This review is on the basis of only one month's horrible experience with AOSmith,
AOSmith operates in India as two different entities, one is'AOSmith' alone and another as tie up with Jaquar that is called'AOSmith-Jaquar'. This review is for'AOSmith'.
I have read few comments which people found helpful, these are not from any customer but from company persons only, whatever is written in review comments is specified in their pamphlet also So just Be Aware, ground reality is different.
Customer service is not even at par. Whatever customer care guy will commit does not mean that actual workers working on field will do that, it is their discretion(yes, this is what I got from customer care officer!), after many follow ups technicians were not taking any action and Customer care officer gave me mob. of that guy and asked me to call him directly! which is absolutely absurd.
Also they advertise that they do free installation, which is not the reality they are just fooling people. they just do wall mounting(make holes in wall and hang the geyser!), for rest all work(which is the main thing) you will to call plumber and pay for that and Plumber takes the full amount irrespective that it is wall mounting, which they say they can do. So you will not finally save anything, On this point they are just fooling people to sell their product.
Fortunately, I had purchased only one unit from AOS however my requirement was of 3, after actual exp. with AOS, I purchased other 2 units of other renowned brand.
After use of one month, another shock I got is electricity bill, with same level of consumption(I used only this unit to check the electricity consumption and almost same time per day which I was using earlier) I got a huge bill(almost 74% increment in bill amount), oh gosh. its going to be liability for me. I dont have expectation from customer care hence no expectation that electricity consumption will improve:(
