My friend bought a car from capital Honda Chennai and doing service at regular intervals, we were regular customers for the past 6 years and service were excellent, one main reason to mark the word excellent is they were so friendly towards customer as always even in flood time they intake the cars even other dealers afraid to do so, even though capital Honda Chennai had humongous load at flood time , they never denied customer to enter the vehicles, and not only at those time since after the reopen from lock down they provided ample support by fixing ac complaints with in 3 hours and clearly explained that root cause is due to some of rat entry which damaged the wiring, we are feeling much happy to do service in meenambakkam and will continue too in future.

The service section is worst. Trying to run with unprofessional customer relationship management and mechanics without proper work knowledge. Totally its a cheap place. They cause damage to my vehicle and argue so cheap trying to cover their mistake. DO NOT TRUST Capital Honda Menambakkam services. WORST than even any petty services shops.

The most thing i would recommend is that not to take honda cars !! The reason why is that i own an honda jazz which was been purchased in capital honda meenambakkam chennai


It got it in 2017 and with in 2 years the door got started to rust very badly !! All the 4 doors in specific


Then went i went to claim to same dealership there not even an step taken to solve it and give . I have nearly taken the car 3 times and they answer is we will reach u with in 2 days blah blah !!! All full stories to avoid !! Then till now they haven't still responded to me i am have an very very bad experience and cheat the costumer and they never satity !! Juts imagine an 2 year old care getting rusted and that the company does !! I please advice not to take an honda vehicle in furure !! This is the very worst experience ever i had investing so much money for an car aand in returning u get nothing .......... Very bad attitude hondaayou don't have an courtesy for customers need ..........

I had poor customer service experience from Capital Honda OMR.


My new car had faulty AC vent (back seat) during delivery itself. Also the door rubber seal has come out in less than a month.


I spoke to sales person Mani Siddu who handled delivery, who said if I inform in advance he will order parts accordingly. So first 2 services this wasn't done. For 3rd service, I carefully provided heads up 10days in advance. But this wasn't fixed in 3rd service too.


I wanted to complain about this. I was given a phone number of person named Karpagam from customer relationship, she didn't want to listen and gave another number of person named John. He said he will order parts and call back, probably just to keep me shut at that point of time.


Now all my free services are over, they probably deliberately delayed so that they can charge me for this during next service.


Honda gets bad name due to dealers like these. I will never go to Capital Honda OMR again even though it's hardly 2-3kms from my home. They don't care about these feedbacks too, if only they cared they will improve.

We went to Capital Honda Meenambakkam in March 2018, the sales person after giving details of Amaze petrol SO MT pride edition, convinced that it was the best car . We asked about the New Amaze facelift being launched he said it will be by September 2018 and anyways the price is going to be higher, but all was lie. We bought the car for 7.4 Lakhs. Now within 2 months May 2018 they released the new Amaze for much cheaper Price. When we went to enquire if we can get the new Amaze after exchanging the old Amaze which they cleverly cheated us with high price, they said that once the car leaves the showroom the depreciation starts and they can give only 5.5 lakh. Within 2 months we feel so much stupid for buying an out dated car for more money. They cheated us with 1.5 Lakhs extra money for the outdated clearance sale car. I suggest everyone to refrain going to Capital honda they give no respect or value to the customer once the car moves out of the showroom. FEELING STUPID FOR BELIEVING IN THESE CAPITAL HONDA MEENAMBAKKAM SALES TEAM AS THEY SOLD US AN OUTDATED CAR WITH HIGH PRICE.

Gave for normal service but unfortunately forgot to remove my pen drive. It got stolen. Try to contact


the concerned person, did not pick up the phone.


Car was not cleaned properly. Driver cleaned the car after delivery at my home. Gave lot of reason why it was not cleaned. Poor Service


Not sure whom to blame. I blame myself for giving service to this people. Unethical way.


No response from any senior management regarding my complain.

