We have been following up with Club Liberty for over two months regarding a promised movie ticket coupon, and all we get are repeated excuses with no real resolution. Every time we reach out, they respond with the same generic message: "We are reviewing your request and will get back to you shortly." But nothing ever happens!

Their so-called "gift vouchers" are a complete scam. They make customers go through a never-ending follow-up process, wasting time and energy, only to deny the promised offers in the end. They even made us sit through a long session, falsely advertising a "free 3-day, 2-night hotel stay"—another lie with no actual benefits.

It is clear that Club Liberty is running a fraudulent scheme, deceiving people with fake promotional offers while dragging out the process with excuses. We are exposing their scam by sharing screenshots of our entire email conversation so others don’t fall for their tricks.

Avoid Club Liberty at all costs! Don't waste your money or time on their fake vouchers and misleading promises.

They promose you everything at the membership and disappear one you take membership from them with a lumpsum account.

As we have checked the details & would like to inform you that mandatory inclusions with standard charges without any discounts(Breakfast+Dinner)(Dinner Charges for 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, 01st January will be 3000/person), Rest of the days 2000/day/person will be applicable from 23rd December to 4th January due to most peak time of properties and it does not follow the Tie-Up rules, kindly suggest us accordingly to proceed further.

Booking can be considered with 01 room only as of now as per the membership criteria.”

At the time of taking membership they said no additional changes and also promised to book many room in single tour but see above response.

They are super fraud.

Let me tell you about the systematic fraud they carry out with their so called customers.

This company operates in a planned way. Firstly they'll sell you the vacation plan making multiple false promises like we'll have flexibility with the dates. They are very rigid with dates. But wait, that's not it.

The sales agent will quote that after 1st stay we can decide whether we want to continue with the plan or not.

In my case I have been systematically denied my 1st vacation as I have come out of syllabus and as I'm asking them for a stay in Europe.

At first instance they denied quoting I need to ask for accommodation a month back( it was super off season and the sales person has promised that they give support sometimes in such cases)

Still, I thought that fault lies at my end.

Now, next stay I'm asking them for a stay in Dec end. This time they are asking me money around ₹; 7000 per day for 2 people in the name of "mandatory" breakfast which comes around whooping ₹; 42000 for 7 days stay.

It means they have the availability of the hotel, but have found a way around so that the person does not travel.

They'll lure you with changing your vacation date which they know is not easy in case we are planning for abroad. Overall the whole team is a fraud.

Also it should be noted that if I book the hotel they're offering myself, then it would actually cost lesser than the amount they are asking for the breakfast. Do you see? Breakfast cost by club Liberty is higher than the stay itself.

I'll urge you all not to fall in their trap. Spend some extra bucks and buy some other company's plans.

I'm going legal against them because of the kind of response I've been getting.

Save your hard earned money. Don't fall in their trap.

Disappointing Experience with Liberty Holidays

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Liberty Holidays. Despite my repeated attempts to address the issue, I've been met with generic responses and a lack of concern.

On October 16, I received a call from Mr. G, stating that I had selected two complimentary gift cards from Tata's channel partner, Liberty Holidays, for purchasing a Tata car. However, when I arrived at Le Meridien Coimbatore, I was met with a different story. Despite my skepticism, Mr. G assured me that there was no meeting or stage program, and I just needed to come with my spouse to collect the vouchers.

However, when I arrived, Mr. G was not there, and another person, Mr. S, received us and started explaining about the company and membership packages. After an hour, we requested to leave, but Mr. S compelled us to take a membership starting at 3.5 lakhs, which we declined. His manager, Mr. M, offered discounts, but we still declined. At last, they offered 91, 680/- and asked for an advance payment of 21, 680 rupees, which we paid. After the payment, they compelled us to pay the balance of 70, 000 rupees today or that advance amount will be wasted as this offer is only for that moment.

Specifically, I was assured that a specific hotel would be booked, which didn't happen when I tried to book. Also, there is a refund policy mentioned in the agreement, which states that if we are not satisfied with their service, we can cancel and get a refund, which was also confirmed during the demonstration.

When I tried to cancel the membership, your team denied my request and threatened to cancel my membership without a refund if I shared my negative experience on public platforms. This is a clear breach of trust and violation of consumer rights.

I demand a full refund of the amount paid, compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused, and cancellation of the membership package.

I hope Liberty Holidays takes my feedback seriously and takes immediate action to improve their customer service. Until then, I would caution others to be aware of the potential for subpar service.

There’s no way to cancel, as you have signed an agreement. I have paid EMI for 8 months, now I requested for cancellation, and they are telling me that this can’t be cancelled.

Customer service says that this can’t be canceled I got rude shock. Don’t loose your hard earned money.

Please avoid ??.

I’m thinking of approaching consumer court.

We received a random call from club liberty regarding a promotional event in Four seasons Sheraton, Bengaluru and upon questioning that how they got our number, they mentioned that they got it from Honda from whom we got our new car.

Fraud is written all over this scheme or company.

The vouchers what they provided never worked. The best part is to not trust these jack asses.

CLUB Liberty is bed bug, once you become the member your problems will start, I will suggest don't hesitate if you cheated, log the legal for fraud, other wise after taking your lump sum amount, they explained our legal team is strong but if you filed legal you will get your refund with compensation.

