I had bought a Carrier Ac thinking of it as an established airconditioning company with nany decades in the indian market. But alas! my 2 Ton window ac started giving problem within the 2nd summer season. Gas got leaked within 1.5 years and after getting it serviced and gas filled by authorised service centre, it got leaked again in 3 days. Now the company is taking the complaint but no one is turning up for service since last 1 week.
Not only the product is substandard, their sfter sales service is pathetic. Do not buy a carrier AC.

I purchased career AC a year back, and only after 4 months of use, there was a problem of leakages of gas from inside, few months later it's compressor stopped working and it cost me some 4000 rupee to get it fixed for it happened after the warranty expired, the service men were also not able to give a proper justification for the issues with the AC and were unprofessional . Overall I won't recommend its purchase to anyone.
Service & Support: Not good enough, too much calls need to be done to get one.
Cooling: Average, better in initial days.
Reliability & satisfaction: Below Average, every 3-4 months issues crop up.
Value For Money: Average.

Carrier AC is worth not money as correction of small problem is like a herculean task. First visit of technician would be only after 4-5 days of lodging a complaint and it quite sure that problem will still not be corrected for AC. This is for new AC and I can think the plight when AC gets old.
Most unreliable product after purchase and worst experience to be associated with Carrier AC. Would not recommend the purchase because this is note a value for money and would lead you to repent the decision.

I purchased Carrier ac 2 ton one month ago from vijay sales. I got faulty machine after installation it started problem, I contacted customer care but did not get services after 4 reminders. No one take responsibility. I will advice please do not buy carrier ac. I do not understand why company is not concerned with the issue. Customer care service also poor. I will return ac whether I have bear the loss.
Nice AC. I did not face any issue with this one. Cooling is superb. There is one small issue which is that once u need to know ur room temp, u need to hold 2 buttons on remote control for three minutes.AC cooling very quick . I have no issues with that .but the customers service is ok not very good .they not resolve issue quicky . But the big thing is carrier provide Best Window AC in low price.

I'm a new customer from Nagercoil(Kanyakumari District). Waited and purchased your product believing that we get a very good service in our area. But today itself finding a worst experience on your service. As the sales executive promised, the unit was delivered on 07.05.2016. And when purchasing itself I told him, I need the unit to be installed on 08.5.2016(Saturday), since all the members of the family are working. But really I find difficult to contact your service people.
No one called me, The number given by the sales executive is switched off(9367524286). I was waiting from morning for the unit to be installed. Even tried the landline number(0462-420208) but no response in that number. Called your customer care and logged a complaint also. I'm really fed up with your service. Before installation if I face this kind of response, how can I expect a good response after installation from such kind of people who keeps their mobile switched-off? Ever the numbers available in the company website are not responding for the call.

I saw the carrier Window Ac in my uncle's home, it is giving so much hectic work to them, they are always called me to call to customer care, the response is very bad, they are taking too much time to rectify the problems, the response of the staff is verybad, some times they are intentionally cut the phone, it gives me anger and impatience, I suggested my uncle to choose another one, it is better to stay away with carrier
We purchased a 1-ton split A/c from Carrier. The A/C works fine and the cooling is also decent. The issue is the customer service we get from Carrier. I had called them from dismantling the A/C. I gave them complete info as to what height the compressor is installed in the building and that a ladder might be required. The technician came completely unprep and I had to spend my entire day to get it dismantled. Then for re-installation the technician is missing even after 48 hrs. Not even a call from Carrier as to when some one would reach my place. Called them up thrice. But everytime its the same answer. We have sent a reminder.
The call centre guys are always in a hurry to cut the call. One more factor is the charges. 2000 for fixing and 750 for Visiting charges. I would not recommend anyone to go for Carrier Products.
I am very very happy with my Carrier Duracool 1 ton Window AC. I had always been against buying an AC because I felt that I will get addicted to it. Then one will nor be able to go out and enjoy as you would want to do. I had sneezing bout also in the morning which I was afraid, will aggravate. I had to go in for an AC just for my Husband's sake. I didn't want him to suffer because of me , so I agreed. We got a Carrier 1 ton AC, window one , because ours was a small bedroom. Till now, I have to say 'Touch Wood' we have not had any problem with it. Our Dealers Ratna Fan House, T Nagar, in Chennai gave us four services during the maintenance period which ended last March 2008, but till now we have not had any problem or service for that matter.It is quite cool and my sneezing bout which had been troubling me all these days has vanished.
My husband gets nice sleep daily and I am also happy. But one thing that I was scared of happened, I have become addicted to carrier AC and even if my husband does not put it on I seem to be doing it daily. Only now I have got used to sleeping without AC because it is December and you do not need AC in this weather, but I have started sneezing again.

I purchased an Window AC Carrier Durakool 1.5 on 24th June 2007 from Thermoking, Lajpat nagar, new delhi (distribution agency : Viswa). I got problem of gas leakage in mid of July, I complained to Carrier customer care and also at my local dealer. I don't get any response from carrier I reached at dealers shop, he sent a technician with me to find out the problem.
Technician checked the AC and he said that it's a problem of gas leakage but he was unable to find out the place of leakage (may be it was very minor). He charged the gas and said that it may be possible that gas leaked due to some technical problem it is possible that it will not happen in future, and if problem is still there it will happened in 50-60 day in case of regular use of AC.
After 45 days the same problem arises once again, I did the same procedure of complaint once again. This time I filed complaint through internet also and feel really glad to get such immediate response from Carrier, I talked to concern person and ask for the solution which I want in form of replacement of a new machine (although I can understand warranty subjected to repair only during use of machine but what about that situation if dealer sold it with a defect), but the person from carrier told me that first it'll go through repair process and if is not repairable then I can ask for a replacement and I agreed. He sent a team from laxmi nagar to pickup my machine for repair next day I got my AC back with dent on its fins on front side and major dent on back side, Its base is corrosion free due to powder coated body but it has major scratches at its base during repair which may leads rusting in future also I found that performance of machine is reduced. Problem comes along with the AC from beginning.
It may be manufacturing defect so it is Carrier responsibility to replace the machine to ensure a customer satisfaction that problem will solve in within warranty period. I unable to understand why I suffer if I purchased it from carrier and installed by an authorized dealer. Where is my fault?. also communicate to Mr. K. P. Vaidyanathan and Mr. Nagpal (according to my information they are senior persons for customer support in carrier) regarding this problem but nothing happaned. Now it is a Junk of Rs.19, 000 I dont know what to do with it
