Cafe Coffee Day, Ballygunge, Kolkata

The CCD ballygunge branch needs to better train its staff. Before occupying a table which had previously been joined for 5, I had asked one of the employees whether I could sit on that particular table since there was an additional table and three other chairs joined with it. They assured me it was not a problem and neither did they remove the extra table and chairs which I did not need. I was alone and planned to be at the cafe for a while since I needed to work. Half hour later, a group of 5 enters the cafe and while the entire cafe was almost empty they fancied sitting where I was sitting because the chairs seemed more comfortable than the others. Instead of seating them somewhere else, one of the employee comes upto me and asks me to move in the middle of a skype call because I was "occupying a table for 5". It was very clearly NOT a table for 5 and just like where I was sitting any of the other two tables in the cafe could have been joined. Yet, I was still asked in the middle of my work to move to one of the other tables while the other group stood before me, waiting for me to pack my bag with smug looks on their faces. If the cafe was busy and I was keeping the employees from entertaining other customers it could still have been acceptable if I was asked to move, but this behavior on the part of the staff was downright insulting and rude when the entire cafe was almost empty. I would request you to train your staff better and not go around insulting customers before others.

Cafe coffee day is one of the leading chains of coffee makers all over. It has many outlets in Kolkata.

The CCD outlet in ballygunge circular road is one of the busiest and most crowded CCD. It is located in the busiest road so parking is a problem here.

I went to CCD ballygunge outlet last weekend with my friends to hangout.The CCD was crowded but fortunately we got seat for 4.The ambience is very peaceful and pleasant.  The decor is soothing.

Staff very polite and humble.We ordered cappuccino, smoked chicken and frappe. Smoked chicken was delicious and well prepared.

The cappuccino was perfect. It had the perfect blend of Coffee and milk and sugar. Loved it. It was very relaxing. We all friends had a great time chatting there. Would revisit the place surely.
