Chick, fil, A Reviews

Icky food, ickier management.

This restaurant is disgusting. The chicken I've eaten here has these gross white strings of connective tissue running through it. Never again.

I almost vomited during the first (and last) bite.

The facility is clean and the delivery process is quick. This operation adds something to the fast food business but for me, I'm not going back.

I thought the chicken (in the 3 forms I tried) was uneventful. Kinda dry, little flavor. Wendy's and Sonicburger are better.(And cheaper). When I got down to the end of my coffee, I got a mouth full of grounds. Yuk! The employees are clean and polite but their delivery is insincere and manufactured. Overall experiences there were unmemorable. I wish them luck.

Bad place to be
Jun 20, 2011 02:59 AM5644 Views

I never have such bad experience at this Chic fil A in my life. The employees are like zombies or just too plain tired to be friendly. They are rude to customers, too fake in calling people "ma'm" but NEVER have a smile to welcome customers. When I ordered by drive-thru at breakfast, the emloyee just glared at me, handed me the food at closed shut the window, without saying goodbye or thank-you. I was dumbfound shocked by that attitude.

Then, another time, when I ordered meal with coupon, the guy(in shirt and tie) told me the meal will come with free kid meal. I was glad and thanked him. After I drove home, I found out that there was no free kid's meal as he said, just a free small soda, that was it.

What kind of service was that? I called and the guy answered that phone said "What do you want me to do?" WHAT kind of answer was that?

About 5 months later, I received coupon in the mail, then I said to myself, let's give it another try. It all happened again. There was no free kid's meal with an order of adult's meal in my bag after I got home. I was too tired to come back. I called again, this time he said: " i'm sorry, so what do you want, you want to come back to get it?" It was raining, of course, I didn't have the energy to drive back, wasted my gas.

THIS is absurd. NEVER want to be there again in my life. It's a waste of gas, money and energy. HATES it forever.

We don't do a lot of fast food but when we do it is usually Chick-fil-A... I am hoping that they open one closer to us as we moved and now have to drive up to a mall to get it.

It doesn't taste really greasy and I love the chicken. I usually get a chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets. They are sooooo flavorful!! My mouth waters just to think of it..

We also get the fries.. waffle fries.. I love them. I like that they are big and not soggy. The food is always hot and never tastes like it has been sitting under some heat lamp all day!

My kids love the kids meals which have get toys. I have gotten books and cds a lot. We have also gotten info cards which are educational..

I also like that they close Sunday.. I have come and been sad to remember it is closed but I think that is great. Every one I have been to has had great staff and great food. I have been to ones in Fl and Ohio..

They do a calendar with coupons too each year around Christmas. We have gotten it with the cute cows..

Best Tea In Town!
Aug 01, 2006 01:00 PM5829 Views

Personally, I am not very impressed with the chicken they serve and the waffle fries are too thick. Their prices are too high as well. I wish that they had a wider selection of foods to choose from. But on the positive side, they make delicious sweet tea which is a southern staple! The brownies are very good for sure! The two particular Chick-fil-A's I visit are owned by the same person. He is really nice in that he allows you to come get free refills on your beverages anytime, as long as your cup will hold up, he will let you get free refills! When they make you an ice cream cone, they are definitely not stingy! I like the fact too that they are fast and efficient in getting your order up. The staff has always been friendly and never seem to mind refilling drinks that you're not having to pay for! HaHa!!! The main restaurant is located in an excellent location and it is easy to access it and get a parking space.

Moooove over hamburgers!

I personally do not eat out too often, but Chick-fil-A is my al time favorite fast food restaurant. I live out in the woods, and the closest Chick-fil-A to me is approximately 50 miles away. When I am able, I make a special effort to stop and enjoy some of their chicken.

I can remember when I was in high school, overtime we went to the mall, we ate at Chick-fil-A. And that was just about every week. It is so delicious.

These days, you rarely get a hot, fresh hamburger; maybe soggy bread, hard meat, too many onions, wilted lettuce, it always seems like there is something not just right. Chick-fil-A is always fresh, always hot, and always Oh-So Good.

My greatest comment on Chick-fil-A is the conviction of not opening on Sundays, allowing a day for rest. A day for church. A day for God. And you know, it does not hurt there business. They started little bitty. Look at them know. For their conviction, they have been blessed.

