I am back again to share about the best hotels to visit in Mumbai…

I had visited to many but among them very few are the best that are kailash parvat and bhagat tarachand, hey these are two king hotels where people hangs a lot……

Hey if you like to have buttermilk…then bhagat tarachand is the best……….believe me that no 1 can compete to its taste…and its taste is so great once you have it you will forget to drink pepsi and all such kind of stuff…….

And if you are fond of eating Punjabi dishes then kailash hotel is the best….

You will really have a great time by having its kolhapuriiiiiiiiiiii…….its so amazing and it is resided in every posh area…where sometime you can also find some of the stars also…………

So when you are free and hungry like anything…………then don’t waste your time in selecting the place just visit these two…you will be very satisfied…………

Only Jain food forced down everybodies throats

I am writing this review about Bhagat Tarachand restaurant on the Mumbai Nashik highway i.e. NH-3 at village Kasne, near Jindal factory. You cannot miss its peculiar balloon like structure on the highway.

Previously, they used to serve very tasty vegetarian food so on our recent picnic to the Tansa forests, we decided to parcel some breakfast from there. We ordered regular Upma as opposed to Jain Upma. Imagine our disappointment when in the middle of the forest after eagerly opening the food parcel, the Upma turned out to be sweet. For a moment I thought they had packed Sheera by mistake but that was not the case as I discovered a few peas and curry leaves in the concoction. Can you believe, there was not a single sliver of onion nor any mustard seed'bagaar' in the Upma. Even then, based on previous experience, I thought that Bhagat Tarachand had mistakenly packed Jain Upma for us. Never mind. One mistake can be overlooked. At least it was piping hot.

On our return, we decided to eat the Thali meal at Bhagat Tarachand. By this time after a humid walk through the forests, we had built up a hearty appetite and were eagerly looking forward to the meal. In the past, the Thali there has been very good, wholesome and tasty. Alas, it was not to be .

Yet again, even though we specifically ordered regular Thali, we were served a meal devoid of onions, ginger, garlic, infact devoid of any taste. The meal was bland, boring and most unappetising. Onions and pickle were served separately but that is certainly not the same thing.

It became increasingly obvious that Bhagat Tarachand are cutting costs by serving only Jain style meals to all.

Worse was yet to come. The Chaas(buttermilk) did not even have salt, let alone pepper or any other garnishing. The grand insult was that we were billed for additional items we did not order, let alone consume. When we protested, the waiter nonchalantly said, well dont pay for those items, as though this is a regular feature.

Needless to say, we will not be dropping by at Bhagat Tarachand again. At least at truck drivers dhabas, one can expect the food to be tasty, to say the least.

Go for baghat tarachand, vashi.....at any time. 4 km from railway station and 2 km from vashi bus depot. This hotel is near mafoi market and back side of nanumal hotel.

Mouth watering food are available and served hot on order.the chaus are served in beer bottle.good for middle and high class people.one problem is a/c is not effective with full occupancy.

But people here are good kind and serve with most care and respect. Go early for brunch otherwise u have to wait in queue to get seating....no reservation through phone.

Car parking available. Daily special will be displayed outside before entry... This hotel is special in providing jain thali...Enjoy with family, friends and lover..Excellent place to give treat your fiance, lover, wife, , and many more...as u like..Take your family in weekends and enjoy the specilaties they provide..Good seating arrangements outside for waiting.enjoy panwala near this hotel.dont take icecream which is outside this hotel.

BHAGAT TARACHAND – UNMATCHED VALUE FOR MONEY [VFM] VEGETARIAN FOOD IN MUMBAI

If you are ravenously hungry on a busy afternoon in the heart Mumbai, head for Bhagat Tarachand (BT). To get there, walk up Kalbadevi Road from Metro, turn right at the Cotton Exchange, and to your left you will see a series of eateries named Bhagat Tarachand. All are equally good and serve similar food, so you can sample them one by one on your numerous visits and decide which one you like. You can also walk up from Crawford Market, through Zaveri Bazar, past the Gold Exchange and Mumbadevi Temple; or from Bhendi Bazar via Pydhonie down Kalbadevi Road. In case you live in the suburbs, get down at Charni Road station, walk down Thakurdwar Road and turn right at Bhuleshwar and walk past the Cotton Exchange. Don’t try to drive down – you’ll go crazy negotiating your way – and besides a brisk walk on a hot and humid Mumbai afternoon will build up a voracious appetite and rapacious thirst – sine qua non for total enjoyment of a delicious nourishing meal.

