Ck perfumes are the best found till date, be it ck eternity, obsession, ck shock, all of them smell heavenly.

my personal favourite is eternity as it is so light and airy, you just need to spray a little and the fragrance stays for a quite long time. best for evenings and night parties.

I also like it because its versatile and does not smell very strong.

it comes in several packings depending on the price and quantity.

I use this perfume for daily purpose and I donnot feel any fragrance when I apply but I receive so many compliments for the same.

its perfect value for money. must try!

Delight to have this fragrance

I had this perfume bought for me, and I think its amazing!, its lasted so long as it has a very strong but not too overwhelming.it has a very sweet musky smell which is perfect for day and night! its perfect as a gift for some no matter the occasion as it isnt a seasonal perfume like some can be.! its even worth it if you feel like treating yourself, as the smell of it instantly lifts your mood. definately a confidence booster as the smell is so flattering.

I would recomend this perfume to people of all ages, and is great value for money! the perfume will last ages as you dont need to spray that much, and it lasts on you for ages unlike other perfumes!it is a great oppsite to the mens ck into you which ist stronger, but if worn when you are wearing this perfume the smell is heavenlly! I would reccomend this perfume to everyone.!

I'm not one to stick with the same fragrance for very long, I tend to go through phases depending on the time of year and whether I want to wear it during the day or in the evening. I first heard of this fragrance when it was first released a few years ago, but it didn't really register with me until some time later when I tried a tester spray. I really liked it so I bought the smallest size available.

As with a lot of fragrances, it's hard to describe the exact smell of the fragrance, but I would say the most noticeable scent is a strong fruity smell, but not citrusy like most fruity perfumes. I also get a vanilla aroma, but this is very light and understated. The last main aroma I get is an almost woody smell which I find balances out the fruity smell very well.

I found the perfume to be very versatile, it was great to for use during the day as it is light and airy, but it also worked very well for evening use as the fragrance is nice and strong without being overpowering.

I was once told that if you suit a certain scent you shouldn't be able to smell it on yourself. I'm not sure how true it is but I can never smell it when wearing, but I seem to get a lot of people commenting on it. I can always smell it if other people wear it and it always smells good.

I bought the  spray which is available in 20ml, 50ml and 100ml. Also available is a natural deodorant spray, skin moisturiser and a body wash. When I bought the perfume there was an offer running to get a free moisturiser which I also liked. It absorbed into the skin well and the scent lasted for a long time.

Price varies depending on where it is bought from. I tend to shop around as the difference can sometimes be very large.

It's not particularly summery, I would probably recommend this fragrance more for autumn use as the woody undertone would suit that time of year perfectly.

Somethings are for eternity
Feb 26, 2004 08:03 PM 5709 Views

Calvin Klein launched Eternity in 1988, unlike some of it's counterparts from that decade Eternity has lasted the course. When ever I think back to perfumes launched in the 80's I always end up thinking about the more ''in your face'' perfumes such as Dior's Poison, Calvin Klein's Obsession and Yves St Laurent's Opium, this could well be due to the fact I had friends who practically bathed in all of these perfumes. I of course might have been guilty of sporting the odd subtle squirt of Obsession from time to time!

In the decade that saw the rise of the yuppie, power dressing and a society that became more and more of a throw away society,it comes as a surprise that Calvin Klein attempted to market Eternity with the help of some wonderful black and white stills as a perfume inspired by the whole concept of ever lasting love and intimacy.

The perfume was supposedly blended using a range of classic and contempary scents to produce a perfume that reflected timeless quality and a modern style. Given that this perfume is now 15 years old and still one of Calvin Klein's best sellers they might just have got that right! As the by line in the adverts states ''as long as intimacy goes on so will Eternity''.

Most perfume sites classify Eternity as a romantic, floral perfume and for once I am in agreement. Eternity is one of those perfumes where you will get people asking ''What perfume are you wearing?'' and you'll also get a fair few complements. It's the kind of perfume you wear when you're feeling confident and contented with life. It's understated, but in the same breath screams class.