So when you see a Chick-fil-A whoop right in and get you some chicken, you wont regret it. It will be the beginning of a new conviction for you. A Chick-fil-A addict.

Great for fast food
Oct 30, 2002 07:20 AM6417 Views

They happen to be very good for fast food , I like the chicken nuggets myself . Service is usually very good and not a long wait at all .I have one close to my home and to my work ,that is very convenient for me. I like the fact that I can go there for lunch and have time to get back to work. The food is always hot , not like many of your other fast food that I have had to ask them to please reheat it or give me a freshly made food.As for the staff they know how to treat people,I have never had a bad experience with them at all . I have tried just about the whole menu , and no complaints from me . Good quick food and happy people . I think some of the other food chains should take a lesson or two for them . I must add very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get .

A good change from hamburgers....
May 25, 2002 01:34 AM12317 Views

It all began with the Cathy brothers, Truett and Ben in a little suburb of Atlanta Georgia way back in 1946.....

Let's start by saying that their ''fried'' chicken is not really fried. Actually the chicken at Chik-Fil-A is pressure cooked in peanut oil. This gives their foods a better taste with less calories and fat.

There are a bunch of choices here too. For example:

The original Chik-Fil-A sandwich. A pressure steamed breast of chicken, coated with well seasoned bread crumbs, served on a toasted seeded bun with pickles.

Or get it deluxe with lettuce and tomatoes.

They also have some really good Wrap sandwiches too. They come with chunks of their good chicken, mixed with lettuce, cabbage, cheeses and spices. They roll this up in a fresh pita wrap, with just the right touch of their sauce. You can't beat it.

They also serve chicken nuggets or strips. Which come in boxes of 6, 8 or 12 (I believe).

And salads! They've got a lot of those too. A chicken caesar salad is fresh crisp romaine lettuce, with croutons and strips of chicken with a great caesar dressing. Or you can go for the garden salad, which is fresh mixed greens, tomato, cabbage and shredded carrots with chunks of chicken. This comes with your choice of dressings.

Or you can go for their fresh chicken salad sandwich. Chopped chicken mixed with a touch of mayonnaise and chopped celery, served on fresh white or wheat bread.

They also have something unique to a fast food restaurant. Piping hot fresh chicken veggie soup. Big chunks of chicken swimming in a veggie broth with pieces of carrot, celery and onion.

To go with your food, you can get an order of waffle fries (small, med, or lg) Some creamy and tangy cole slaw, shredded carrot and raisin salad(yummy) or a plain tossed salad.

The drinks are the usual fare. All coke products, plus iced tea or lemonade.

Some of the Chik-Fil_a restaurants also offer desserts like cheesecake, lemon pie and ice cream.

All of the Chik-Fil- restaurants here in South Florida that I have seen, have been in malls. Usually in the food courts where you have your choice of 10-20 or even 30 different restaurants. I chooseChik-Fil-A a lot because it's really good, and you can eat for under $6.00 (US). And your kids can get a kid's meal with a sandwich, fries, drink and a toy for $2.99 (US)

So why don't you give it a try next time you see a Chik-Fil-A. It's a great alternative to hamburgers.

The Cows Have The Right Idea.
May 21, 2002 03:48 PM8944 Views

Let’s talk Chick-fil-A®! This is such a wonderful place to eat! The chicken that they serve will just melt in your mouth! It is truly one of our favorite places to eat. They serve piping hot chicken sandwich’s all day long, except on Sunday’s. This is because Chick-fil-A® allows their employees to go to church if they choose to do so. I like that idea myself.

Their menu consists of: Chicken! You can get it fried! You can get it chargrilled! You can have it on a sandwich or you can have it on a salad. You can get it striped or you can get it spicy. You can have it on a club or you can have it alone.

You can have it with mustard or mayo or none. You can it on white, rye or wheat! You can have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And you can have a side! You can have hash browns in the morning or waffle fries at night. You can have bacon with them at breakfast or you can have a sausage biscuit instead.

