30sep2019 management took a meeting and in meeting they told us not to come office from next day and salary will be processed whenever organisation will have funds and now today is 12january2021 we have not receive a single penny.


More than a worst experience what I have faced yet in my life worked with cox and kings.

In the U.S. we have heard about tge finial situation at C and K. My experiences have always been stellar. My last trip to India plus Nepal was not only outstanding but the trip advisor R. KAHN. DAILY MADE SURE ALL WAS GOING WELL. We are disabled Americans and believe me we needed a guardian angel on our shoulders. Please let me know how the Mumbai office is doing. My eyes are tearful and my heart is sad not knowing how this extremely talented youngman is doing. What a gift he is to the travel business.

I want to confirm you that there are a few tour and travel comapanies in jaipur and most of them works in only season time in summer but cox and kings is working whole year . Cox and kings comes in one of them Tavel company which arrange there tour in proper way . The company made of our documentation for visa purpose according to checklist . You can easily apply for visa and trust there ticket insurance and other things . Company gives the proper guidance to get the visa and submission for visa . And the convenience was good .

They will ensure your trip is ruined, will take entire amount in advance and not pay any of the amount to the hotels and will ensure you are in embarrassing situation.


Though they provide emergency contact numbers, the emergency contact will either be switched off or no one will respond to your calls and bother to look into the matter.


My personal visit to the trip from Oct 20th to Oct 24th 2019 - I have to repay all the entire amount for Hotels and Driver for the trip, though I have paid all the amount in advance in the month of June 2019. Cox and Kings did not pass any amount to the driver and the Hotels.

I booked a package with Cox And Kings for Tashkent(Uzbekistan) for two people. I had already paid the full amount before the trip. But I received a mail before the trip that the trip had been cancelled. I was asked to provide the bank account details for the refund which I provided immediately.


It has been a month after that and there has been no response on it.


I have been trying to reach Cox and Kings on all the phone numbers of the representatives I had and they have been extremely unhelpful. Now they say that the branch has closed down and the head office doesn't reply to the customer service phone number. I have mailed to the customer service multiple times but in vain.


No one is willing to help regarding the refund money. This is highly unprofessional from Cox and Kings. I urge everyone to not use their services because it seems like this is their way to steal people's money. This is the worst experience someone can have from a travel agency. Highly disappointed.

My parents Dr.Subrata Ray and Mrs AGAMANI Ray booked for Europe tour which was to depart on 6.10.19 from kolkata.They paid Rs.320000 PLUS visa charges.but they cancelled their trip at very short notice.we don t know when we will get back our money.seems like we have been cheated

Zero star....Extremly bad service, vox and kings Pune Bibewadi Ms.Deepika Anpat Store manager a women with no commitment, False Promises, and very slow in work, they don't give visa documents on time, they don't give payment receipts on time and not acknowledge about payment confirmation, they promise bags but they didn't give, once the got their money they don't care, travel handouts also they gave it on departure day itself...and if ask then she says comes from Head office....so that means people sitting head office are also lazy and hopeless. They give you wrong tickets and torture mentally to senior citizens, my parents travelled to europe and had a same problem and couple with them from jalgaon also had a same problem and they couldn't even board the flight on schedule date, this shows they are fraud. The whole team here is with no common sense and zero knowledge of customer service industry, I have never met such a irresponsible person like Ms.Deepika Anpat and Mr.Ranjan Murthy, he just talks and never answers his phone...you need to keep calling then he akes call...But even after compliant none of the senior officials like Mr.Tushar or mr.anil didnt contactvme back and takes this seriously and if not then I will understand in cox and kings everyone is same and its no point to write reviewWill never ever take cox and kings, highly disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent Swiss Glory tour by Cox and Kings. Well organized and arranged. We were a small NRI group. Food was generally good and the one we had after our Geneva trip was great!!


Tour Manager Hari showed professionalism.


Only sour tinge was the last minute crankiness by the driver of the coach who insisted on the iteneary and dropped us at CDG Airport when we requested to drop back at the hotel.

THE TOUR GUIDE MR. FARAD IRANI WAS NOT HELPFUL DURING THE WHOLE TRIP.(WAS VERY ARROGANT AND UN COURTEOUS)


HE DIDN'T RESPONDED TO OUR ANY CONVERSATION.


