Pathetic Quality of Shoes- Citywalk Colaba
Sep 29, 2016 12:04 PM 5106 Views

Most Pathetic Quality of shoes Despite being so expensive, Very uncomfortable, not at all sturdy, disgusting after sales service, disgusting customer service, Dont ever buy shoes from CityWalk ever, Complete waste of money. Instead you could buy the Shoes from the street, they last much longer. After Sales service sucks, they said they will repair the shoes and give within 10 days, Its over 20 days now, and I haven't got my shoes back. This is so not expected from a brand .

I want i'd have scan these reviews earlier. Recently bought a try of shoes from town walk, banjara hills, hyderabad. they solely skint into items at intervals 10days. although they're trendy n light-weight weighted, sole wasn't smart because it was slippery n not the least bit comfy. even the shoe covering is of some mat reasonably material!

I came them for repair however i'm undecided of their sturdiness even after! after I pay 1300 Rs on shoes, minimum factor I will expect is that the sturdiness. Hope the management takes some action in creating their shoes. i'd b greatly happy if they offer Maine back an improved quality of shoes because it remains in warrantee amount

Right choice for Right feet

City walk shoes is marked for perfection in Shoes as this brand will give you cushion and comfort to the people who cares for his or her feet's .City walk shoes also gives me many options in terms of sizes, color, and price to choose. The quality of this brand is really good that one can buy this brand again and again.

Like their policy of return the shoe if you doesn't like the material or when it gets defective after you purchase. This brand shoes will match up your choice because they are having both the segments that is for formal wear  and for casual wear.

City walks cannot be replaced with some other brands as it gives me reliability, durability and flexibility but you can think of other brand like Wood lands it is also known for its quality and assurance  among the people.

The shoe which I purchases from City walk are still working and also the shine and softness of this shoe remains the same at the time of purchased.

Poor Quality Stuff!
Apr 26, 2015 04:47 PM 8940 Views

My Wife purchased Chappals for herself  from linking Road Bandra about 2 month back.

The chappals started biting her legs from day 1 and she couldnt use it. She had to affix band aid tape to cure the bites and it took almost 3 weeks for the bite to stop.Just after 1 month the belts started coming off. pasting started coming off. The rubber under the heal came off from one of the Chappal. She found the Chappals to be quiet uncomfortable in wearing. In 2 months time she had to discard the Chappals.

Money wasted on poor quality Chappals. Think twice before buying.

As I have a sister's wedding coming up this I think is a perfect place for such shopping... thank you Citywalk for making my perfect day more perfect with the matching and best sandals.. <3 <3 <3 :) :)

One thing I liked but did not buy was their collection of formal ladies shoes.. the moccasins and drivers for ladies is awesome... I will surely go back to buy them.... :)

I prefer buying the shoes from City Walk for its best quality leather. City Walk shoes are the one of the best shoes that lasts longer comparing it to the other shoes, they are so comfortable and light that one can even wear it for a long walk also.

They have a best collection of shoes, which are in vogue. They have a good collection of formal, casual as well as bridal wears. The showroom is too big  with full of new varieties. The staff is also very co-operative. I like more about its mehendi offer which is also amazing.

City Walk Shoes Is rally good shoes on collection variety is very less now the improvement must be from the dept of the management the manufacturing of the goods must be with several variety so that if there is slight change required for the customer in the design then one must be able to do that and they must also increase stores towards western side for egg.

Towards andheri, malad, mira road, borivali these stations must be there future targets and they must also change there uniforms of the staff which very old trend now they must go for some new colour and designs of the uniforms.

Unpleasant Experience
Jan 27, 2010 06:56 PM 6290 Views

I had heard that City walk is one of the best footwear brands in Mumbai but it did not live up to my expectations.

On my last visit to Mumbai, I bought a pair of black sandals from City walk shoes at grant road just next to the famous store, Sheetal. One of my best friends used to work in some office at grant road and we had decided to meet after work. We were just doing some window shopping.

Personally, trendy clothes and shoes are pretty much my weakness. I have many pairs of them but I still want to see every different pattern in my closet. This is what never stops me from buying new shoes. These sandals that I bought, were smartly sitting at the top of the shelf, attracting me. I looked at the price which was Rs. 1400 and found them extremely overpriced.

But I found it hard to resist an attractive pair of sandals and just bought them. I made them pack the sandals that I was wearing and instead wore the new ones which went perfectly with my black dress that I was wearing which had made me buy those sandals in the first place. I was happy but only till the time we stepped out of the shop.

After that we went to CCD to sip a cup of coffee and spend some time. Before leaving from there I wanted to use the bathroom which was upstairs. The stairs were not like the regular ones but were artificially built of some material like steel.

And you will not believe while walking down the stairs I slipped only because the heels of the sandals were not capable enough to take a grip. For a few moments I didn’t realize what had happened but when I found myself down on the stairs I felt so embarrassing.