As with all Calvin Klein perfumes the packaging is very understated and minimalist. With a cream box which does not hide the fact it's made of recycled card. Along the top in grey lettering you'll find the name Eternity. It's subtle and to be honest I find over dressed perfume packaging rather off putting - I tend to shy away from ''in yer face'' looking perfumes. On opening the box you'll be greeted with a bottle which is very art deco in style. Given the decade it was first manufactured in the simplicity of the bottle is rather surprising. The only slightly unsubtle thing about the sleek oblong shaped bottle would be the silver T shaped lid which incorporates the push down sprayer. But having said this it is in keeping with the art deco style Calvin Klein was so obviously after. One word of caution the push down button can be very stiff at first.

Eternity is a blend of the following notes: mandarin, freesia, sage, narcissus, lily of the valley, marigold, jasmine, rose, amber, sandalwood, patchouli and musk. With a blend such as this you really would expect a very floral smell and slightly heavy smell. Thankfully this is not the case with Eternity.

Eternity on first spraying can only be described as awful! I walked away from the counter rather disappointed the first time I tried it. The first thing you notice on spraying is a rather odd smell, slightly metallic mixed with a musky fresh tobacco smell. When I mention tobacco I'm talking about the odour you get when say you smell a packet of rolling tobacco not the odour that unfortunately clings to the clothing of us smokers. It was after about 5 minutes when the top notes had died down I noticed a slight change in the smell. Gone was the metallic smell I could practically taste, the tobacco smell had most definitely gone but it still smelt odd and decidedly musky. I was going to put on my never to try again list in all honesty till after 30 minutes I had another sniff. By this time the perfume had obviously settled down to produce a very subtle light fragrance that was now rather pleasing to my discerning nose! It a light slightly fresh blend of floral/earthy aromas with just a subtle hint of musk and patchouli.

Eternity is one of those perfumes where thankfully given it's smell on first spraying you do not have to keep re spraying. I've worn it to work and it's light smell is still evident some 8 hours later. This might be due to the fact I have the more concentrated Eau De Parfum so I'm unable to testify to the staying power of the Eau De Toilette but I would not have thought it would be that much different.Given it's staying power and the fact you only need a couple of squirts to smell good a 50ml bottle should last you well in excess of 12 months.

As with all designer perfumes Eternity comes with a range of accessories: Eau De Parfum and Eau De Toilette - 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles, shower gel, body lotion, deodorant spray and soap to name a few.

With a recommended retail price of £36 for 50mls of the Eau de Parfum it is definitely advisable to shop around to pick up a bargain.I have seen it in various shops recently on special offer for about £27. I was lucky to get mine on Strawberrynet.com for £16.95 including postage. Unfortunately this offer is no longer available but you can still pick up a bottle on their for under £25.

Eternity Forever

The well-known designer Calvin Klein launched ETERNITY in 1988. It has a refreshing, flowery fragrance.

Eternity has a very romantic floral fragrance. I just love how light and fresh it smells. It’s a floral blend of white lily, white floral, marigold, mandarin, amber, and sandalwood.

I received Eternity as a gift from my Dad; hmm one more perfume in my collection as soon as I smelled it became one of my favorites. Well I received many compliments also. You really feel great when someone say’s, Wow “You smell good”.

As we all know Calvin Klein is famous for so many products, like Designer Jeans, Casual Sportswear, Body lotion and the best perfumes like Eternity, Obsession, Escape, Contradiction and the list goes on.

Eternity is the perfect combination of timeless quality and style.

I recommend it for daytime wear.

It has its own smell try it you will definitely love it.

Eternity - well it is an absolutely gorgeous perfume. I purchased a bottle a few months ago while I was in Duty Free and wore it every day since. It's finished now, lasts about three months. Although it is a little bit expensive if you are on a budget this perfume smells delicious and gives you that special feeling every time you wear it...

The perfume is nice and light, not overbearing at all. I hate really strong perfumes that you can smell a mile away. Eternity is nice and light and the fragrance lasts for quite a few hours.

This perfume is great if you want something nice and light and need a perfume that can be used both for evening and daytime wear. Not really for someone who doesn't want to spend that much but if you are going to treat yourself, buy this one!

Eternity really stands out for men. Once you use it you will be tempted to use it regularly...

The bottle is quite nice as well!