IT WAS A WHOLLY MISMANAGED TOUR BY THE GUIDE LIKE,




  1. AT NEW YORK WE WERE GIVEN THE BREAKFAST TIMING FROM 07:00 AM TO 08:00 AM BUT WHEN WE REACHED AT TIME 07:35 AM, THE BREAKFAST WAS OVER.




  2. OUR BREAKFAST TIMING WAS 07:00 TO 08:00 AM AND THE TOUR STARTED AT 08:45 AM, A TOTAL WASTE OF 45 MINUTES.




  3. TOUR GUIDE / MANAGER DIDN'T KEPT ANY FLAG WITH HIMSELF, SO AT EVERY PLACE WE VISITED, WE FACED PROBLEM LOCATING HIM AT CROWDED PLACES.




  4. AT NEW YORK HE LEFT SOME GROUP PERSONS BEHIND AND RUSHED THE BUS, EVEN HE DIDN’T RESPONDED TO THEIR CALLS(EVEN THEY WERE ON TIME).




  5. THE TOUR GUIDE DISRESPECTED ONE OF THE GROUP MEMBERS BY DOING HIS MIMICARRY IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE GROUP WHEN THAT GROUP PERSON WAS NOT IN THE BUS.




  6. HE DULY CLAIMED WITH GREAT EGO THAT HIS COMPANY(COX AND KINGS) IS VERY SATISFIED WITH HIM, AND WITH HIS BEHAVIOR WE CAN TRULY JUDGE THAT THE COMPANY WAS FULLY SUPPORTED TO HIM WITH HIS BEHAVIOR.




  7. IN SAN FRANCISCO THE ROOMS THAT WERE PROVIDED TO THE GUESTS WERE NOT UP-TO THE MARK AS CLAIMED BY COX AND KINGS.




  8. WHILE TRAVELLING IN THE BUS FOR THE FIRST SEVEN DAYS OF THE TRIP, HE DIDN’T SWITCHED THE AIR CONDITIONER ON, AND WE COMPLAINED TO THE BOOKING AGENT, THEN AFTER THE CALL FROM CUSTOMER CARE, THEN HE TOOK THE ISSUED SERIOUSLY AND KEPT THE AC ON. BUT HE ALWAYS CLAIMED TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMPANY IS SATISFIED WITH HIM.




  9. HE VERY WELL PLAYED POLITICS IN THE GROUP AND DECIDED THE WHOLE GROUP INTO TWO PARTS.




  10. WHEN GROUP MEMBERS REQUESTED TO PLAY ATANKSHARI IN THE BUS DURING THE TRAVEL, HE PROMPTLY DECLINED TO THAT, TO NOT TO PLAY IN THE BUS, AND HE ONLY TOLD THE MEMBERS TO PLAY HIS OWN GAME WHICH HE NAMED THE CHOCOLATY QUESTIONS, WHICH WAS TRULY A DISTURBANCE AND MENTALLY HARASSING GAME FOR THE GROUP. WHEN NO GROUP MEMBER RESPONDED TO HIS SO-CALLED GAME, HE JUST TURNED THE MIC VOLUME TO HIGH TO SATISFY HIS OWN ARROGANCE.




  11. AS IT WAS MENTIONED IN THE ITINERARY THAT DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED TO US AT SAN FRANCISCO, BUT THERE WERE NO ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SAME. AS COMPENSATION HE JUST OFFERED EACH GROUP MEMBER TO$10.00 TO HAVE THE DINNER, BUT IN RESPONSE WE OFFERED HIM$15.00 EACH TO ARRANGE FOR THE DINNER, HE DULY DECLINED. DUE TO HIS NEGLIGENCE / MISMANAGEMENT, EACH ONE OF THE GROUP MEMBERS INCLUDING THEIR CHILDREN, HAD TO SLEPT WITHOUT FOOD.






IN SHORT, WITH OUR EXPERIENCE, WE WON’T PREFER ANY ONE TO OPT COX AND KINGS FOR THEIR AMERICAN TOUR PLANS.


I will not recommend Cox & kings hereafter

We had booked "Best of Shengen tour of Cox & King for Summer 2019. Though the tour seemed to be on higher price, my family wanted to go for it as many of our friends have been travelling on Cox n Kings tours and had been recommending the tours.


