I have filled a lucky draw coupon of Country Club in Big Bazzar shopping mall.
I have received a call from Ms. Jyoti(+nextisbest143207227) and Mr. Mohit(+919555902767) saying that I am very lucky and one of 25 persons who have owned the lucky draw. She said that I have won a coupon of Rs. 35,000. But they said that I have to personally come to their office to collect the coupon. When I said why they don't mail me the coupon she said that she would educate me about how to get benefits of coupon and list of hotels apart from Rs 10000 VLCC free service. They have sent me the "Ansal plaza mall ground floor c block shop n. 06 south ex part 2 khel gaon road."
When I reached their Ms. Soni said me that she will inform me about membership plans but I will get the gift coupon irrespective of I take membership or not.
After 45 minutes of talk with Ms. Soni, about country club, she persuaded me to join Country Club, to which I denied. They have said me that they will e-mail me the coupon to my mail address. They have not sent me any coupon. When I call Mr Mohit and other representatives they disconnect the phone many times giving petty reasons like "i am busy right now." or " will arrange a phone call from Senior".
When I mailed the issue to their Hyderabad customer care "centralcustomercare@countryclubmail.com" I got a response saying " kindly contact local marketing department."
These "central customer care" guys again refer me to same local marketing guys who have cheated me and taking no response which I already mentioned in my mail to them.
What I feel is the whole lucky draw and gift voucher of 35,000 is nothing but a marketing gimmick to get people come to their office and take a membership. its a waste of time and above all to make people feel idiot who don't take their membership.
Here are some points to mention about their marketing plan which is misleading:
1) Creating a hype of Rs 35000 gift voucher.
2) Not giving true information that customers have to listen to 45 minutes about only membership plans.
3) Forcing customers to take impulsive decision on the membership plan on the spot only.
4) If you don't take their membership they will forget everything about you. Even disconnect the phone giving various reasons.
