I had always purchased Baggit bags, belts and wallets either from Baggit outlets from malls or Shoppers Stop outlets in Mumbai. Last month I was looking for a beautiful Travel Pouch and wallet and I was informed by the stores guy tat its not available at the store.
So I ordered it online and loved it. This month I ordered one belt and when I received it, they had not removed the plastic tag fixed to the belt and it hurts. I called up baggit and was told by Mr Chirag tat he needs to check the other belts and if its manufacturing defect I will get replacement. Then I was informed tat only the baggit outlets have the expertise to remove it not the people who manufacture it.I was asked to go to a nearest Baggit outlet to remove the plastic tag.
We order something online for convenience and still we have to make a trip to the retail outlet to get it removed then I dont see any sense ordering it online. I made so many calls to the Baggit Team seeing my number they ignored. I spoke to one Ms Simone who expects tat we should listen to her first and it seems she manages the Facebook Page of baggit where the standard customer service reply of Sorry for the inconvenience. After making many calls, I was transferred to Mr Roshan who assured me tat if I order second belt tag will be removed when I receive it. So I ordered second belt, I received the belt with the plastic tag. I called up Mr Roshan to confirm, he told me tat without plastic thing the belt cannot go out of the online store.
If he was not aware of this y did he tell me to order the second belt. Mr Chirag doesnt even know tat Baggit belts comes with a plastic tag which we customers cannot remove. Mr Chirag thought its manufacturing defect later on he was educated tat it needs to be removed and can be done only by the baggit Retail Outlets. Mr Roshan was unware tat belts cannot go out of online store without the plastic tag tats y he told me to order second belt. Ms Simone handles the facebook page so watever complaints we have will go to her and she will at the most tell sorry for the inconvenience or may be just ignore the messages.
Second belt order I did not receive any courier details which was purposely done to harass me. Neither there was a warranty card inside. All these things just to harass the customer. First time I dealt with Online Team of Baggit and it was really a bad experience. For a Rs 425 belt, telling to go Baggit Retail outlet, then telling order another belt return the previous belt, receiving the second belt(Rs 340) with same plastic tag and some people not even aware tat such a plastic thing is there assuming its a manufacturing defect. And Baggit is very smart tat they have only given contact details which either will go to Ms Simone, Mr Chirag or Mr Roshan. So if we want to escalate there is no way. First time I am coming across such a bad team.
All I can say is ur online team is useless and I wont and neither suggest anyone to buy online products as buying something online u still have to go to retail outlet to remove the tag. Mr Roshan telling me tat he will send someone at home to remove the tag which is a typical marketing statement as I dont have any faith in ur online team and wont order anything online better to go to a baggit store and those guys are really helpful.
I was so fed up with the attitude of Baggit online Team tat I told Roshan tat I will keep both the belts. I was not interested in posting something about baggit on such a forum . If baggit Team would have provided me a escalation team contact details, I would not have posted this. But all the mails goes to Mr Chirag, Ms Simone and may be Mr Roshan so no use of sending mails. I have decided not to buy anything online from Baggit better to go to stores and buy it.