But my tour experience had not been great.


Initially we had booked the tour for the schedule 26th May to 7th June, which suited our schedule, but we were forced to pre-pone the tour to the 22nd to 3rd June, for which more office leaves had to be managed and more approval had to be taken.


Our original tour included a visit to Disneyland at Paris, which was appealing to us. At the time of the change in the schedule, it was apprised that the Disneyland trip would be intact.


Having faith in an organisation like Cox n King, I never thought of taking a written proof of the same.(I always consider that big organisations never fail to fulfil their words. But seems that I was wrong this time)


A day prior to the proposed'optional' tour of Disneyland, we got to know that the trip is optional and in case of opting for the Disney, an additional cost of 50 Euro per person needs to be shelled out. It was unexpectedly unprofessional of Cox n King to misguide us.


I spent 200 Euro extra for the Disneyland trip which was already ensured in my initial itinerary as I had no option but to surrender to their blackmailing.


My experience with Cox n King has forced me to opt out of any future tours and would not recommend any of the tours to my friends / relatives.


Avoid cox and kings for domestic group travel

Two weeks back, I returned from Magical Char Dham yatra tour. Here I am penning my feedback on the same and urge to take action on it.


My family is travelling with Cox and Kings for the third time and we would like to point out that our Bharat Dekho experience of Magical Char dham yatra 2019 was really bad.


First of all, the tour manager was ill prepared for the tour. He mentioned that he was making his first visit to Char Dham; however he didn’t make an effort to do his homework and was clueless about places and itinerary for most of the days. He had been checking from us about itinerary. Even after checking, he had to be reminded about places to cover.


Secondly, the tour manager didn’t set any deadlines for daily departures. He hardly addressed the group through a speaker(which was working) installed on the Bus – that would have ensured all are in the same boat. Often, he would inform us about tomorrow’s departure timing only late in the evening(after dinner) – that too on an individual basis. It created a lot of confusion.


Not setting a deadline resulted in our journey starting late and being behind schedule. For instance, on the last two days, he had told a deadline of 8-8:30 am for us(on being asked). And when I called him at 8 am to check the whereabouts of the rest of the members, I found that he had just woken up. The whole group finally left late at 10: 15 am. On questioning him, he said it’s the IST – Indian Standard Time.


Thirdly, we saw him get friendly with girls/ladies in the group and were seen chatting with them on the back and playing cards . Once, they were seen chatting loudly at 3 am in the morning in the bus and we promptly told them to go to sleep. On many other occasions, we noticed that he would go to the back of the bus and socialize. The consequence of it was that over a period of time, he was seen favouring the group while setting deadlines for departure and booking tickets on their behalf.


On the last two days of the journey, one of the families in the group didn’t have tickets to move ahead from Delhi. So, he purposely delayed the departure(8:30 am was the time given to us) till it was 10 am. At 10 am he was seen booking tatkal train tickets along with the other group members(we have pictures of the same). When I confronted him about it, he said he would reimburse my train ticket if we are delayed. He attempted to do tatkal booking on two occasions – delaying our departure in the process.


Lastly, at Kedarnath we had to bear the brunt of his unprofessionalism. He didn’t set time deadlines to members and the bus left at 8 pm for the hotel – leaving myself, my husband and my five-year-old son in the lurch. It was raining on that day and he had clearly mentioned a day earlier that bus would not leave till the last member checks-in from kedarnath.


While we were below at Sonprayag by 6 pm, we couldn’t communicate since there was no phone network. We stood in the queue for more than an hour to get the jeep and at 7:41 pm there were 5 missed calls from the tour manager. And at 7:50 pm the bus left – giving us hardly 9 minutes to respond.


We subsequently had to pay Rs 1, 500 to a cab driver(no receipt given) for a pick-up from the venue to the hotel – which came at 10:30 pm(2.5 hours later). The bus driver didn’t come. Till that time, all three of us were standing in wet clothes and in total discomfort. If he had preset a deadline, I would have planned to come by that time. That’s what happens in most tours. When we asked, he said that free parking was not allowed in front of that hotel and we had to bear the consequences for that.


