Cocoon hospital is money mule

Despite having good infrastructure hospital services are not upto mark . Doctors are more focused on getting heavy fees rather than guiding patient correctly .

Nightmare experience

Dr poonam she is biggest criminal in the name of doctors.. entire staff is very rude . When I went frst time for anc checkup everyone was very nice and polite.. but after consulting 9 months when it was delivery time I was in the pain whole night doctor and staff didn't co-operated. Services were very poor. Unfortunately I tested covid positive without having single symptoms. After c-section a patient need rest and proper care.. but after 6-7 hours of c-section I did all my things alone. O was crying for drinking water in the night. The nurse were listening everything but she was avoiding. They even didn't look at my baby who was given to me and was covid Positive I couldn't feed her. My husband was not allowed to enter in my room.. I was unable to take her due to C-section pain.. my husband has big fight with the hospital management regarding all these issues. but they just verbally apologize.. I would suggest please don't go in this hospital it's not lifesaving place.. they have no sympathy with the patient or newborn. They are just money making people.. please don't make your experience as a nightmare.. better to go in a government hospital rather then cocoon hospital.

Nightmare experience
Feb 25, 2021 11:44 PM4362 Views (via Mobile)

Had the worst experience of my life in this hospital. Was consulting Dr. Priya Gupta. Being an exclusive maternity hospital I considered it to be safe during covid times. But here I was trapped. The sanitisation and covid norms on the 1st floor where all consultation rooms are located in a mere sham to trap you.

Things are just opposite on the 5th floor where the labour rooms are situated. I was given a shared labour room named blossom with two beds and no washroom. As I entered it, I was given a badly torn reusable surgical gown to wear and a bed with blood-stained linen to lie down. Quoting my gynae Dr. Priya who came around 9.30 am to just talk from distance“due to rush I was given this shared labour room”.At around 11.30 am amniotomy was performed on me by the duty doctor Dr. Pratibha in an inhuman manner with just gloved fingers. After performing it they left me alone to lie on the wet linen in labour pains and didn’t even bother to give pads or underpads. For a toilet, I had to walk unassisted to another labour room to use a shared dirty washroom while spilling blood and amniotic fluid throughout the way.

When I asked for water, the nursing staff who was busy chatting with other staff gave it after 15 minutes. They were so unempathetic that they were talking in front of me that the rush in labour room today is the result of the corona. Live training was being imparted by senior nursing staff to newer ones on me. They were even being taught to cover the female patient as male neonatologists were passing through the same passage where labour rooms are situated. They even can’t maintain a women’s dignity. Is it to be taught?

Just 30 mins before I delivered I was asked to change the labour room walking unassisted; no wheelchair or stretcher was provided. There also for 15 mins I was assisted by just one nursing staff. When she felt that I will deliver very soon and the duty doctor and gynae very not available around she turned me on my left side, stopped my drip to get time for preparation, and called them in haste. When the duty doctor came they started my drip and I delivered in 5 mins. My gynae just came 2 mins before I delivered. Till then she didn’t even touch me. For this, I was consulting here for nine months.

My child was just shown to me in hands of a neonatologist and then I was given in calm pose. No skin-to-skin contact no feeding till 1 hour of delivery. When I became conscious and asked to feed my child the same staff who emptied the dustbins 2 mins ago in front of me brought my child to feed without changing gloves. The vaginal pack was inserted inside me which I was not aware of as I was given a calm pose after delivery and even that nursing (or sweeping?)staff was not aware and then she insisted me to pass urine. When I was not able to do so due to the pack, she said rudely without doing that duty doctor will not allow me to shift to the room. When I was in the washroom she even carried my newborn to the washroom. She was holding my newborn with one hand and with another she took the jet of the toilet to spray water on my stomach so that I pass urine. Heights of negligence. When the duty doctor Dr. Mandira came to remove the vaginal pack I came to know about it. Long strips of gauzes were given to control bleeding and you need to hold them with both your hands while going to the toilet. In the name of post-op care of stitches, the nursing staff will just ask you to change the pads and will apply the metrogyl ointment without even cleaning the stitches with a betadine swab.

This hospital just knows to loot money from patients without delivering services. In the name of covid, they are charging heavily but are not maintaining even the basic hygiene norms. What's the sense of sanitising the patient chairs after each consultation when you cannot maintain the basic hygiene in labour room, washroom, and at least while handling a newborn. Even after giving detailed feedback to management they just apologised verbally and today when they receive legal notice my gynae calls to say that we are creating a big issue of small things. Extremely shameful

Worst Hospital in Jaipur

Our experience was very bad and it was like a nightmare for my sister who planned her pregnancy with this hospital. She went through an agony and tromatised here during the hospitalisation. Not even describe what happened to her at this place. A Butcher House is a better place than this hospital.

