This mail is regarding the experience that I faced in Country Club.
Myself, along with my wife happened to visit the employees of Country Club on 28th of April, 2019 at Mega Mart 3rd Flood, Valasaravakkam, Chennai – 600087. A girl named Mohana(Employee ID – CHAMC150) attended us and explained about the international trip packages.
Following are the promises given by her(Mohana).
14 days of international holidays per year(Over a period of 5 years),
A guaranteed 3-star and 5-star free accommodation in domestic hotels,
A guaranteed 4-star and 7-star free accommodation in international hotels,
Free accommodation in own domestic and international hotels,
Utility charges+ Taxes only for associated domestic and international hotels,
Utility charges+ Taxes – 700 to 1000 INR/Week for associated domestic properties,
Utility charges+ Taxes – 100 to 150 USD/Week for associated international properties
Free breakfast and dinner in all the owned and associated domestic and international properties,
Free airport pick-up from airport to hotel and vice-versa,
Flat 40% for all domestic and international flight tickets,
Guide will be arranged at free of cost for all domestic and international trips,
Photography will be arranged at free of cost for all domestic and international trips,
If not travelling as a group, the user has to bear the price of fuel alone,
AMC charges stays at a flat 10, 500 INR/year(Including taxes),
Free accommodation for 8 family members for 14 days of international holidays per year for a period of 5 years(Provided, AMC is paid),
Country club has tied up partnership with all the “Talwalkars Gym” across the nation.
Free entry for me and my wife in any “Talwalkars Gym” of our choice,
Payable amount for the package which includes free accommodations in all Asian and 3 selected European countries is 65, 200/-
Since, I had a plan of going for international trip with my wife, and the above promises sounded to be really good deal, I paid a sum of 50, 200 on the spot and promised to pay the rest of the amount on 30/04/2019.
When I went to pay the rest of the money, I came to know, that none of the above listed points will be provided by country club. I decided to hold on the remaining payment until I get a proper solution from the management. Hours of conversation I had with Mr Damu(Customer Care) and Mr Vijay(Manager) ended up in vain, as none of them could provide proper solution.
As, fake promises were provided and I don’t get the deserved outcome upon paying the amount, I request you to refund the full amount I paid you.
Note that, I did not take up any of your privileges during these 27 long period that I could have availed.
Do note that, the customers who had conversation with the employees were all newly married and were happy to shell out money hoping that they would get fruitful outcome. But, if this is how system works, i.e. by giving “false promises” by targeting “newly married couples”, I request you to end this service at this extend for good. So that, no more couple would be disheartened.