Moreover, he gave us a wrong phone number of a Cox and king representative to be contacted at Kedarnath(above) for the hotel. This man was absconding and five of the group members were waiting for 5-6 hours after arriving at the restaurant in freezing cold and rainy weather at the top. None bothered to inform us at least the hotel name. We were asked to wait in Annapurna restaurant where Mayank didn’t even arrive. After 5 hrs of search we got hold of him through references of localites.


Moreover, in twin sharing allocation, we were asked to share room with a group member who was drunk. It was really surprising to know that Cox and Kings could have such an arrangement. This was despite many rooms being empty in the hotel.


Moreover, since tour manager was ill-prepared - everything was left to the whims and fancies of the driver. On three occasions the tour manager even missed the hotel destinations. The driver purposely was halting at a small dhaba in most localities even when good restaurants were there. On requesting to halt at a proper restaurant for lunch we were asked to shell out the lunch expenses for driver in big restaurants. Most of the days we took lunch around 3 - 4 pm. Instead of halting bus at the good location for lunch after frequent reminders at 12 pm, tour manager was easily sitting at the back bench depending on driver to look for restaurants.


Also, your brochure mentioned about giving 1 litre per day per person. He packed all bottles for the tour and three days before the tour, he said it’s finished. On being asked about it, he said we had consumed more bottles and was very rude. My family and another family member protested against it. For record purposes, he should have handed over bottles to each family on a daily basis to avoid confusion.


In short, the whole coordination for the tour was very sloppy. The tour manager was most of the time glued to his ear phones watching movies – or chatting up with women.


This experience definitely opened my eyes about the quality of services for domestic tours. I tag along with Cox and Kings for their brand promise and for being ahead of the rest in terms of services. But, this experience showed that Bharat dekho tours needs to do a lot to catching up as compared to your own Duniya Dekho.

My experience was full of disappointments. I went to Bhutan through Cox and Kings. Guess what, they mentioned entrance fee to be paid by them but in Bhutan I paid for every entrance. Next thing was no guide was provided. No goody bag was provided to me. Few of us got goody bag but not me. Moreover I had to pay 12.5 k extra for no good reason. They duped me and I have heard from few others as well. They can get money out of your pocket but won’t give you appropriate reasons for the cost you paid and services you got. Try SOTC at least they know what they are doing. These guys are my first and last timers. I am never going to suggest any of my friends Cox and Kings. They duped me. I serve my nation and this is how they treat the soldiers. I don’t expect any good for others too. Believe me I have had worst of the experiences.


Best of europe bad tour

We are suffering in best of Europe tour they are giving us bad meals and they are also not giving similar category hotel they are giving hotel out of city and in literary they have shown hotel in city .they are playing bad games with all of us .we are around 36 people we all have same reviews. We will not come for any tour with Cox and kings in future and letter is enclosed with this from all 36 people with signatures

Sorry to say as much as we looked forward to a cool holiday in Bhutan, Cox and Kings kept us hanging till the 11th hour for proper documentation and tickets... with no scope to ask for clarifications or further doubts we had... No welcome staff to meet and see us off nor a welcome gift of bag or cap! And then the number of photo sessions wasting our site seeing time, with a promise of a pack of photos as a souvenir on the last day.... NOTHING came.... I hope it won't be used as advertisement material by Cox n Kings!


Guys n gals reading this pls go else where for a good travel agent.... I'd never recommend this Company to anyone! Don't waste ur precious money with these agents.

From the time we spoke to sales arif and upto the time we paid up, all was good. then came the complete opposite. no details from them ever-until we write to them -shabbir petiwala- calls were never answered. tickets came the evening we left our city to take the connecting flights. hotel rooms were the last of the lot they had for cox n kings. garbage and generator views and noises. paying a higher Grandeur trip tour money we got tempo traveller when we were promised a SUV. no calls taken for complaints and finally cell phones switched off.-neerja our emergency contact person . . no guides.only driver of tempo to take u from point 1 to point 2. horrible experience with the roads being ok and 6 hrs of ghat drives approximately. nubra valley camp tents was also highly OK with no electricity for the price we pay. a holiday should be to enjoy . not keep organising and fighting with tour operators everyday for things. rather plan your own holiday and do it yourself! disgusting experience on the whole! the local staff and driver were the only saving grace!
