We got into the bus after 4 hours travel to Coimbatore in between the bus got some problem only driver was there. No alternative bus could be provided no proper response and alternative arrangements. Kindly never think of conti travels

Worst service.. I was traveling yesterday from coimbatore to Bangalore..the engine got heated and the driver stopped for 30mins.. next again it got heated near Hosur.. the driver knew he will manage to reach Bangalore and he didn't attempted to arrange for alternative and also the customer care didn't respond..

After 3 hours of trying to make the bus cool down they called for alternative bus..the bus driver didn't bother to answer our queries or taking any attempt to arrange for alternative.. very worst service.its 10.30pm.. ladies, kids, elders, office goers waiting in highway hoping for alternative bus.finally at 11.30 alternative bus came.

Totally surprised at the negative reviews here. It's almost like the incentive of 20 points for a negative review, as opposed to the 10 points for a positive one, is making people trash Conti service. My family and I, have been travelling with Conti for years. The driver, additional staff in the bus and the office staff are all very professional and polite. If you have not arrived for boarding at the designated time, the staff follows up with a call to verify if one is travelling or not. I have experienced instances where the bus driver has waited for the passenger to show up. Travelling to and from Coimbatore to Bangalore, for me, has been a great experience.

We unable to sleep full night due to Tyre touching to bus body. very bad smell and worst response from driver and cleaner.

Conti Travels Please don't select this operator. Better to travel with open ticket in train or local govt bus. Very much disappointed with bus quality. Not even lights in bus.

Conti has one of the worst passenger support, they don't give u the driver's or the attendant alternative contact number, instead they give a customer care number which belongs to the regional office, today I had a worst experience, the lady at the cus care office got pissed off by my enquiry, which happened coz of the bus delay. As soon as my call was over she recalled and started yelling at me and was rude to me, which made me upset coz I waiting in a scorching sun, bus was late and service is worst. I personally rate their service to zero.

I have used many bus services and the worst one among all is conti. the bus was susupposed to be started by 8.40 but it came to the stop only by 9.25 n from the min v govt into the bus it's worst. These people even use busses which don't have permit so instead of reaching in scheduled timing which is 5am still v r in Salem n d time is 7.30 am

The first time, I used this travels service for my family holidays. We were very excited for holiday in summer. This travel company office has near my home. I went to office and book seat for holiday but I face many problems during ticket or seat booking. I am not satisfied with customer service. I also faced problems during travel like that tour guides not help and Volvo service is not perfect.

If you want to used this travels service please, follow below steps,

1. compare the price of traveling packet to other company.

   
   




2. Please give at least 10 days package holiday.

What an attitude these guys have! It's become the worst travels in the recent past. These guys should understand that they are in the service industry and its just a matter of time before they disappear into oblivion!

Their staff have an attitude that they are doing a courtesy service and their customers have to be obliged. This is the third time that I have experienced this arrogant attitude and I don't see much different when I see other review about their service! Perk up guys, don't take your customers for granted!

Worst travels ever.

NON AC SEMISLEEPER:Horrible seating arrangements, there us no place for you to even move your legs .

passengers cannot sleep or sit comfortably.

Doesn't worth the money paid.

PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL

My travel is the big headache . you can book setc which is far comfortable  instead of travelling in conti travels

Isuzu which is not as agreeable as the beforehand Owned Volvo. The new transport is not smooth, roomy, agreeable as Volvo.We get more solid in the transport contrasted with the Volvo.

Trust the proprietors accomplish something with respect to this.I know this is unrealistic to change the transport as it has quite recently been change to Isuzu. Trust they accomplish something to keep the traveler agreeable and glad. My assessment is the new transport is bad as Volvo.

So my proposal is to change the transport as indicated by the clients fulfillment, as we travel long and ought to nt have any uneasiness.