Guys never ever go to capital Honda OMR. they are the biggest cheats from my personal experience. I had made a booking for a new car and they are trying to sell me a car thats manufactured in Feb 2017. This was never informed to me until I got to know from the papers I was supposed to sign. Neither #Capital Honda# or direct #Honda# are ready to apologies for there mistake. they give me the same reply that I am supposed to take the same car as I didn't ask for a newer manufactured car. Also they claim that they would not disclose the manufacturing details unless the customer asks for it. kindly share this to all your friends circle. highly humiliated and frustrated with the Great #Honda# brand name and the #Capital Honda# OMR cheats.

This company service is very poor because not provide all information after but the car and phone support service is also poor.


This company staff is good, give all support for testing car and also give full information about any part of car but do not give any discount on any situation.


This company installment time is very short and installment payment is so high. This company is not give extra payment time for pay installment some time and some time take fine charge.

You are still alive to read this review! means you haven't visited Capital Honda Meenampakkam for your car service. Thank God, Thank your ancestors or thank even the late Mr.Soichiro Honda founder of the Great Honda automobile. His soul may not rest in peace after appointing such dealers in India.


Honda is such an automobile company who redefined a Motorcycle with their Honda Cub, Taught the world the level of refinement in 4 stroke engines & stands as a bench mark for every other manufacturers in the world.


Why am I writing all this you may wonder?. Because decades of Honda's hard work and thousands of its engineer's efforts are going to dogs by such cheep money minded creeps.  Capital Honda Meenampakkam tried a daylight robbery with me by quoting Rs. 50000+ for a simple 1000 rupees relay which failed in my car! Let me explain.


One hot summer day my Honda city A/C stopped cooling. Being an automobile engineer I immediately opened the bonnet and found a faulty relay. I would have replaced it for a mere Rs.1000 if alone its available in market. Thanks to Honda's non retailing policy I had to go to a dealer.


I went to Capital Honda Meenampakkam sharp at 9 AM. Explained the fault technically to service adviser, Floor in charge & Manager. After waiting for an hour they wanted my approval to check and replace the Compressor clutch, Compressor & Cooling coil. If I would have said'Yes" then I would have been billed for Rs.50000+. But I refused as A/C was working fine till yesterday and I know about a Honda.


Then the real show started. The whole mafia gang made me to wait hour after hour till 2 PM. After my repeated requests, Arguments & Shouting they finished the work and gave a bill for Rs.5000. I checked the bill it showed replacement of 3 relays, A/C gas topping up & electrical work. I asked the adviser to explain, he made me to wait for another hour. I lost all my temper and energy as I was sitting without food from the morning.


Adviser finally said all the 3 relays have failed and rodents cut the wire and they repaired it. I challenged him to check the relays for malfunction in front of me. Again he made me to wait for half an hour and sent a young mechanic with 3 of my old relays in hand. The young boy within few seconds pulled out 2 relays and replaced my old relays and showed me the whole system was working fine. Finally they billed me Rs.3000. Those few seconds was really needed for them to rectify my car's fault instead they dragged me for the whole day just to earn money. After coming home I checked the wiring it was intact as factory fitted and no repair was found done. About A/C gas top up? only God knows.


I survived a major operation five years ago and still living only due to honesty and ethics. I am unable to digest and forgive such inhuman act by a Honda dealer who made an age old patient to starve a whole day.


I AM WHOLE HEATEDLY CURSING THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS, NOT THEM ALONE BUT THEIR WHOLE GENERATIONS TO BITE DUST.


HONDA AMAZE - PETROL VARIANT - INFERIOR QUALITY

I bought honda Amaze, Petrol variant 2016 model recently.


I was shocked to see that the car bonnet gets very very hot after 5-10 mins run.


When contacted the dealer 3 days from date of purchase they say this is normal behaviour. I verified this in other Honda Amaze cars purchased recently and this is not the case.


It's very shocking to see a Honda dealer sell a car which isn't quality tested or of inferior quality.

