I like to introduce myself my name is Oscar Royan Martin so I visited Canara Bank kgf branch on Monday 10/02/2025 around 12:00 p.m.boz of my father A/C to change the mobile number and they said to come on Tuesday again I went on Tuesday same time wait for 2 hours and they said me to update Aadhar mobile number after this conversation today I went I ask with the people the Aadhar card mobile number has been updated and they said to get my father is age is 76y today also they waited me almost 2h there is no proper response and did not they inform us also they are doing they own jobs we are in the Q there is no proper communication and proper customer service and proper response from this people and to change the mobile number we need to wait so many long days and so many hours this is not proper response from the Canara Bank so in my family we have almost like 15 accounts in Canara Bank and we have NRI account as well as so this is the way Canara Bank have given the service to as anyone go through this message and please check the camera date and timing also what is happened there 14/02/2025 @ 3:00pm to 5:00pm and in the future we are planning to start a business and we are planning to open a current account for the business purpose and my dad is having this account since 12/05/1977 and we have almost like children's 20 to 30 years account has been holder in Canara Bank so this is the response which speak order today I am really fed up with this and attitude please go through this message I need a reply for this message this is the worst service which have happened in my life in the bank sector and the manager there is not fit for a manager for this branch and there is no proper staff also and they call police and police cop is threatening me I am your customer I am investing my money in your bank this is the response what your people have given to us if you want to close my all the accounts I'll close all my account as well as my NRI account so please take strict action against this people you will come to know when you see the camera footage and there is no option online to make an update of mobile numbers this is clarity given from the employees and there is no proper Q also over there and there is no proper maintenance of the Canara Bank...


So thank you wonderful service what I got it today I never expect this one from Canara Bank

The bank is okey overall, but getting a loan took way too long, I had to go back to the branch multiple times because of missing documents. Plus the app freezes sometimes, especially during. transfers. If the service was a bit faster and smoother the experience would be much better

I have never seen any worst service like Canara. I have other banks Axis, HDFC - Very good service from thier end but Canara their network is poor, lazy bank labours & without any reason blocking accounts. From today onwards i'm not the customer of canara & recommending you not to gp with canara.


Better you can go with Axis / HDFC

Sorry to say all the managers of Canara bank that they don't have knowledge about any latest banking system neiither they are trying to learn , only they know how to sale insurance and mf product to client.


I am a nre account holder . they don't know how to despatch renewal ATM card to client in overseas . It takes 6 month time even after 50 to 60 reminder and follow up in mail to different department .


Requesting higher authority to give proper training and periodically send to private bank on deputation .

Last week, I visited my home branch of Canara Bank Hal, New Tippasandra, Bengaluru to inquire about a gold loan. I was told to wait for 5 to 10 minutes, but this quickly turned into a full hour before I was finally able to speak with the appraiser, who explained the requirements. When I spoke to the branch manager, Ms. Kankana, 974 I was surprised by her lack of concern for customer relations. She didn’t apologize for the long wait and simply told me to keep waiting until the appraiser arrived.


She later gave me her number to coordinate the required documents for the loan. Over the weekend, I messaged her to confirm if I could visit on Monday, and she told me to message again Monday morning for the exact timing. At 10:30 am, she confirmed I should arrive by 11:15. Yet, at 11:12, she called, asking why I hadn’t arrived yet, even implying they couldn't wait for me. When I reminded her of the hour-long wait I’d had the previous week, she responded rudely, insisting I be on time and then disconnected the call. When I called back, she didn’t answer.


I arrived at the bank at 11:21, only to find the appraiser with another customer. I asked if I’d have to wait, and he said yes. When the manager approached, I expressed that her tone was uncalled for and requested respect for my time. Instead, she told me to "shut my mouth and sit." I felt humiliated and chose to leave.


This experience was witnessed by the appraiser and another customer, but no one intervened. Such behavior is unacceptable. I feel discouraged from visiting the branch again Canara Bank Hal, New Tippasandra, Bengaluru ] and am even considering closing my account. It’s disappointing to see Canara Bank’s reputation potentially affected by this kind of unprofessional conduct, which I would caution other customers to be aware of.

Very pathethic almost awaiting in ATM for cash withdrawn of Rs. 10, 000/- after awaiting for 40 minutes bank staff is saying they do not have cash to load for the ATM Machine, they have indented.


hope we are not residing in the village, This happened in Canara bank Southend branch.


if they are unable to service, why do the keep open the ATM.


they should display a board saying it is not working,


waited and wasted unncessarily 40 minutes

The employees of this bank was testing the patience of the account holders.


I have go to the bank to get the ATM card . The used to tell me come tomorrow like that. They tell me same thing for 3 days .


Finally I took my atm card in 3 days.


One more problem is the employees of thise bank in my area dindn't have enough patience to listen the problem of custimers. They used ro answer with rudely and they treat customers like nasty fellows.


These are very suffering . Finally printer problem majorly I faced months to gether I asked to print rhe passbook they ised to tell like printer not working.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Canara Bank’s Chalakudy branch. I applied for a travel card in early August 2024 and received it at the end of the same month, only to discover that it has an expiry date of October 2024—barely two months from the issuance date. This short validity period, combined with the ₹16, 500 deposit I made, makes the card almost useless for my needs as a medical student studying in Bulgaria. The overall service has been quite unsatisfactory, and I urge the bank to address this issue promptly.
