Cafe Coffee Day, Bandstand, Bandra, Mumbai Reviews

They have very little space
Feb 04, 2019 05:43 PM962 Views (via Android App)

Cafe coffee day is everyone's favourite and thats so obvious. So this ccd is located in bandstand and as we all know vandstand is famous for a lot of things like salma and srk, tourist place and obviously our couple's favourite spot!

So as it has so much of importance ( especially for couples) , we are having a couples favourite spot which is nothing butbCafe coffee day!

Couples can spend time together here and enjoy each other conpany with a nice yum cup of coffee!

But I think, this cafe is just way too small! Like hardly 6-7 people can sit which is way too less. And according to me this is the only problem with this cafe.

Otherwise it has got a good and decent location and also thier coffee is nice!

If they can do anything with the space then it would be wonderful!

Bandstand the fame of bandra is located in the suburbs of Bandra- Mumbai. It is towards the sea-side. From there u can see the beautiful sea, the view of the worli sea face and the famous hotel taj land end. At bandstand is another attraction of bandra thats the bandra fort. Its a wonderful place to hang out at. It used to be very clean & tidy. But now this place is not maintained like before. You will see waste thrown anywhere around. Also the walls of the fort are made dirty by writing all rubbish on it. Its become like a lovers point now which puts a bad impression on little children. Its a nice place but can be even better if it was properly & strictly maintained.

Love the place
Sep 24, 2016 05:12 PM1747 Views (via Android App)

I had got a chance to meet my friend near Bandstand. My friend works in the CCD that is nearby that place. I went there in evening. I was totally fed of the heat in mumbai then. As I came here I felt as if I have got some energetic drink in my body. And I was feeling so energetic. That was due to sea shore weather. Even I could see lovely couples spending their splendid time with each other. It was such a beautiful scene and the add-on was Kooka during this nice weather. I bet, I never enjoyed cold coffee ever as much I enjoyed sitting aside bandstand in the CCD. Lovely experience. Its a go go place.

Tasting Coffee Along Sea Side!

This Place Is Bang Opposite To The Beach!

One Of The Finest Locations!

It's Always A Pleasure Coming And Having Coffee Here!

Administration Is Great Too!

You Will Definitely Spot An Actor While Sipping Your Coffee!

such an astounding area and what a perspective from this spot. Just wow!

So we requested for a chicken tikka sandwich and smoked chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were to a great degree heavenly.

In any case it wasn't legitimately loaded down with chicken. I have had sandwiches of other cafés also and they are full entirely well. The taste was great however stuffing could have been something more

The cofee world

The ccd is very nice and injoyable place . if we talk about coffe in which ccd is always stands on the top.it has many types off cofee those are so tasty. and it also provides so many food items for us  . the internal invironment of ccd is so pleasent and well comfortable . the internal internal environment of ccd much better than other restourent.but ccd are not available in normal towns.

Food items of ccd are so fresh and tasty. ccd is so populer in india because of its taste . in ccd the temperature is well comfortable .well manage its sitting items. and the size  of the ccd well sized neither very wide nor very  small.in which slowly melody songs played by it. so custmer injoyed the music and food together.the staff of ccd is good and calm.

They always attend their custmers in well manner. and in which service of food pretty fast. no one custemer have not need to wait for  their order.i think it has not need to reservation for their custmers .without reservation ccd system pretty good. so I advised for all restouerent goers plz give preference ccd. because it has much more their ambitious.

Worst taste of cafe chino
Jul 04, 2016 02:40 PM2116 Views

Customer service is so bad of CCD and I do agree with this because one time I had enter to visit with my friend business partner to talk some about my business works. I order 2 café chino to drink but I really say it is very worst taste and I had never tried like that café chino in my life but it is very costly and I never drink costly café chino. I think their people have to go only do time pass and to fun over there and I really hate CCD.

Staff just talk to each other if you order anything it will take ages to come and they don't mind if customer will cancel the order and leave as they are busy talking with other staff . Worst place to go with your family .

Place to sit for hours without ordering.

I have recently noticed an increasing amount of reverse snobbery when it comes to coffee. Sure everyone likes Coffee Day, it's cheap man, that's all that counts.and it's just so much fun to do a bit of barista-bashing, purely because our wallets prevent us from actually sitting there.

But if we're actually talking the quality of coffee, then the truth is Barista coffee is a whole lot better. I've noticed a couple of people mentioning the Bandra Bandstand branches of Barista and Coffee Day.now there is a prime example of contrast.

Everyone likes to sit at Coffee Day and peek over at Barista, scoffing at the show-offs who are only wasting their money.and then the next set of show-offs who come and sit down.and then the next.and then next.and then your coffee-day coffee arrives. folks, that's how it is.you sit and you wait for your coffee.and then you wait.and you watch as each set of happy barista-goers come and go and there you are, still waiting for that cheapest-coffee-on-the-menu.

