No neat & No clean Look of Haritha Valley Resort
Jul 15, 2017 05:19 AM 9837 Views

We stayed at Haritha Valley Resort from June 9 to 11 June 2017. The Bathroom toilet basin is so dirty with patch works to look at though it is washed. The beds are full of bed bugs. So much of money is charged but it is not as per the money.

Swimming pool under repair. At first I booked non AC but after seeing the negative feedback of the non AC rooms then I cancelled it and then booked AC rooms. Though I re-booked yet cancellation charges against non AC rooms were taken though I request for full refund as I booked AC. So when you are very strict of rules then as per it the place of stay also should be maintained.

Araku valley is the one of the most and beautiful tourist attractions for the visitors. I had travelled from Hyderabad to araku valley through the train. My journey with my family to the araku valley on the summer vacations is very interesting and enjoyable. The places had many hill sloples, and beautiful landscapes with many water ponds and beautiful scenaries to look. The environment and the atmosphere here makes everyone happy to enjoy with that environment and we can find varities of plants, tea, coffee etc. the araku valley trip is very fantastic and enjoyed a lot with my family. It's also the safety place for viewing different parts of the valley, the water valleys and beauty spots in the valley. The hotel accommodation is very good and the food was very delicious and they provide all necessary things for the hotel booking.

Araku valley is a treat for the people who love to travel and explore. It is well connected so it is easy to go there by bus and train, it is at a distance of around 114km from Visakhapatnam(Andhra Pradesh). Must visit sites are Borra caves, Ketki waterfall, Film shooting site, Coffee plantation, Tribal museum and Coffee house. After reaching there you will get enough tour guides and people with different tour packages of Araku, so you better be smart and choose your package and guide wisely. You will not have any problems for accommodation there as many hotels of different ranges are available there. Dishes to try there are bamboo chicken, chicken seekh kabab which are available at every tourist sites and lemon rice which you can get at any restaurant there, and if you are a coffee and chocolate lover then araku is heaven for you guys because there at the coffee house you will get the finest coffee and variety of A grade variety of chocolates.

One more thing, coffee house organises tribal dance every night, which you can enjoy after dinner. The most important thing, keep enough cash while going to araku valley because as it is a tourist place and have hundreds of tourist visiting everyday ATMs run out of cash some times and local vendors and shopkeepers are not very much aware about online transactions. In short it is a very beautiful place you can go there with family and with friends also.

My holiday in Araku

The best place to visit in winter.Me and my friends started from vizag. To see the Aaraku valley beauty most people prefer train to reach there, because there are so many caves while travelling in train you can see and enjoy.we reached there at11: 00 a.m and we hired a taxi to katika waterfalls.People who love trekking will enjoy it.The water was so cold and after some we went to borra caves, famous for stalagmites. It was very dark and crowdy, so many people came to see that naturally formed caves.Tourism department installed electric lamps that made more beautiful to see inside. After we went to chaparai  and Tribal museum. My suggestion before going to Araku better to book room in hotel/resort otherwise it is very difficult to find a room.

Araku is one of most beautifull place in india. In araku there are somany places to vist like borra caves water falls coffee lands rivers etc.train travelling is better than bus travel there is shooting spot valleys everything was like awesome.coffee was the best part in travelling there you get the original taste of coffee.araku was situated in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.300 kilometers from vishakapatnam. In train travelling you will definately get goosebombs there are tunnels in regular intervells.water falls are awesome in train travelling full of greenery and cool climate there temperature is around 15 to 20 in summer.araku gives you fresh feel. But, the maintainance of hotels and restuarants are poor.costs are heavy because it is soo far from city.In araku some hotels are good.check it out to plan to visit or to experience araku.

Tourist attraction
Feb 18, 2017 03:17 PM 10712 Views

Two years back I went to my grandmother's which is in Visakhapatnam. Our family members planned a trip to explore Araku valley. It is an amazing place that I have ever experienced it before.

