Hello guys I am going to share my real time experience with autocad software because when I was working as an design engineer in industry so at that time I am using the autocad software and it make me to design the electrical layouts very smoothly.

So starting firstly from download and installation experience of autocad software firstly I went to autocad official website and just you need to filter the condition of which software you needs because autodesk as many software based on user needs for example autocad for civil design and many more in there list to go you can check all there software lists.

So now coming to autocad electrical software once you go to autodesk website just type there autocad electrical software and it will open all the autocad electrical software based on different version so you can download as per your needs but I suggest that always go foe the latest version because they have lots of new features and the user interface is also the more attractive one so at that time I had downloaded the autocad 2018 version.

After download the software autodesk provide 30 days trial period for user to use that autocad software but no need to worry guys they have one more feature for students that student can use autocad software for 3 years how can you used that, I am going to share now .

firstly the student need to register themselves as a student in autodesk website once you open the autodesk website you can see that student registry pop-up then provide all your details as they ask and provide your college name as well and than after completion of process than submit your details then by 1-hour they going to mail you the login credential for your students license of autocad software than by just login with the students credential in autocad software you can use the software for 3 years.

So now once downloaded the software you can design all your electrical layouts likes:-

1. single line diagram.

   
   




2. power diagram.

   
   




3. control diagram.

   
   




4. General arrangement of panel.

   
   




5. All your terminal details diagram.

   
   

And much more you can design in one place. The only things I personally not like about the autocad software that it not provide automatically ferrule number to the connection we need to write manually each ferrule number to every connection and only because of this things my design is being late.

I hope that this automatic ferrule numbering features they are going to enable to the latest version of there software like in eplan software they have this features.

Now coming towards that when I was to design my electrical layouts I had used all the commands in the software and all the commands have there shortcuts key as well that makes design so fast and interesting like to be very honest once using the autocad software you gonna love to design your layouts.

And after all your design get completed autocad software provide your folder that your desings are going to save there so in future whenever you need them you just to open that folder or whenever some modification comes than also you can open that folder and do your modification basically all your desings are organize in very specific manner you don't need to worry about your deign and all the things.

So this all about my experience about autocad software that I had used for my electrical designing works.