You can have a plain biscuit or you can have Danish with raisins. You can have cole slaw or you can have salad, plain. And you can have coffee, tea, milk, juice, Coke, lemonade or water to wash it all down. Heck you can even have an Icedream®, lemon pie, fudge brownie, cookie, or cheesecake with strawberries and cream.

You can get them in a combo or just a sandwich to go. You can go in and sit down or take your bag with you. You can even get something for the little ones in the bunch.

Is it good for you? You bet! Made from 100% boneless white meat of the chicken. Seasoned just right, pressure cooked in peanut oil and served on a toasted bun or not, you can have pickle or have them take it off. Heck, go for the Deluxe and get lettuce and tomato if you like.

I did mention chargrilled didn’t I? This is a boneless breast of chicken as well, marinated in special seasonings then grilled to perfection for your taste! You can go Deluxe with this one too! Or the club with bacon might do!

And of course their famous chicken nuggets, which is the family favorite, comes 100$ white meat too! You can get these in packs of 8 or 12. They even cater, can’t beat that!

Want a chicken wrap? Well you can get that too for it comes sliced in spicy grilled chicken with romaine and iceberg lettuce, along with red cabbage, Roma tomato slices and Monterey Jack! Rolled tightly just for you in a flat bread and spicy dressing. Or if spicy is not for you, you can go without that!

I did mention salad you know and you can choose from many. There is the Chargrilled that comes with Romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and Cardini’s dressing. Or you can get the mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots served with their new Basil Vinaigrette dressing. And even croutons to boot! You can even get a carrot salad if you really want to.

Want a chicken salad sandwich; well you can get that too! Always blended with fresh stuff that’s good for you. And don’t forget the soup! This stuff is to die for!

Want to party with chicken? You can do that as well with Chick-fil-A® party trays. You can get the nuggets or the strips or the finger sandwich or even the brownie tray if you want to. And you can get them in small, medium or large!

And here’s some of the Chick-fil-A® story for you. “It all started in 1946, the year after the end of World War II. Truett Cathy sold his car, combined savings with his younger brother, Ben, and borrowed from the bank to acquire the $10,600 to open the tiny, 24-hour restaurant called the Dwarf Grill (later renamed the Dwarf House) in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville. As the name implies, the restaurant was small -- with just ten counter stools and four tables. It was there, in the late '50's that Cathy began experimenting with different seasonings and a faster way to prepare great tasting chicken. By the early '60's, he developed the winning taste combination that would lead to Chick-fil-A®'s success.”

“In 1967, Cathy pioneered the in-mall fast-food quick-service restaurant concept by opening the first Chick-fil-A® shopping center location at Atlanta's Greenbriar Mall. Locating restaurants in malls also gave Cathy a niche that other quick-service restaurants did not have. That mall strategy was a solid base and has paid-off handsomely. Currently, Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwiches can be found in over 1020 restaurants in 34 states and Washington, D.C. - not just in malls, but free-standing units, drive-thru-only outlets, Chick-fil-A Dwarf House® full service restaurants; and at college campuses, hospitals, airports, business and industry locations, supermarkets and school cafeterias”

Chick-fil-A® is really big on education too! They offer a variety of scholarship programs for kids. And they support the sports. You can find out more of this history in any Chick-fil-A® restaurant. Normally they have an entire wall.

You can have a great meal at any Chick-fil-A® place. Lots to choose from and something for entire family. We really enjoy it. And, you can find them all over the place now days. And some come with a play ground for the little ones. And the best part about that is they furnish an employee to help watch the kids!

And don’t forget those adorable cows, they prefer you to eat more chicken as well. And you can now purchase those cows in any store. Prices do vary. And mind you the cows have no names because Chick-fil-A® doesn’t own them. I understand that the cows will always remain without a name. Until a little girl or boy has one or they’re very own and then of course that cow might get a name.

I also understand that they chose the dairy cows because they are the most recognized cows. They are also more lovable than other cows and they produce milk. And the cow billboard ads have become very famous. Heck you can even see the cows on television now! And keep in mind they don’t spell well for a reason. They have no education to do so. But I know my son’s teacher uses the words from the billboards to teach her class how to spell correctly. So see good comes all around with these cows.

So if you are in the mood for chicken, consider one of our favorite places. Chick-fil-A® I think you will be glad that you did.

I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.

God Bless!