10/2/2016 I tracked from Tirupur to chennai  booked conti travels bus can't pickup me any one can't call me not response . This a worst travels. Mis my money MY STRONG SUGGESTION.NEVER TAKE Conti Travels has been operating Omni Services from Coimbatore for over 4 decades. Myself having spent my growing years in Coimbatore, I have often traveled in their coaches to most of Kerala(Alwaye, Cochin Calicut), Bangalore, Mysore and Chennai.

Also three generation of our family members have travelled in their buses at different points of time 19(70’s to 2010’s). Best Part 1) Their Boarding& Departing stations/offices are good, unlike the chaotic bus stations or roadside office used by other operators. 2) Buses are of OK quality – but no better than ARC, ABT and KPN. Still better than other operators. 3) Rates are reasonable. Do not over-charge. 4) Refunds are prompt if there is any A/C mal-function or failure. Worst/Bad Part: 5) Drivers are really Rude, Sardonic and Arrogant.(Been observing for over 20 years) Comparatively KPN which was a late entry into the segment has professional drivers& Staff. Even City, ARC& ABT has better staff – in spite of being from Coimbatore. 6) Do not ask any questions regarding the Arrival time, Luggage space etc. You will get a mood spoiling answer. 7) Ticket Booking is a nightmare .No On-line booking. 8) Very impolite and sarcastic with elderly passengers. The driver& co-driver also make comments on such passengers.(Ex: Hey, go and sit down-we will call you, Don’t stand here – you will fall down and break your leg) 9) Most travelers of Conti passengers(including the old timers) would agree their rudeness towards their passengers. 10) In Mid-90’s it was not common to encounter drunk drivers(only Conti can operate) Conclusion: As said earlier I have been travelling on their Buses since childhood and in those days they were the only proper Omni bus operator from Coimbatore till late 90’s where lot of other companies started operations. Till then I used to wonder that it is the nature of omni bus drivers& co-drivers .In later years post 2000 I moved out of Coimbatore and am a frequent traveler all over the country and also abroad. in routes like Delhi-Chandigarh, Mumbai – Ahmadabad, Mumbai – Bangalore, Pune and Chennai – Hyderabad and several places within Tamil Nadu& Karnataka. But I never encounter such rudeness in them(in fact most of them can be rated from excellent to Good).

In recent years I again happened to travel to Coimbatore from both Bangalore and Chennai. Bam – to my shock the drivers were much worse than the earlier days. I would recommend ABT, ARC& KPN and other small operators(who were actually good in-spite of broken down buses) to anybody travelling to Coimbatore. Times are changing and people nowadays travel a lot and know what customer service is. And it is no wonder they have folded up their services to Kerala, Pondicherry and Mysore(saying that they were running empty) while others have picked up. Imagine at times you can find empty seat even during their weekend trips are cheap.(and that’s in a VOLVO) even though their tickets are cheap . Of course it can be argued that such kind of drivers and usually rude but in most cases only with a angry passenger.But being an entire bunch of staff being callously/habitually rude in spite of a polite request is a major character disorder.

All week end I travel from Chennai to Coimbatore for travelling in I always opt Cont Travels. Almost I have travelled in all the operators, The only bus that makes my journy comfortable and reaches in time. As per me Conti is best bus to travel. The staff, AC, Seat, and more over the maintenance of the Bus is really good. Always I had a nice and safe journy with Conti travesl. Hope they are the best travel I have ever seen.

This is the first time I am writing review about bus...i was newly married when I traveled from Coimbatore to Chennai in Conti Travels...it was just amazing ....Nice and spacious seats... comfortable seating....light music...bed lights...they have good time sense ...n you will not feel uncomfortable as you feel in other buses....no sound...its just like u r flying that's it...what else u require to travel...Me and my Husband travel frequently to Chennai.

We prefer only Conti Travels

I have been a frequent travel of Conti travels from Coimbatore to Bangalore. Recently they have got two new buses from Isuzu which is not as comfortable as the previously Owned Volvo. The new bus is not smooth, spacious, comfortable as Volvo.We get more sound in the bus compared to the Volvo.

Hope the owners do something regarding this.I know this is not possible to change the bus as it has just been change to Isuzu. Hope they do something to keep the passenger comfortable and happy. My opinion is the new bus is not good as Volvo.