The first thing to do is to order a “beer bottle” of chilled chaas (buttermilk) to quench your thirst and soothe your parched throat. On your first visit sample the delectable thalicomprising varied vegetable dishes, dal and melt-in-the-mouth chappaties. Once you are hooked on, on subsequent visits you can experiment with the variety of rotis and vegetarian delights in Bhagat Tarachand’s culinary repertoire. Each and every dish – the dal fry, paneer bhurji, methi malai mutter, bhindi, even baingan – is superb. Both tastewise and pricewise, Bhagat Tarachand is unmatched – it’s the best value for money vegetarian food in Mumbai.

Once you have relished your hearty meal, leisurely stroll down (digestive walk) past the Cotton Exchange and Panjrapole towards Bhuleshwar, turn right on VP Road towards CP Tank and soon you will reach Bhaishankar Gaurishankar which serves the most delicious lip-smacking rasgullas in Mumbai. As the luscious heavenly syrupy delights melts in your mouth you will experience such a fantastic blissful ecstasy that words cannot describe. A perfect ending to a perfect meal!

VEG FOOD AT ITS BEST

For all veggies, the name bhagat tarachand is a mouth watering affair!!!

I have been a frequent visitor to this restaurant when I used to reside in town, also,Iam very glad to inform all those who dont know that this restaurant has opened another center at Shanpada in Navi Mumbai.

Now I reside in New Bombay and this restaurant has been the pick ,everytime we decide to dine out.

The food is best I have tasted compared to other restaurants (I have been to shikara, aangan, chenab etc in new bombay) esp. the chana masala which is my favourite and every time I go there this has to be my default choice.

The other dishes like baingan bharthas, methi malai mutter, rice dishes and practically all the dishes are just mouth watering and finger licking in taste.

The ambience too have improved drastically at new bombay with AC's and Non AC's options available.

Dont forget the salted lassi which they serve in beer bottles, makes it a real enjoyable experience.

Also the tariff too are reasonable which makes it all the more an enjoyable experience

I would advice all to visit this restaurant and iam sure you would vouch for what I have said so far.

Best Vegetarian Food In Town .... !!

Bhagat Tarachand is a totally indiscreet Vegetarian restaurant, with fifty percent ambience, 100 percent food quality and 100 percent value for money. Firstly, to get there, you have to get through either the Cotton Exchange lane from the Bhuleshwar end, or through the road from Jama Masjid and TBZ, Zaveri Bazar. There is no parking available and make sure you get into the right Bhagat Tarachand (there are 3 of them in a row, owned by 3 brothers). The recommended and best of them all is the first on the right from the TBZ end, or the last on the left from the Cotton Exchange end.

You have to climb up spiral-like stairs from the side of the main entrance, to reach an air-conditioned hall. You may have to wait 10-15 minutes at dinner time and definitely on a weekend - Sunday is closed. The ''Yellow Dal Fry'' is a ''must-order'' and probably the best you can get ANYWHERE and at any price. The special ''Chapatis'' are, again, piping hot and fresh, the best style you can ever get. You can even order a bottle of ''Chaas'' on the side. ''Bajra'' and ''Makai'' rotis are exotic and thin, ''Sev Tomato Bhaji'' and ''Paneer Bhurji'' are also excellent. A dry side-dish is also recommended here - ''Bhindi Fry'' is another dish which is exclusively excellent. ''Aubergines (Brinjal)'' deep fried till crispy, are only made here when they get the right quality, which is very irregularly available. If lucky and not sold out, you must try the tongue-tickling ''Gajar Ka Halwa'' and ''Rabdi'' for dessert.

The trip to and from the restaurant is enduring, but more than definitely worth the meal, not to mention the quick and efficient service.

P. S. By entering ambience as one of the ''cons'', it refers to the surrounding and locale of the restaurant. The air conditioned hall is good enough for family lunching and dining .... Though much has to compromised and adjusted with, for a wonderful and sumptuous meal.