It's not even as if it's a pleasant wait.Coffee Day has the misfortune of having one of those touch-screen type juke box thingys where you can'choose your music', and then end up spending the rest of your time(which you are supposed to have alot of anyway if you're sitting in Coffee Day) listening to everyone else's, usually along the lines of some sop by Chicago which your parents listened to when they were like, 10, and even THEY grew out of it.

Worse than that is the fact that the time it takes for your chosen song to grace your ears is even longer than the appearance of your coffee! And scarier still is that little sign on it for people who actually want to play a song.you have to pay 5 rupees for some obscure code number at the counter. ooooh, the counnnnterrrr.you know, the one you have to WAIT at to place your order.then the one you have to WAIT at to get your coffee, the one you have to wait at to receive your change and now you want to WAIT to pay for a song that you're never going to hear? that takes courage.

Ofcourse while you wait there's always the viewing pleasure of the fat-guy in the back who grinds away at your coffee a la sweat-patches-under-the-arms, as his skinny counter part in the front, after much stammering and stuttering and misinterpreting of your order then chooses to ignore your presence because he can longer cope. and when things get really bad, they just pull the plug on the mains as an excuse and scuttle round the back to hide until a couple of people have left.

But look on the bright side, atleast it stops the music.

Ok, so there are a lot of people and alot of coffees to be served.that's understandable.until one day when you're rich enough to amble into Barista and almost go into cardiac arrest to discover one single small smiling man calmly moving around behind the counter fixing everyone's coffee with ease and a warm smile( even before you've decided to buy a coffee). A welcome change from the smile you see on the faces of the Coffee Day staff which can usually be sighted once you've left.

Seriously it's shocking.one man handling a whole cafe( and it's not even as if Barista is empty) while some 6 men are flapping behind the Coffee Day counter hyperventilating.

Then ofcourse there's the fact that Coffee Day shuts its doors in your face by like, 11pm just when you need that late night coffee.

Coffee Day has also invented the Take-Away-Coffee for an even more discounted price.yay.but only because you no longer have to pay for sitting in its delightful ambience(i.e. glamorized waiting room). So basically if you get a take-away coffee in the blistering heat and the cafe is empty, and you suddenly realise that maybe you DO want to sit there after all and take in the sweet buzzing sounds of the mosquitios facing a grizzly death in the electric bug killer suspended on a corner wall, you can't. because it takes less than 2 seconds( a whole lot less than the time it takes to make your coffee) for half the staff to hysterically shoo you away like some dung-fly.

Then there's the very coffee itself. To be honest, Coffee-Day coffee isn't bad.especially for its price. I wouldn't go so far as to say the coffees in both places are exactly the same because they are not. But Barista coffee does have the advantage of extra flavour and not being so heavy on the stomach as coffee day tends to be.

Lastly there's the overall feel and look of both cafes. maybe it doesn't matter to what the cafe looks like as long as the coffee is good, but it is glaringly obvious that Barista has the upper hand in this respect. The colour scheme, the lighting, the general graphics and packaging, the way the coffee is served, in what its served and even how its taken away is far more aesthetically pleasing than the multi-coloured tube-lit waiting room next door. Your palate or your wallet. and then there's the wait.

It is a all new revolution we eat and drink.Cafe Coffee Day is now one of the best place to drink coffee of exquisite taste and flavors. They make coffee in all new way which revolutionized the cappuccinos and espressos which we make in our own coffee machines. The snacks provided in their stores are a bit overpriced and better to be accompanied with some good cake or samosas if they suits our taste.

Café Coffee Day is a coffee shop for the young and the young at heart. We're part of Coffee Day Global Limited.

We source our coffees from thousands of small coffee planters. They and the many plantation workers have truly made us who we are today and we're glad to be a part of their lives. Popularly known as CCD, we strive to provide the best experience to our guests. To put it plainly, we brought in the concept of cafes to India(this is where you thank us!). The first one opened in 1996 on Brigade Road in Bangalore and continues to be one of the most happening places in the city. The young and the young at heart immediately took to the plac

Cafe Coffee Day

Café Coffee Day one of the famous outlets in India . They are famous for their different types of coffee’s and it is very famous among the youth  . I went to an outlet of Bandra near the Bandstand with my friends, the ambience was superb, this outlet is very famous as it is always crowded with the youngsters . The tables outside, facing the sea promenade add to a different experience all together .

The light rains, high tides, the sound of the white waves crashing on a dark night, lends to a beauty, difficult to explain in words . A small place but still an awesome place, the service is decent, a nice place to hangout with friends and do masti . CCD one of the best place to have coffee . Cool blue, Chocolate fantasy, Sandwiches are quite good really liked it . The best thing is they are having too many combos available which can help us to save our money . Best place to hangout with friends or with the loved one’s during evening or in night, it will be an amazing experience . I would like to rate 4 out of 5 .

