Issase sasta aur achha aur kahi nahi.

Though I don't find any exiting things to purchase there.

I always visit the mall but don't purchase more.

Really Its 10 acre mall but I don't really like to buy anything from here not even grocery.

That's my point of view but I would say strategy could be changed if there are changes and I really like the statement of Big Bazaar that "India, you have decided the price!" So I am sure that I ll keep visit the place and have trust somewhere to get something exited.

I hope their new concept affect my mind and mood that I do start to visit that place again to have something new and exiting.

Parking facility is good, I always found the same kind of decoration and ambiance there. That don't attract me.

Big bazzar "big cheatings"
Oct 21, 2009 01:16 PM8304 Views

Friends I am also the victim of bigbazar cheating schemes I regularly take visits of this market as it is very near to us and in a big mall so when ever we visit 10 acres mall we visit bigbazar also some days ago I note that they put up the scheme on frooti they are proving 3 frooties in just rs 10/- I surprised but when I checked that the all frooties are expiry dated and no body is checking that when I complaint rearding that to store incharges he says that it makes no diffrence it is expired just 15 days ago thats why we are providing that at unbelievable price I shocked to know that .

this diwali I make a purchese of juices, biscuits and coldrinks from there they are providing a 500 ml fanta apple free with cococala any brand big bottle (1.5 ltr & 2 lts) I take 1 coke of 2 ltrs from there and asked about the free fanta to attendant over there he told me that you can get that after billing from customer care desk I paid the bill of rs 1489 by credit card and ask about the free fanta at customer care desk now.

They try to manuplate me that this scheme is not on 2 lts but on 1.5 ml only so you cant get any thing free with this coke I told him that I ask about the same to your attendant over there if there is no scheme on this coke why he told the same to me over there he say I dont know I cant provide anything if you need that free you have to return that at other counter and than make a credit note from there than purchse 1.5 lts coke from store again stand in the line again for 1/2 an hour adjust that credit note againt the amount of coke than only he can provide th e fanta free scheme, now I under stand that how they are making fool to their customers

one thing I noted in their invoice that they charged me by 7 rs for charity to some ngos I dont understand that how can they do charity with the money of their customers without asking them. when I write about this whole matter to their mail id I recieved a call from store that your 55 rs is deposited with us you can make purchese anything from there this is the limit without feeling sorry they only refund my amount in shape of purches only shame on you big baazar same on you

"stop" "look" than enter in big bazaar

I am one of the customer of Bigbazaar from last more than two years and I am making all my purchases from Ahmedabad , Kankaria 10 Acers mall branch my average purchase of per month is Aprox rs 5-6 thousand per month from this store and never I had any problem with this store but yesterday what happens with me is not only shameful for them its for us also. yesterday night I make a routine purchase of some necessary items in which one item is “Gillette presto razor” I saw a board at their rack that buy two razors and get one free and at the same place Gillette razor are hanging .

I took 3 and many other items with that after complete billing, I come outside the store and when I checked my invoice I found that store persons charged for all 3 razors instead of giving me one free of cost. I get inside and complaint against that to same person who make the bill now the problem begins, he checked in his computer first than ask me to collect the refund from customer care desk I said it is your duty to check all schemes first than make the invoice and if you done it by mistake than it is your duty to arrange refund its not mine

after making lot of arguments, he go to customers care desk and said it is not possible to refund if you need you can take one more razor I shocked instead of feeling sorry that guy insisting me to cover up his mistake. I than contacted Mr. Priyank who is at the desk of customer care he is so rude. he have no adicates to talk to customer he told me that this scheme is not applied to this razor, I shocked again that what it mean than why you hanged a board over there if it is not applicable.

He started shouting in front of 100s of customers when I refused to take razors and ask for refund he ask a guy to collect all 3 razors from my purchased items. Now the shameless thing is that my wife is outside the store and store staff treating us as a thief and opened all three bags in search of just 3 razors because all three razors are packed in three different bags by their efficient staff. all customers are looking to us, their security guard and two more staff are doing here and there to all my purchased item I feel so guilty at that time I have to wait aprox 45 minutes to take just a refund of 48 rs which is charged by their staff because of his own mistake 100s of people are seeing us as a thief and that customer care officer mr. priyank is hopeless guy instead of doing anything he started shouting on me in front of many of customers present in the store at that time

This was my last and final visit to that store I hope that you can understand my problem if any one you are on my place I ask you a question that what would you like to do with them

Is it big in every way?????