Araku is one of the best tourist place in Visakhapatnam we can visit this place through train. Ap tourism is offering rail and bus tourist packages. Get a private vehicle for comfort.

Araku valley is famous for Borra caves. steps are constructed to climb up to water fall.

Chaparai is a place to relax with beautiful landscape. There is a free flow of water which is surrounded by a forest area.

Coffee spot is another interesting place here you can get different variate of coffee along with some snacks.

Tribal museum unveils the culture of the tribal people. Here there is an opportunity to sail in a boat in the pond. They sell their tribal Bamboo chicken so, you can taste if you are a non-vegetarian.

It is not safety to travel alone as it is a hilly area and surrounded by forest.

But I am disappointed to say that here there no hygienic conditions in the hotels. They charge ticket for each and everything else.

So, if you want to visit this place get a pocket full of money.

This is review about varaku valley.Araku valley is one of the sexy sight-seeing places in vizag. As per memory, I have visited almost every sight seeing place in vizag and that was almost 5 years ago. When you visit the araku valley you feel you are in heaven, with all the greenery spreading around. It can be compared to kodaikanal, goa and other places. I really can't forget the moments I was in araku valley, the shooting of udaykirans gajula song was directed there itself.I visited almost every scenery of vizag, the best scenery I think is araku valley, there will be a small river flowing over there where you can enjoy for some time.I recommend everyone once in their life visit vizag.

Galikonda hill rising to a height of 5,000 feet(1,500 m) is one of the highest in Andhra Pradesh. The average rainfall is 1700 mm, bulk of which is received during June–October.

It's 140+ km far from vizag. Go for an APTDC one day visit bundle which is reasonalble, just Rs 800+ for every individual. It's likewise called Andhra Pradesh ooty. Greenery and passages. Exceptionally grand and wonderful.

In the first place if all I compliment you for picking such a wonderful place. You will appreciate a considerable measure in prepare travel by going through 52 burrows. At railroad station you discover taxicabs/taxis for nearby excursion. You can lock in. Rates will be sensible. Spots to visit are tribal exhibition hall, coffeehouse, chaparai water falls and borra holes, Galikonda see point in transit. At that point you can rest your night remain at Tyda visitor house. Take note of: The region will be extremely chill and you won't discover Mobile signs, right around zero signs.

Attempt bongulu chicken( chicken arranged in bamboo sticks) without oil. Exceptionally top notch and popular, dry chicken. It's a tribal valley full. There is a tribal historical center as well. Go to araku mind somebody who knows or take government tourism Package. It merits going to. Purchase espresso powder which local people develops there

Fare thee well. Wish you glad trip.

Mar 15, 2016 08:22 PM 19158 Views

Araku is located in Visakhapatnam district. We went to Araku in 2008 taking with troop. We enjoy more and more in Araku valley.

In our journey we feel displeasure as Araku park is in disposable manner. For that we feel displeasure, but we disport ourselves in the journey from Borra caves to Araku in the bus. We only prefer to journey with family members to Araku to disport ourselves more and more. Next time, our journey to be pleased with ever recollection of Araku.

We were on a project work to Vigaz and had 2 days off. Having seen much of the Vigaz by then we decided to explore the Araku Valley.

This place is famous for its breathtaking valleys, coffee and spices plantations, tribal culture, borra caves and the tribal cuisine.

We reached there by 1 pm, it's around 125 kms from Vigaz and you can take a bus or a passenger train.

We had already hired an guide online so we started our journey.

The first place we visited were the borra caves, this is also known as Raati Godudgu which means Umbrella.

This million of years old cave provides an magnificent view of the nature's beauty.

Then we visited the coffee plantations and tasted some wonderful coffee.

I suggest you take the grounded coffee powder back to your home as its very cheap out there

And when I call the aptdc no. they told me that the Rail cum road packge is cancelled and closed for next 1 month due to there agreement issues with IRCTC. And when I asked about my ticket they told me that I have to go by road(bus) by showing that ticket. What to do now??