So my suggestion is to change the bus according to the customers satisfaction, as we travel long and should nt have any discomfort.

Conti travels belongs to one of the oldest coach operators in coimbatore ( may be in Tamil Nadu).its parent company ums was operating buses as early as 1930, s with steam powered buses and at one point they operated about 300 buses in coimbatore region. Conti travels coach services started in 1972 (circa) with regular air-conditioned coach services to Bangalore, later to cochin and calicut and later to other towns in Kerala. The Chennai was services started in 90’s (if not mistaken).

Staff : most of them are rude and sarcastic (something special to coimbatore), while the remaining few are really good (again something special to coimbatore).yes it's black & white and nothing in-between.same applies for the booking staff .while some are excellent, others behave like the old air-India staff.

Booking convenience : no on-line ticketing (but they release sometimes - when booking is not full).for most times you have to travel all the way to their offices to book the tickets (costs time & money).when asked why 'on-line booking is not facilitated' , the reply is - ' not enough bookings' . Tickets are also not that expensive (Volvo to Chennai costs Rs. 490/- while others charge 600 or more.

Bus quality : The buses are well maintained. They have a couple of Volvo's and recently launched the new isuzu to Chennai. The isuzu bus is well built and interiors are good and has more headroom, aircraft like ambiance and no annoying steps towards the seat entry. Seats on most of their buses have always been comfortable with ample leg space (6 footers will have no problem).but the luggage rack is always loaded with some parcels or cartoons and for the passenger very less or none is left.also the bus has a loud engine noise and very loud horn.

Main boarding points : The best thing about conti is their boarding points, be it coimbatore (ums bus station) or Chennai (egmore-hotel ashoka) or Bangalore (near residency road).one doesn’t need to spend harrowing time at those travel bus stands (especially in Chennai where urine stench is alarmingly high).in chennai the bus ply along the mount road making it easy for people living in south east part of the city. (one can save at least 100 bucks).

Recommendations : i would recommend conti only for people who can take a little time/pain to travel to their offices for bookings.also for the one's who are ok with their il-mannered drivers .it is not ideal for families and older people.

May be in prev years but not now. One of my friend suggested conti from Chennai to Coimbatore & after reading all ur reviews I booked the ticket. But to the worst what I had was a terrible & ever worst travel.. Some points for ur view which I suffered.

1.Everyone knows all the travels even non volvo ordinary 2%2b2 seater non ac travels will have a cabin door which prevents the engine noise & on comming vehicles head light. But this no1 traveler’s bus had no such cabin door. A screen was provided to the left & right front seaters alone. Remaing all of us were not able to sleep due to the focus by the on comming vehicles.

2.Bus Condition - Very tidy & even some seats were torn, sponge also were outside. The luggage keeping place- Hope it was never cleaned since from the date of introduction of the service... Very sandy.. 3.AC Coach - Just for the name sake only. For the driver cabin & first half of the bus..Not AC, just air was flowing that too first half bus cool air, second half bus hot air. Unfortunately I was in second half bearing hot air in hot climate.. 4.Polite operators- ha..Ha..ha...Ultimate comedy...

Even after many passengers suggesting they didnt even dare to solve the AC problem.. After some time they turned arrogant.. 5.Commericial Luggage- Another comedy.In egmore for loading that luggages bus was delayed 15mins. 6.Shawl r Bedsheet - I hve traveled in many AC buses everyone will provide a shawl..But this no1 traverler’s didnt provide it. Hope they already know that AC wont work and no need to provide... Friends, MY STRONG SUGGESTION..NEVER TAKE CONTI TRAVELS..

They are no 1 in Coimbatore.. they run bus on time... bus is clean , the tour operators are very polite and kind in answering...the seats are good.... no bed bugs... ac is good...no vibration  , no shakes.the driver drives excellent , and they are no 1 .. .no doubt in it... I traveled thro many travels , but I am satisfied only with conti... they r very disciplined and they rock in Coimbatore...