Excellent Experience

Absolutely pathetic service

  1. Teach your staff discipline. Nurses comes, puts nebuliser and goes off and rest is left to parents to take care if kid is taking nebuliser or not, whether he is talking it right. And then nurse will be back after 30 mins to take back nebuliser machine. Nurses are hired to take care of patients or nebuliser machine?

  2. When asked for a doctor, got a response from nursing staff there is only one doc because of Sunday and that too is in OT. Seriously? You will just have one doc on sunday? Why dont you guys ask admitted patients also to leave on sunday and come back on Monday?

  3. It takes 2 hrs to get a room for admission.

  4. You guys are into a business to cure infants/kids. They cannot explain if there is something not right with them. Just having a good infa is not enough. you need to have more disciplined staff who understand the seriousness of this. With this poor staff you will just spoil the health of kid more.

Cocoons hospital worst facility
Apr 11, 2019 02:35 PM7193 Views (via Mobile)

My experience was extremely bad. The hospital nurse who was supposed to take blood samples of my wife took 5 tries and still wasn’t able to locate a nerve to take the blood! The cleanliness department didn’t do its job and had to be shouted upon to get the room cleaned, despite filing complaints at the help desk. I was assured that they would provide extra beds for someone who decides to stay over with my wife at the hospital, but I was forced to sleep on the couch, and my sister, on the floor. Despite repeated complaints, no beds were provided.

When my newborn child was handed over to me, they didn’t even have the courtesy to wrap him in a cloth. Needless to say, I would never recommend this hospital to anyone.

Luxurious hospital

I went there for my sis's fibroid operation. Right from entering to walk tlhrough reception area to the first floor where we had to collect test reports were grand and spotless. The doctors are very experienced. The hospital take care of every comfort of patient & even the companion. As it is largely a mother-baby hospital you can see a shop with all baby products, toys etc. Opposite to that it was nice to find an eatery; all within the reception area.

What annoyed me was the linency and behavior of insurance department. How can they not ask a 7month pregnant woman to sit who came for the package enquiry. Indeed, inhumane!

Best hospital for delivery
Apr 28, 2018 01:20 AM8058 Views (via Android App)

As it's symbol shows us that this hospital is related to the mother amd the child and it's absolutely true. According to me, this is the best hospital for the delivery and welcoming a new baby to the family.

Now let's talk about the facilities over here, The hospital is properly neat and tidy and one will not found any unhygienic environment. The staffs here are really good amd will help you each and every time you need them. Doctors are too well experienced and will treat you properly. You will face no sort of problem here and you can totally depend upon the doctors as well as om the staffs.

All the services are available here that includes any things related to medical needs like medicines or any other things.

The hospital in even not costly and will be in your budget. According to me it's the best hospital for delivery where you can have all the facilities and a set of both good doctors as well as good staff.

Good hospital

There are always enough staff on duty with the right skills, knowledge and experience.

Staff keep checking any possible risks to your safety. For example, they look out for signs that your health could be getting worse and then take steps to improve it.

If something goes wrong with your care or treatment, the hospital investigates how it happened and why, you receive an apology, and the hospital tells you what it will do to improve and stop the same thing happening to other people.

Paediatric Cocoon: Very good care
Feb 24, 2017 05:33 PM8935 Views

I took my sister in law 5 months old baby to the Cocoon Hospotel upon medical advice due to a high fever+ other concerning symptoms. We waited quite a long time between our first arrival and first check by a nurse and then several hours for the results of the urine & blood tests. All in all, despite the wait, baby received a very good care and was appropriately monitored. I felt that each consultant, doctor and nurse we met were very professional and took the time to examine baby, to talk to us and reassure us and explain their diagnosis and proposed treatment. Certain parts of the hospital really need to be refreshed / refurbished.

My doctor made this experience even more special
Jan 27, 2017 03:44 PM8605 Views

This was the second successful C- Section I had within the last five years at this hospital and again I was treated with exceptional care and consideration throughout the entire process. On this occasion both me and my partner were included and consulted throughout the procedure and the entire team within theatre were fantastic as my partner was able to cut our baby's cord and was told by the team what they were doing when baby had been delivered and was being checked over. My doctor made this experience even more special and remarkable for us when we were given the opportunity to see our baby girl being brought into the world, they did in a very careful way so that all we saw given the circumstances was the baby being delivered and that something we will never forget and are forever grateful for. As a result of high standard of care received my recovery was great and I was discharged home the following day and since this time me and baby have gone from strength to strength. Both me and my partner would like to say a massive thank you to the team that completed this C-Section. Kind Regards Gemma Wright.