Staff was told all of best finance plans and the service and supports was excellent and there price was very low compare with other dealers totally Service and staff Support very excellent.  Then the finance place also very well.

This is after the chennai floods. 3" water went inside my car.


It is 2months now and there is still no proper response for when i could get my floor mats replaced(default fabric mats). Initially when i gave it for service, they did nothing.


They refused even to clean the interiors. I took it to 3m and they did a good job in 1hr. But to replace the mats i have to wait for capital honda. How can one drive a car with it stinking inside. I asked them atleast to remove the floor mat and give it to me so that i can clean it myself. They are even refusing to do that. Even the service manager gives no proper response. Always says it will come tomorrow, day after, etc. Useless.

I had given my Honda City for a 55K service on 6th Jan'15. my complaints were:




  1. Noise in the front right side wheel when I run on potholes




  2. Horn has to be replaced




  3. Headlight alighnment for left side light




  4. General service of oil change






estimate was given as Rs.5000/-


I get a call on 6th evening saying that they have noticed the front brake pads were wornout and would last only for another 500kms. I appreciated their eye for detail, however he said it would cost about 4500 and another 1250 for disk skimming, as this is essential. and additional labour of 450 for break pad replacement.


I chase up with Senthilnathan and he tells me at 5:30pm that Brake pads were out of stock and he will get it the next day( 7th Jan). and when I enquired about the status of the noise that has been coming when running on the pot holes, he said he will check only after replacing the brakes, and said the vehical would be ready for delivery on 7th evening.


Today, 8th Jan'15, I go to their workshop in OMR road at about 12:30pm, and they make me wait for 45 mins before giving the delviery of the car. taking the vehical out with good intent, I just took a turn out of their gate and realized the first fault. the horn was as bad as it was before. immediately, I turn back and ask the service engineer what is this. hje gives a cool reply saying they did not have stock and have just adjusted the same.


my question is. why was I not infomred about it?, they had all the priority shown for the brake pads and skimming, but did not give importance to my request of something that I have to use on a daily basis? well, that's the attitude they have shown.


I felt cheated and was consoling myself that these guys have messed on this area alone. however, my doubts starting coming up. I quickly referred to the invoice and saw a charge of AC Disinfector. immediately I opened the dashboard and pulled out the AC filter that is placed above the foot area of passenger seat. To my surpirse and as expected, the filter was with enough pollen to make their claim ridiculous.( see attached picture). I call back this Senthilnathan and he gives a reply loaded with attitude " my assessment is that we have done a clean up and it is clean".


I am yet to check if the headlights have been corrected and also want to check if the noise is coming. plus I will have to check if they have actually changed the engine oil and filter component.


People, and specifically people at Honda cars. you need to understand that service centers are not money making spots. if this is the kind of attitude then its time you stop putting up your brand name at these looting centers.


Total bill I have paid for this service is 11, 418( 7699 for parts and 3719.12 for labour charges). and all I feel is that I have been cheated to every rupee charged

Honda unable to provide tentative delivery date

I booked a Honda mobilio in August 2014, with the  Dealer at  OMR - capital honda - Aadit auto; during booking they specified tentative delivery as 15-30 days. on completion of 15 days I called them for status. the response was lackluster.  I kept my efforts till 25th day to call and get the confirmation of delivery; in between I visited personally to get the update. then on 26th day  I raised the issue to Honda customer care with sales feed back form. Honda customer care allotted a number.


I use to follow up with this number - the customer care will escalate the issue - then they send e-mail stating dealer will address - dealer will say they are not getting any affirmative information from HONDA; this process is going on till now.


missing the delivery schedule is one part; but the entire HONDA is unable to give a tentative delivery schedule even after one and half months of booking is not up to any standard.


I am waiting for their tentative delivery schedule first, then expect to deliver the same as per their schedule already they missed their delivery commitment once, now they are not ready to commit a schedule.
