One of the finest natural conservatory in India, more commonly known as BNHS. BNHS is India's largest non-government organization dedicated to conservation of biodiversity.


Associated with BNHS are some famous name, including ornithologist Salim Ali.Housed in the suitably named building Hornbill House, they conduct various research and publish them to enlighten the nature lovers.


Some of the rare exhibits include the well-known'Purple Frog', the first Indian Canopy Frog and the first Asian Leaf Folding Frog which are at display at the BNHS. If you're not a member, you'll require prior permission to visit. A temporary membership can also be acquired in case you're interested in activities conducted by the society.All in all, If you're a nature lover, it is definitely a must visit place.