Initially, I was really happy wen big bazaar first opened in Ahmadabad, looked forward to my weekly trips. But after a few times I found out that they had a very limited product range, the staff was poorly equipped had little knowledge of wat they had in store and were really reluctant to help. At times I would wonder whether they were really interested in selling there stuff or doing a favour on me.The sales girl clutter in a corner, chat and giggle and if you ask for help, you get a cold stare in return.

One wonders whether they have a big 'heart' at big bazaar. Not only that, whenever there are sales announced, they hold only empty promises. the bags and clothes are of absolutely cheap material, anything useful is never on sale and in order to attract people they have compromised with quality. On sale days the place is dirty, cluttered and chaotic.

And with the coming of reliance mart, one can really see wat a good mall should have, and wat big bazaar lacks. Great variety, excellent range, well priced and well maintained. Way to go!!!!!!

Ahmedabad India
Sophisticated & planned cheating
Aug 15, 2007 04:05 PM8186 Views

Big Bazzar very frequently announced Sabse Sasta scheme customers lends in a costly proposition at the end due to their art of business. On and average one third of the products rates / schemes displayed are not updated on their servers and there are no checks exists. T

his is my third experience in raw, where in average bill og 10 items, in 3 to 4 items discount were not passed on. They also accept (including store Manager at Himalay Mall) mistakes happens and they refund to the customers who turns back & complain. It is my personnel experience that even if per bill if this amounts to 10 to 20 Rs.

Than what would be the gain of big bazzar at the end of day and as same what would be loss to the customers. According me this is nothing but **cheating.

*Pricing could be agrresive but all these are low priced - low footpath quality items except food bazzar.

There are no sensitivity towards customer's concern or may be poorly managed- I would say customer service is "BEYOND REPAIRS". Obviously this is not the place for the people who are brand concious.

CHRISTMAS CHEER- BAH, HUMBUG!
Sep 11, 2006 11:05 AM6517 Views

It was the 24th December, 2005, Christmas Eve. I was impressed with the array of products, display, discounts etc that Big Bazaar was offering. A visitor to the city and the mall, I had expectations. We were not dissappointed and got to shop alot at reasonable prices- all that was missing was the X'mas cheer, I had to wait while 3 attendants at the ladies section bickered and argued amongst themselves over shifts etc. I decided to stick it out & be patient- but, my resolve crumbled when I went to the gift wrapping counter. She looked at me all sullen faced, I put on my best 'christmas is here, ho-ho-ho' smile, but it did not work- the next thing I knew, she dumped the packages and said- "Mein yahaan yeh karne ke liye nahin hun...waise bhi bahut zyada hain"- I was shocked, and before I could react, she was jabbering in Gujarati to her next in kin, across the counter! But, it was Christmas, and God sent me an angel, and he made sure I got it alright- but, the next time ure there- scrooge is lurking in the guise of a female attendant!

Training shop floor assistants is not just about 5-phrases in English, but, also about customer relations and dealing with stress- especially when you KNOW that a few days in the year WILL BE stressful.

BIG BAZAAR-Isse Sasta aur Ghatiya Aur Kahan
Sep 13, 2005 04:52 PM9221 Views

Welcome to the Big shopping format! Which I truely beleive is still a long way to go. I have visited Big bazaar in Ahmedabad as well as in Nashik. The experience of shopping in such a big mall is good, you do end up buying things you need as well as most things that you might not need. But BEWARE when you are buying clothes, food items and bags, from my personal experience and of certaiin others - the quality is third rate. Clothes get torn after Second or third wash (Possibly because they are pusshing old stocks!) Food items like rice and rawa - you might just find a few stones! Yikes- god help those who have a weak eyesight and a stomach. I myself had purchased a glass item and found it defective, when I went to return it - they refused to take it back saying you should have checked it sir. This defect is a minor one and can only be found on careful inspection-so much for quality. I recommend Star India Bazaar which unfortunately has opened recently only in Ahmedabad. I am staying away from Big Bazaar. I suggest you all tioo shop with caution at these places.