The Coffee makes it Perfect
Oct 30, 2014 01:52 AM4320 Views

Amidst the ever busy life in Mumbai, sipping a cup of coffee with the waves in front of your eyes is no less than a dream come true. And this is where this outlet of the popular coffee chain fits in perfectly.

I've always been more of a Baristan than a CCD loyal. But I must admit that out of the two present here just next to each other, I like CCD the most. Surprisingly, I love the coffee and mostly the light bites like the Toasteeza that you get over here, unlike the others.

However, what's more attractive and appealing at the same time is the location which happens to be a sea facing one. This is another reason behind the never-ending footfall over here. One always has to look around for a place to sit. What's more interesting to notice is that here service is faster than the other outlets in spite of the unending rush,  that too without compromising on the taste bit.

Good work guys.

Cafe Coffee Day, yer friendly coffee situated in all possible corners or yer city...

Be it ccd on Bandstand, situated next door to barista where u can sip yer coffee watchin the waves dance across the street...or be in ccd in Call city centre, where its jus nother hep coffee shop in a hep mall..it is the one n only, the very same....yer very own ccd...

It's easy to fall in love wid ccd....be it their hot or cold coffees....becoz it strikingly similar to taste no matter which ccd u go to...

It's one of em places, u go to chill after college, or u go with yer date...or to jus chill!!!

Thnx to the jukebox ; QJAM, u can play songs, dedicate em ....weeee......lotsa fun...

You can just sit there for hours n hours (umm...after tht pal I think they'll show u out...)

Their prices r reasonable....but u know u go there n have their coffees, not their snacks....

They r not particularly good with the sandwiches or nethin else on the food menu....but I do like their chicken spagetti!!

Cold coffees, hot coffees....they rock in this division!!!

You cannot miss a ccd...it all bout good times, good coffee, n good company....n yah good memories!!!

The guy who serve around.....they r pretty friendly...but I guess service is one thing that varies frm ccd to ccd....

Good show

Cafe coffee day. Poor mans Barista... it used to be, but now I think its gaining in reputation. It stands apart as a separate chain and can seriously hold its own against the more famous barista.

Frankly I dont see much difference in the tastes. the difference is in the cost of the coffee. Barista is almost twice as expensive, it makes one wonder why anyone would visit it? Is it for the Hip value (you cant put that beyond bombayites) or is it simply loyalty ( I know some nuts who do this).

Service.. well here we have a difference. The Barista staff I feel are more aloof, curt and not so customer friendly as compared to the coffeeday staff. It almost seems that the barista chappies only smile when u pay them.

The atmosphere in coffee day also is more relaxed. I like that. If you go to band stand in bandra we have coffee day and barista rubbing shoulders. Its a great place and I really like the way the staff behave with the customers. they are smiling all the time, they seems to recognise you if you go there more than once. These small things make a huge difference. on the other hand, next door barista man, seems bored to attend to you. makes you feel like you are begging for coffee and that he is doing a great favour by serving you. I didnt like the experience one bit. I gave them another chance, but the attitude has not changed.

thats about it. Coffee day is good, and I hope it stays that way.

Great place to hang out
Nov 05, 2002 12:17 AM3214 Views

I like Cafe Coffee Day because, I have a soft corner for it. I was a part of the legal team that was responsible for the chain to make headway in Mumbai city. We did the deals for most of the properties in Pune and Mumbai and by God's grace the cafe is doing great. Of course the fee that we charged was small but it was worth giving Barista a run for their money.

What I really like about the place is

1) Price. This factor beats out all other cafes in the competition. Such as Barista. If you come to Bandstand, Bandra, Mumbai you will find that Barista and Cafe Coffee Day are right next to each other. But if given the choice people would prefer Cafe Coffee Day and not Barista.

2) Great Service - the staff at Cafe Coffee Day are sweet to talk to and not interfering. Suppose I were to sit at Barista for five minutes without having a cup of coffee on my table I'd have three guys hounding me. But at Cafe Coffee Day the people don't bother me or hinge me. That is one more thing great about this place.

The disadvantages are the properties are small. Barista has acquired spacious properties so it does not appear to be overcrowded and claustrophobic. Secondly at Cafe Coffee Day the prices are half that of Barista which would obviously mean that the coffee quality is not that great. You can feel it. If you have a Cafe Latte in Barista and a Cafe Latte in Cafe Coffee day the difference in quality is vast. But hey for 20 bucks if you can sit for hours with your girl and while away time if you have it on your hands then who cares about quality. Right? Three years back we thought the best coffee that there ever was, was served in Chennai. Right? Who knew about espresso or cafe latte or a capucchino for that matter. I did because, I was in London a couple of years back and I had my first capucchino at Picadilly Circus. But here who ever knew about the various types of coffees unless they were frequenters of the Taj or the Oberoi.

Overall, I'd give this cafe a thumbs up and I'd say that it is the place to be. Drives in young crowds and for the price conscious guy who wants to have a great date with his girl and talk at the same time - CAFE COFFEE DAY is the place to be.