This is run by scamsters. They invite you to a posh hotel for collecting some free coupons. Even I had received a call inviting me to Hilton. Good I read the reviews here. Saved me from getting scammed!

We had been called for a presentation at Hilton Bangalore . We got a call on our mobile phone along with an invite on whatsApp.

Post the event we got a voucher for pvr movie tickets and 3 D / 2 N hotel stay .

Its a new kind of trap in the name of Liberty hospitality. They take data from car dealership centres and sort out the new purchasee to fool them. They invite to a good hotel promising vacation and movie vouchers. Luring options and so many referral videos and pictures they show just that we pay immediately on the table.

My husband was almost ready to purchase but i checked their review from mouthshut which helped me not to get into trap.

Writing this to educate other people who may fall prey for their luring opportunities and get fooled.

There sales pitch was misleading, It all started from buying your phone number and calling you to a hotel by saying that they have a tie up with your car company.

Later I discovered that it was a lie

I got to know about there false promises within one day after I made the payment because I tried booking with them the very next day after paying them.

Sales team smartly hide things and only talk which can lure the people, on complaining about this to the company within one day the company is not ready to listen anything and there intention is to keep the money at any cost.

when I asked for refund they completely denied and asked for signed proof from the sales person.

The pitch was verbal, how can they ask for signed document from them? there excuse is silly, why would a sales person sign on anything they are talking about.

this happened within one day after the payment.

Now they have kept my lakhs of rupees and not willing to give back anything.

They first mislead you and on the name of policy will try to keep all your money.

I even offered them to deduct some amount and refund because we have some disagreement.

Disagreement regarding what was offered and what I am getting offered after payment.

Any reputed company will payback your money if there is any disagreement and you have not taken any services.

In my case all my money is with them and I have not taken a single service from them

so its like a free money for them

Its a long term relationship when you buy a membership.(5 years/10 years)

its good until its going good, but as soon as something bad happens, this company is not going to entertain you and your issues, No one will even call you and you will be mocked by them over emails.

So I would suggest everyone to be cautious and plan your trip yourself, why to depend on them and pay them lakhs and take headache for 10 years

Purchased vacation membership for 5 years with 6N/7D per year and additional 2 weeks as bonus. While purchasing sales people gave multiple fake offers like Private Island Resorts are covered in Maldives. Airport pick up/drop are free, just need to give 2-3 days of advance intimation to book, membership can be cancelled anytime etc. After purchasing,

1) for my 1st vacation plan, they put restriction on number of rooms that can be allocated saying because of peak season rooms are not available, but ironically they asked me to pay for additional room.

2)When I enquired about Maldives resort options, they gave me only public island options and said private islands are not covered and need to pay on my own, if I want to book resorts in private islands.

3) Even though I mailed 3 weeks in advance for hotel booking, they simply said not even a single Hotel/Resort are available in both Bangalore, Chennai. But when I check on any travel portal every Resort/Hotel listed in their website have rooms available.

4) Considering all these bad experiences, I have asked them to cancel my membership and issue refund. But now they are denying saying cancellation is not allowed.

Even when we raise about fake promises by sales persons, they simply ask for written proofs. When I told them, I had WhatsApp chat with sales person, then they flipped statement, those sales persons left the company, so we didn’t consider it. Even when we raise any questions over email, they simply call and later reply back on email, saying as discussed over call queries are addressed, but they don’t reply to email with what is discussed, as they don’t want to give any written evidences.

Update:

After raising concerns on public forums(Google, Twitter, Mouthshut and Consumer Complaint Forums), they have called back to cancel membership and refund some amount. Confirmed over email as well, will refund 1st EMI on 30th Oct 2023 and 2nd EMI on 17th Nov.

But 1st EMI they refunded on 13th Dec(6weeks from committed date), after multiple follow-ups. All lies in that process on why it’s getting delayed like

i) Saying bank server was down! (Not sure which bank server goes down for 6 weeks).

ii) Said transfer was initiated and it will get credited next day by noon. As no transfer should take that long to get credited, have asked them to share screenshot of transfer. It’s an INOS transfer, that too HDFC to HDFC bank transfer, which will be immediate. So only after asking for screenshot they have transferred, but claimed to have transferred previous day.

Post transfer, when I asked them to give date for 2nd EMI, they said Jan 18th. Initial committed difference between both EMI’s was 18 days. As there was delay of 6 weeks from initial commitment, anyone would expect early credit or atleast sticking to initial commitment for 18 days, but they follows that as well and said 2nd EMI will be after 34 days from 1st. When questioned, why there is change from initial commitment, not ready to answer. When requested to schedule call with their senior management, they initially agreed, but after 2-3 missed commitments, again denied call as well.

There are multiple missed commitments and even after 3.5 months from inital commitment date and 1.5 month from 2nd commitment date, it's still not paid. All they say is technical issues!

Even gave option to send cheque to avoid technical issues. It has been 1 month and still they are saying discussion with management on sending cheque as option.

For my booking, when I gave a bad review, they have stated "both negative feedbacks and services cannot be parallel" and "we would not be able to consider the booking as of now". They are basically forcing me to remove my reviews or else they will not be providing me any service or bookings and they will not even refund your money.

Really unethical company. Horrible experience. Everyone please be aware and do not waste your valuable money.