Every eye was looking at me as if they were pitying me or mocking at me. We just got out from there and went back to the shoe store. I was surprised to find the heels of the shoes made of some cheap light wood without even a rubber heel.

The owner of the shop was also not quite cooperative. He told me that the max that he could do was knock in a piece of rubber heel to the base.

I didn’t have much option. I knew I was cheated but I wanted a solution. Could not just throw 1400 rupees in the garbage can hence agreed to the option. The next surprise came to me when I collected those sandals from them the next day.

The rubber heel was jabardasti hooked to the wooden heel which also came off in 2 days. I still have those sandals occupying space in my closet unused. They have my mobile number and I keep receiving messages informing about their sale and about their new collections which never lets me forget them. I feel like they are applying namak to my ghav.

Avoid citywalk

I visited the citywalk showroom at colaba and bought a pair of shoes from there. Not high heeled, but regular. They broke into 3 pieces in exactly 4 days.

That said, I found their styles to be mediocre, their colors to be tasteless, and their durability to be extremely poor.

Price range is alright, but definitely not worth a buy. These seemed like a good pair for everyday use so I figured i'd give it a shot. the store is quite well located, in the heart of colaba causeway where you find all kinds of odds and ends from souvenirs to flip flops to imitation jewelry.

All in all, citywalk was a less-than-pleasant shopping experience.

You're better barefoot on the sidewalk than shopping at citywalk!

Bangalore India
Stylish shoes, but poor quality
Oct 30, 2009 04:13 PM 6907 Views

I purchased 4 pairs of Catwalk shoes during the summer sales (June-July 2009), all from the two Lifestyle store's outlets in Bangalore. One pair of ballet flats, and three pairs of high, wedge-heeled espadrilles. Since the shoes were purchased on sale, they were all priced at upto 60% off, so that each pair was INR 400 to 500. The original prices were 1200/- (for the wedges) and 800/- for the flats. Despite their sturdy looks, the shoes are in fact of a remarkably poor quality.

The wedge heels, which are expected to give up to a year of wear, lasted me barely 3 months, and that too with sporadic wear. Closer investigation shows that this company uses a shoe base (heel + sole ) made of some cheap plastic, which cracks easily under the slightest stress. Since the soles are cast in one piece with the heel, it is impossible to replace or even repair them. Furthermore, the upper is attached to the sole by the weakest of adhesives, allowing it to become unglued very easily. Overall, these shoes, while being fashionable, are truely substandard indeed, being worth not even the sales price.

The flats have fared little better. There is no arch support, making them uncomfortable to wear, and the sole is once again of such a ghastly quality that it turned to shreds within 4 months of wear. In conclusion, Catwalk shoes are just not worth the price. Save your money, and buy just one pair which will last much longer -- from a different company!

I love the Quality!

I prefer buying the shoes from City Walk for its best quality leather. City Walk shoes are the one of the best shoes that lasts longer comparing it to the other shoes, they are so comfortable and light that one can even wear it for a long walk also.

They have a best collection of shoes, which are in vogue. They have a good collection of formal, casual as well as bridal wears along with the matching purse.

The showroom is excellent with full of new varieties. The staff is also very co-operative. They have a lot of varieties in cheaper rates as well as expensive once.

The best part of City Walk shoes is that they be open till midnight on the festivals.

I have been there more than fifteen times but the best experience of mine was applying the mehandi in a shoe showroom on the day of IDD.

A city walk shoes is a real quality shoes,it is not only a 'CITYWALK' but it is also a 'STATE WALK'.A quality of a leather is acrobatic. With the shoes are goo,the showroom too is nice.Citywalk has a shoes of good companies. If one wants a high quality shoes he has to spend highly notes. It's both the showroom is well developed also in a developed area.Today everywhere money matters,City walk is opened through midnight during festives..,he will make so much notes, there will be no place to keep it,then he has to make a new locker inside his showroom itself. No shoes can be compared with citywalk. This shoes will last for years.

I discovered citywalk on of my trip to Bombay. They are excellent and world class in quality. They have very large number of varities to choose from. I have more than 300 pairs of shoes and sandal but few sandals from citywalk are my favourite. The sandals are very comfortable and the weight is also not as heavy as others. I wish they also open a branch here in my country.

I would like to see them in one of the big malls here.

I bought these pair of shoes from Citywalk Shoes, and believe me they

look new, like I had bought them about 2 years from now.

The quality of leather is very good, infact there ain’t anything better than this.

But what I don’t like about Citywalk at Bandra is that the staff is pretty rude out

there. I think when I ‘m the one who’s paying then I have the right to chose, but

it doesn’t appear that way at the Citywalk Bandra. The salesmen there make you

feel as though they’re doing some kinda’ favor on us !

But, I would still recommend Citywalk shoes for formal or party wears. They’re the best.
